We’re honoured to hear that Cargoson is making your transportation logistics more efficient and that you find features like freight inquiries, order management, and pricing integration valuable to your business.👌 Regarding smaller or local carriers without EDI/API integrations, the reason Cargoson doesn’t offer automatic milestone and tracking updates for them is simply because these carriers don’t have the technical capability for it. However, when using Cargoson, even these smaller carriers can manually update milestones, truck numbers, or delivery statuses directly into the system for their customer. This way, they become comparable with larger carriers who have automated tracking systems, providing more visibility and control over shipments. If you still have concerns about how to handle updates with smaller carriers, our customer support or your personal contact at Cargoson will be happy to assist, share best practises. 🙂 Your feedback is greatly appreciated! Genius Lies In Simplicity
Commenti: I am very satisfied with Cargoson. It makes my job much easier, eliminating the need to visit different shipping companies web pages and looking for the right contacts to ask price quotations from.

I like the simplicity and quickness, both in creating the shipments and communicating with the shippers'. I like how easy it is to ask quotations from many different service providers at once and then choose the best option based on their offered prices.
Aspetti negativi:
If I could improve anything, then I would improve the automatic price calculation when shipment comprises from different types of packages. For example one EUR pallet, one HPL pallet and one package. At the moment the automatic price calculator does not display the price for such shipments automatically.

Knowing that real-time price comparisons and the quick ordering process are helping you with daily time management and reducing the need for large transport procurements is fantastic. 🙃 Regarding delivery times, it’s important to note that with most carriers (except for couriers like FedEx, TNT, DHL Express, UPS, etc. who has more capable integrations), the transit times are uploaded directly from your agreed personal pricelists with carriers. If these times don’t align with reality, this is something to address with your carrier partner. Cargoson TMS itself is a logistics management tool for manufacturing, wholesale, and retail companies, designed to work with all freight partners, but it doesn’t influence carrier service quality. 😏 Thank you for sharing your experience and give us such a good review. They just do not have technical capability and we send these attachments to them separately via e-mail. On the bright side, integrations with FedEx already allow us to send Goods Invoices, and DHL Express takes it a step further with both Goods Invoices and Export Declarations seamlessly supported via our TMS. If carriers update their technical capabilities, we will gladly make the necessary developments on the Cargoson TMS side to provide all possible functionalities. If needed, we’ll integrate the carrier’s e-system or even work with email-based carriers, all included in your subscription. Sometimes it's not as easy to understand if adding 5 packages one should sum the total kg of the packages or write the single package weight. No option to sort the shipments in the Shipment menu. Would like to have an option to sort by ETA and/or ETD.
