Commenti: Mentorjam has allowed me to create a community where we share online courses, collateral, have conversations, share events, and use the structure to enrich the mentoring experience. These things differentiate from traditional social platforms and we own it so we can't get locked out or lose our people. The privacy and exclusive nature of the community also allows people to come as they are and connect authentically.

Everyone knows facebook or meta can change any minute. The times of parking your content all over social media sites is ending and it is critical to own your platform for community connection. For us, we wanted to build the largest ongoing online community for women in technology. We saved a lot just dropping Kajabi for our courses. This platform is more user friendly, flexible, and I feel like we are able to grow with it over time. The mentoring capabilities are super amazing. The customer support and buy in from the team to help you achieve your vision is also great! Highly recommend.

Aspetti negativi:

I think just adjusting it to what you need is key. The software is like a canvas, so you have to add the paint. That part is harder, but not related as much to the software.

"One-Stop Shop" with a lot of potential

Commenti: StellarUp is our NGO’s first technology partnership since we were established over four years ago. The platform is quite multi-functional, and its capabilities are well-suited for exactly what our organisation is trying to achieve – which is community building, knowledge sharing, and developing impactful mentor programmes for young adults. I appreciate this collaboration and the support from the entire team.

The platform is multi-functional. The customer success team is always very responsive (typically within a day or two) and supportive of our requests to resolve anything, provide additional guidance, and address changes to the platform that we needed.

Aspetti negativi:

The onboarding process took much longer than I initially expected. We don't have the full access as admin to independently process certain platform changes, so we need to channel some requests to the customer success team. Very minor (UX) bugs during the deployment period (which I guess is normal, and either way they were subsequently addressed or flagged by the internal team).

Amazing platform for mentor programs

The product wasn't ready - but it has potential and a good team behind it

Commenti: We used StellarUp's mentorship platform from March 2023 - June 2023 but moved to another platform as we felt the platform was not ready for us. The people in the team were friendly and listened to our issues throughout our partnership with them. Our customer services rep was helpful at onboarding staff and responsive. A senior member of the team joined several calls to acknowledge the flaws in our product compared to the MVP we had experienced before purchase. This person explained what the company was doing to address the flaws. As we off-boarded we were contacted by organisational leaders who requested feedback and reflected on it. Our experience with the people at StellarUp overall was good, it was the product that wasn't ready. While StellarUp was not ready for us, we believe it has potential. Had it worked fully then it would have presented good value for money compared to competitors.

We had useful onboarding calls with the team as we got onto the platform. We liked the range of functions on the platform - unfortunately few of them worked as expected 100% of the time.

Aspetti negativi:

1. The platform was difficult for our mentors and mentees to use.For example - there were two different ways to create and join a mentorship call. This was not explained to users as part of any onboarding so, before we addressed the issue through our own comms, we had a number of users try to speak to each other and end up on different calls without understanding that was the case.2. Performance/Speed of the platform.It was too slow our users in many areas in the Middle East and North Africa where internet speeds are slower.3. Too many issues with administrative functions- In our last weeks with the platform we were unable to upload videos, edit profiles or change our users' allocation to programs

The service is very good, the communication is always clear. The platform has many features and we use it daily. They are constantly improving and the modules are very good to use. All aspects of providing info to our users is available. They help us get future-ready. Big errors are quickly fixed.

Many errors occur regularly that prevent us from sending the content or events. This makes it hard for us to get our colleagues to use it regularly.

The platform is user-friendly, which allows us to focus on cultivating meaningful relationships between our participants rather than getting bogged down by a complicated interface.

Although we've only recently started using StellarUp, we understand that the platform is evolving, and we're looking forward to the upcoming improvements in performance tracking and program analytics.

We could tailor it to our specific requirements, using it simultaneously for different groups all as a white label SW tool under our own company name.

Aspetti negativi:

Nothing seems to be missing; they’ve thought of everything. The only thing we needed to do, was translate everything to Dutch, because this is the company language of the organizations we work for (and everything at Mentorjam was set up in English). But the support in all aspects and this translation, was super!

We’ve had a fantastic experience with Stellar Up. The mentor matching tool has been a game-changer for us, helping us connect with the right people and not waste a lot of time like we did before. The platform also does a great job with community engagement and event management, making it simple to bring people together and run events smoothly. Plus, the e-commerce feature has been a great way to monetize our community and offer valuable products to our members. Overall, amazing, we wished we started 2 years ago with Stellar Up. Highly recommend if you're looking to boost your community.

Sweet, not sticky

Commenti: Positive. In all honesty it revolutionised how we organise, mentor and match. Feeling of stepping out of a 'kitchen table' environment and into a professional arena. Members noticed the improvements immediately, perfect timing for our distance-events and attempts to create a sense of community and involvement between individuals and groups.

Aspetti positivi:

Mentorjam properly revolutionised our mentor program and promises to continue to improve with us. The software has huge potential to take our various regional and country-level programs into full global, using our global membership. As a pilot, the Dutch-based first phase has gone well. Minor hiccups were identified and when they were raised, solved virtually immediately. Most of all, we simply liked bringing the program into one place, where we could easily have an oversight, and up to date dashboard to connect, respond and match our mentors and mentees.

Aspetti negativi:

I least liked the presentation on cms. I found it basic and look forward to better formatting for newsletters and other messaging. Tiny changes will make all the difference (header types/fonts and images currently are basic, but growing).

Great Mentoring and Community Building Platform Out There.

Commenti: Excellent experience so far (2+ years), exceptional customer service and the platform is a game-changer.

Our audience is built up of users who grew up around technology and those that did not - and both find it relatively accessible, straightforward and extremely helpful for mentoring. I like how the team has put a lot of thought behind the options users would want/need in the platform. Many of the questions one would have when using the platform (e.g. can I video call from it? etc) have all been answered which is super helpful.

This is difficult to say given the pros.

Nothing stands out as lacking in the offering, for the purpose we use this platform for - it's really fit the bill! More video or media format integrations would be ideal for compiling the resource library. However the Mentorjam team are really proactive in asking for feedback and rolling out improvements and features based on the needs communicated to them.

Commenti: Overall experience with Mentorjam is excellent. The Mentorjam team is on top of everything and always available to assist if and where needed. They provide support and suggestions designed specifically for you/your company all the way.

Aspetti positivi:

The email integration where you are able to broadcast a message to your team directly from the platform to the team's email inbox is super cool and handy. It's also nice that you have an option to display this on the platform's dashboard and that you have the option to select a specific group of people within the platform to share with.

We can easily see our participants profile, relationships, level of progress and many more. The platform is very user friendly and easy to navigate. It is also possible to send out bulk messages or participate in forums. Everything is in one place to access and manage!
