Excellent Customer Service for Our Essential Platforms Integrations

[sensitive content hidden], who handled our project, was an incredible professional. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful, dedicated, and a pleasure to work with. In his hands we went from feeling intimidated by the integration, to feeling confident in it. The software works as we need it to, most importantly. We went live a month ago and everything has performed as expected, with no major issues. We are using it to connect our Microsoft Dynamics Navision ERP system with our new Shopify site, syncing product data, inventory, orders, customers, transactions, etc. Though the pre-built connector APPSeCONNECT had for our ERP was pretty rudimentary, the APPSeCONNECT team was very happy and able to customize the connection to work for us. They were able to include all necessary business processes in the integration!

Initial startup of the project dragged a bit, and it was hard to understand what was needed for things to get moving. In the first few weeks communication was slow, and a bit incomplete. However once we started work in earnest, communication improved completely. The email notifications from the AeC platform aren’t very helpful, as you can’t click into them to identify the cause of any errors. All they really do is make me anxious.

They market it as an easy standardized solution to connect Navision and Shopify. But it's a software development project without any structured process or standards. After months still no results besides some screen recordings which suggest it would work. No deadlines were met

It's not an app to setup quickly and try it for free. It needs a complet customisation. There are no standards, not even in project management. The onboarding is pretty chaotic, we even came up with some documents to make it a bit more structured. After several missed milestones for many weeks, we still don't see and real working sync between Navision and Shopify. I don't know if it really works or if it's a scam but i definitely cannot recommend it and I'm sure a simple connection via FTP would have been much more efficient.

The things more like about this service is the customer service that the team give us, they're always ready to help us. Another thing what we like is the implementation of automate a LOT of process we were doing manually.

The only thing we saw as bad was that our server blocked the connection a lot time of the team for the migration and other steps.

While there are many positive aspects to APPSeCONNECT, if I had to mention a downside, it would be the occasional complexity of the setup process. Despite comprehensive documentation and support, some users may find it challenging to configure certain integrations initially.

Inexpensive compared to other companies. Top Tier Service. Lots of integration ability. If you can think of it, they can integrate it.

Shopify > Nav 2016 Order Sync
Aspetti positivi:
The communication and professional delivery and development of our Shopify and Nav integration by Debangan at Appse. He never fails to deliver and is always prompt and answering queries and requests. Debangan delivered our 3rd integration project within just 4 hours once the scope had be defined.
Aspetti negativi:
Price structure can be confusing. And had a few back-and-forths regarding onboarding fees. But we solved the issues promptly.

Aside from working directly with the programmer, [sensitive content hidden], the next best part was the ease in which things were spooled up and its consistent functionality.

If I had to complain about one thing, it would be the login portal. I still need after logging in to removed everything to the right of *.com in the URL and refresh in order to bypass the setup screens and get right to the process flows.

Good experience with deployment team
Commenti: We utilize APPSeCONNECT to pass sales orders from Shopify to SAP B1. Our dedicated deployment agent has been great to work with. We've had to make subsequent customization changes; things we did not realize our prior system just "did" that were unknowingly not part of initial connection. So, my advice is to really think about literally every aspect of your current process (assuming you're converting from something existing) and make sure every little detail is discussed during implementation planning. It's difficult to catch every little thing when you're just used to certain things working a certain way, but know if you don't and things suddenly function differently when you turn it on, they'll be change requests thereafter. But other than design hiccups, the product works, the team is responsive, and there are customization options.

- Error codes not descriptive - get the same error (which is not particularly instructive) whether customer or product issue and no way to interpret without applying basic system knowledge and assumptions - Working with dramatic time zone difference is ok for me as I'm up early, but may not be ideal for others; team at AEC is pretty accommodating given the vast difference though - Pretty basic out of the box capabilities; minor tweaks require customization

The portal is very easy to navigate and makes what troubleshooting you can do on your own very effective. They were extremely accommodating to find a meeting time that worked for both time zones until our project was complete and when their focus was on our issues things got solved very quickly.

The conflicting time zone is a constant challenge and being a seasonal business only increases that stress on any delays in response or project moving forward. We have only a few months to be effective and it seems hard for other business to understand and react to that in a manner that fully supports our business needs.

The team at InSync have been great to deal with the process of our new website integration.
Commenti: The ability to integrate our e-commerce system to our Accounting System seamlessly. Our accounting system communicates to our website automatically and keeps our website up-to-date instantly.

The integration of AppseConnect allowed us to have an open source platform of Woocommerce to talk to our Accounting Software SAP for our business. This allowed us to easily integrate our customer database and customer orders directly from our website to our accounting software and visa versa instantly with no manual process. The software is very intelligent and allows our individual product information to feed on our accounting software directly to our website. This means that when product information is changed in our account software, say the price and stock QTY's - our website is instantly updated. The team at Insync - especially my account manager Pratik, were very knowledgeable and even accommodated to custom integration we needed that went beyond standard scope. They have great communication and have been easy to deal with, explaining in detail the process of each task. Change requests were handled quickly, which was very nice and refreshing, especially from an overseas provider. They had so much patience with every new request that we needed and were available day and night and weekends as well. So general Support is on very high level. I would happily recommend the AppseConnect and the team at Insync, if you want a 3rd party to work on connecting your online website to your accounting system, especially when your accounting system does not offer a 'cloud' service.

The software was a big expense to the total cost of the development to build our new site, however it is very intelligent and stops manual processes and human errors within the company structure; So in-turn we believe is is going to be worth the cost in the long term. The cloud portal has been a great help although we have had some internet browser related issues which were easily resolved quickly.
Good solution for a complex problem
Commenti: We had to create a very complex connection between our MMS and WooCommerce. This took time and there was often confusion on both sides because requirements were formulated unclearly or tasks were marked as finished even though they were not yet finally running. So it was not an easy process, but in the end we are now very happy with the finished product.

AppseConnect handles the connection between our MMS and the website. After the test phase, the process runs completely automatically, without any need to take care of it. The team is very friendly and took care of our 1000 small and big customisations.
Aspetti negativi:
Personally, I am not yet a fan of the new online portal, as it is not very user-friendly compared to its predecessor. After the GoLive, however, it is only rarely necessary to use it, so that will no longer be a problem in the future.
