The validation package that is received with the software is easy to follow and very detailed and complete. Also, the integration of modules and being able to link between different records has made our control of documents and records much easier, including training. This is mainly because: 1) we require significant customizations of the layouts to work with our systems, 2) limited staff resources to make the changes and verify the work., 3) after we verify all the changes and are ready to implement we will have to re-create those changes that we did in the test database in the production database. I asked about item 3 because it involves so much re-entry and was advised that's how it is. I suppose we could have done all the changes in the production database to begin with but that goes counter to the typical approach of verification of test prior to production. This is the most significant drawback we have found with QCBD.
