Informazioni su Dayforce HCM
Potente applicazione singola con un'esperienza utente unica e senza interfacce. Elimina la manutenzione delle interfacce tra modulo e database.
Nice demo with good support. Pricing is a bit out of our budgeted amount.
The Customer Service is really poor. I have been asking for this report that I used with the system that I used with the system I had used prior to Ceridian Dayforce.

One of the most advanced HRIS platforms
Commenti: I like that it works with Microsoft Office and that we can connect it to other systems via several different application programming interfaces. Their most recent updates have been great, and I can't wait to try out the next things they've been hinting at.
Dayforce HCM is used for new hire processing and health insurance enrollment. Our company processes three different payrolls for its different employee types (Union, Exempt, and Non-Exempt).
There is a unique Employee Number for each worker. It combines the two into one cohesive whole while making reports. To properly divide them, I must always use the Text to Columns function in Excel. If they could be separated straight away, it would be great.
Dayforce realistic review
Commenti: It’s a great tool and an upgrade compared to our old system. It is definitely for a larger company. I like a lot of the customizable features but the system isn’t super intuitive and it’s not the easiest to learn.
I really enjoy some of the features like Dayforce Hub, Performance Management and Engagement. They are all customizable and easy to figure out.
You have to learn how to set up everything yourself. If there is an issue Dayforce doesn’t fix it for you, they guide you on how to fix it. Also there are costa associated with every change you make
Hiring managers to determine need for cover letter
Commenti: Lack of option for cover letter requirement at hiring manager's discretion is unacceptable. Unfortunately, we switched from a previous better system.
Clean looking and uncluttered interface.
Lack of option for cover letter requirement at hiring manager's discretion. Certain functions not intuitive and lack of training guides.
Dayforce simplifies and accelerates the payroll processing
Commenti: Dayforce is an excellent option for any enterprise-level business. If you're looking to fix a problem with the system's mainstay functionality—namely, payroll and related "pay logic”—I think Dayforce is your best bet. After making that call, you'll also see increased productivity from the other modules I mentioned.
Ceridian Dayforce is used for many different purposes, including payroll, benefits, and attendance tracking. The payroll is run every other week. Dayforce is used for benefits enrollment, and the data is then sent to our supplier via an export. Dayforce is used to record and analyze attendance data, whereas DF is used to record and analyze vacation, sick, and personal time.
While progress has been made in the area of learning, its usefulness is limited by the fact that it is integrated from the outside. The scheduling module requires more human intervention than is ideal.
Streamlined HR Management with Dayforce HCM
Commenti: I have had a mostly positive experience with Dayforce HCM, as it has streamlined our HR processes and increased productivity. The single employee record and real-time insights have been extremely helpful, but there's room for improvement in customer support and ease of navigation.
I appreciate how Dayforce HCM has consolidated employee information into one platform, making it easy for me to access and manage crucial data. The on-demand access has significantly improved my efficiency in making informed decisions.
While I generally find Dayforce HCM to be user-friendly, I occasionally experience difficulty navigating through some of its features. Additionally, the customer support response time can be slow, which may be frustrating when facing urgent issues.
One solution for HR, payroll and scheduling needs
Commenti: My overall experience has been wonderful. I and the company have been able to achieve many tasks conveniently with the software and it has increased our growth.
The most beneficial feature is that it solves many problems together which has helped my company from importing data or worrying about data dropping off when using different softwares.
The implementation process was difficult for us to navigate at some point. That's something they can work on in order to make the software easy to use even for beginners.
A robust product - but expensive
Commenti: It's a solid product, but Tax and customer service really need an over haul.
It's always improving and very flexible.
The price is very expensive with a lot of additional fees for everything. Customer service could be improved and has been going downhill for the past few years.
Ceridian has many tools for growth
Commenti: The entire company will use the HCM system to manage their employment and training information. All contingent workers will use the electronic time cards (Workforce Management, as Dayforce calls it), however, at a very initial magnitude. Hourly workers at each site will make use of their own timekeeping systems, these will be set up to provide information to Dayforce.
We set up work procedures to switch from one to another, and it is always possible to find the place where a transaction takes place if you know the procedure. It gives workers a way to communicate with their managers if they are not within company email. Leave of absence requests are now done online. So Payroll can observe transactions in real time, so you know what your figures look like prior to submitting them for processing.
The online training is guided by a trainer and lasts 3 to 4 hours. Dayforce needs to expand their training repertoire to incorporate short, recorded web classes for users. additionally, they possess certain capabilities for a cost that is standard for users, but I believe this should be the norm when logging into a new program. Although Dayforce and other Ceridian applications are described as the same, they are actually different. Ceridian products can be enhanced in order to assist users in making the right decisions when switching to Dayforce from their current program. Several times we are unsure of how Dayforce operates compared to our current program and also the staff is clueless because the whole thing is so new.
One-Stop shop for HR and Payroll
Commenti: It saves time when you have a one-stop tool for managing the Employees. It provides us with custom and pre-defined reports. We also use the option of Internal Jobs posting which makes us use one less portal.
We can do the complete Employee Management in this tool starting from Onboarding to time tracking to leave management to Goal setting to Annual Feedback cycles to Compensation.
It does not provide hierarchical visibility on Employees, As a Manager you can only see the data for your immediate reportee and not further down the chain
Commenti: very configurable.
Love the payroll module. Much better than the old system.
entitlement module still need a lot to be streamlined better.
Commenti: My overall experience is great. I so rarely have an issue I cannot solve on my own. The software is easy to use and the customer support is friendly and super helpful. Not 1 complaint on my end.
EVERYTHING!!!!! I love how simple it is to use, straight-forward, I so rarely have to call for issues and when I do need customer support they have all the answers quickly and efficiently.
Nothing I absolutely love this software for Payroll.
Commenti: Our payroll is much easier, HR processing is a bit harder than prior and reporting is good but complex.
Flexibility, customer support, sales team, leadership
Complexity. The software is so powerful that it becomes quite confusing .
Commenti: We use this for payroll currently and are in the process of implementing HR.
The system is easy for us to use. We have not had any issues with our processes.
Report Building is not as robust as we would like.
Commenti: The ease of use with Dayforce has been dependent on how well our legacy information has come over during implementation and the learning of the users. My biggest hurdle has been that with HR/PR SQL, I knew everything and how to fix it, this has been a steep learning curve for me.
The integration between HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance and Benefits is the main reason we went with Dayforce. It gave us an all inclusive solution to our needs
The reliance on Silverlight has been the main drawback, but that is going away soon. The other issue has been a latency issue for our satellite users; the time to load IE has been a problem but the ability to use Chrome has helped.
Best Decision We've Made
Commenti: We do not use paper time sheets, this has the HR function which we have never had before.
Payroll and HR is more efficient. It's easy to use an learn. I love the educational feature.
There is really nothing I don't like. I think we were so outdated on the system we had before that everything on this system was an improvement.
Dayforce HCM Review
Commenti: We have been able to become more paperless with Dayforce. For the most part, payroll processes correctly each pay period. Open Enrollment saved lots of time and paper and the employees seemed to really like the process. I think as we learn to use all of the functionality of the system, we will find more benefits and cost-savings. We are just disappointed that we did not get this information/recommendations from our implementation team. And the fact that modules that should have been live and working properly at the time of implementation are still not functional has been extremely frustrating. Our HR Admins are doing more work now, than they did before implementing Dayforce , where Attendance Management is concerned.
The system has lots of flexibility and functionality - unfortunately our implementation did not go very well (we are still working on it over a year after going live) so I don't believe we are using the system to its full capacity. The user experience is really friendly. Our current employees and onboarding employees like the system.
It seems that the implementation team wants to cut you off long before the system is running as expected. It's wonderful that Ceridian is working on so many great, new, cutting-edge options but our users (PR/HRAdmins, Managers) just want the current functionality to work properly. We are still submitting lots of tickets to support on a weekly basis and we have found the quality of support to be herky-jerky. Some of the reps are really good and others seem to just want to get the case off their plate without full resolution of the issue.
Dayforce HCM is a great, single database cloud software, that is constantly adding new features.
Commenti: Having used Dayforce HCM for over 5 years, I can honestly say that it is an incredible piece of software that is ever-expanding, and the developers are always hard at work creating more modules. As opposed to previous systems where it required multiple file feeds internally, which would constantly update one place such as the HR record, but would not update in Payroll, Self Service, Benefits, or wouldn't update in any of them; with Dayforce however, there are no longer such data integrity issues, as it uses one database to house it all. It also also far easier on the eyes than some previous systems, and the ad-hoc reporting along with topic builder make creating custom reports quite easy (once you get the gist of how it works - there is a learning curve if you don't take the training - but if you're savvy, it's quite robust). The key with Dayforce is IMPLEMENTATION. If you are not diligent, clear, and thorough with the discovery stage and throughout implementation, it will haunt you down the road. Make a team, dedicate someone to nothing but testing and making sure you've got it doing what each team/department/manager/user needs it to do, just do something to make sure you are comfortable with the application and get what you need, otherwise you will spend a lot of time fixing issues with upset employees . Ceridian has grown their teams vastly, so the support reps can be hit and miss, but if you are techy and willing to learn the system, it is far superior to the others out there, and can be very low maintenance.
One database means data is always consistent throughout modules. The flexibility within the configuration is unmatched. Beautiful appearance and very user-friendly.
The switch from SilverLight to HTML has been slow and each release has been somewhat buggy initially after upgrading when using the new HTML pieces. Aside from that, the system is as good as your involvement and motivation to learn (especially during Implementation - be diligent and thorough in your discovery and scoping, or it will be painful when transferred to support).
Not userfriendly but to discover
Commenti: Overall, it was painful at moments (because of all the issues) but I'm happy I only had one centralized system to work with.
I worked with Dayforce from Ceridian for over 2 years. It was difficult to implement it but what is good with this system is how EVERYTHING is centralized, employee information, payroll, timesheet, time off request, onboarding, etc. This is GREAT, it saves time. They do have FEW but VERY competent technical support specialist that we can rely on but unfortunately, not all of them are able to support you properly.
The problems with Dayforce are that EVERYTIME you want to do a modification (vacation calculation per example) it cost you money. Every time they do a modification based on what you asked, it will impact something else (since everything is centralized) and most of the time, their customer support team are not specialized enough to know what changes impacts what. It is VERY painful working with their team sometimes as a problem solved creates another issue where most of the time you still need to pay extra money to solve it.
Dayforce - HR and Payroll software
Commenti: It is a good product. It is cloud based which makes is highly desirable during the pandemic. Customer support is also very helpful.
A lot of features are easy to adapt and there is less of a learning curve. The software can be used for a host of HR functions from payroll to recruitment, LMS, performance management and more.
The system has a vast number of features and one needs to rely on a consultant for customization. Advanced knowledge of software engineering is necessary while creating reports or XML forms.
Empowering Team Members
Commenti: Overall, we have truly benefited from partnering with Dayforce. Our team members are excited about the user friendliness of the program, the accessibility from their mobile devices and the functions that empower them to submit requests & changes electronically. Our managers have raved about being able to schedule within labor guidelines and team member availability. Time Off requests are easier to track, schedule, approve/decline. Personal Action Form items that require approval are now electronic, which has smoothed out our process. We have seen a decrease in the amount of paperwork that was being processed & tracked, we have seen an increase in managerial productivity, we have seen a time savings in our payroll processing and an improvement in our reporting capabilities.

Implementation might drive you crazy, but your team will be elated & productivity improved. It would have been helpful to know more about what was required & expected for implementation so we could have made better decisions with assigning responsibilities during the implementation process.
Good intention, but poor execution
Commenti: I like our older system, TimeForce by Qquest much better. It was much more user friendly.
This product attempts to gather all HR themed items in one location. That is beneficial. Timesheets, schedules, pay stubs, benefits, etc.
Much of the software appears outdated. Organization is at a minimal, it's like they kept adding things and never organized it well. Locations for certain aspects are all over the place, and rarely makes sense where to find. Forms are not very clear. Training videos are outdated and show clearly older versions of the software. Work Schedules for my employees are never correct, I then correct it, but it keeps going back to incorrect schedule data, so I just ignore it and figure my employees know when they are working. For my employees, the clock-in, clock-out time sheets are horrible, it shows them nothing in regards to when they clocked in, when they clocked out, and how about a running total for hours for the week?...forget about it. From a manager stand-point, viewing my employees time sheets isn't good, as it doesn't total worked hours from time off hours to holiday hours, etc....so I always have to manually add up their hours to make sure correct. Lots of time wasted...
Easy to use, lots of flexibility, and huge time saver!
Commenti: Our company launched Dayforce HCM in May of 2015. We went from an entirely manual process to a sleek HRIS. This was a large challenge due to the significant amount of change for our managers and employees. Luckily, Dayforce was easy to use so it reduced the amount of training our employees needed. Now that we are fully functional on the program, we are seeing huge productivity gains from our admin, payroll, HR and management teams. We have also increased our ability to effectively manage our business by increasing our visibility and access to employees. I would highly recommend this product to others looking to invest in an HRIS or considering changing providers.
The ability to customize the product to fit our unique business challenges. This was very important to us given we work in a very complex environment. Ceridian was able to make software changes that allowed us to accomplish the specific tasks we needed in order to effectively manage our business.
The thing I like least about the software are some of the compatibility issues. The recruitment module is unable to accept formatting from Microsoft word which means we need to change the format of job descriptions before they can be posted.
Great HCM product that will save your company labor costs and help you in every aspect of HR & Payroll
Commenti: I LOVE the system! We just went through the Thomas fire in Southern California and without this system we would not have been able to communicate with our staff. While we were being evacuated, I was trying to send payroll and if we were still with ADP we never would have been able to. I would have had 750 employees that were evacuated, some had lost everything and they would not have gotten paid. Dayforce literally saved the day for everyone. We were closed for 5 weeks and without the messaging capability through Dayforce, we wouldn't have been able to communicate with our staff. I was able to check on employees and answer questions while I too was evacuated. The system gave us some relief in a time that was scary, emotionally draining and stressful. The gratitude I have for making this switch from ADP to Ceridian before the fire happened, can't be put into words. Other payroll professionals will know the stress of not being able to send a payroll, but in the worst time for me I did not have that stress. The system offers so much and no other Payroll & HR software provider even comes close.
Robust system, everything is in 1, constantly enhancing the system, Insights conference is AMAZING, XOXO website lets you communicate with other customers and is hands down a game changer
Because the system is so robust, the implementation is hard, reporting is outdated and formatting is not the best.
