This is what you need if you have camp program

Where do I start. We have campers all around California and out of state. Our old system was complicated, not user friendly and parents would have to mail or email us additional forms. With CampDoc everything we need from parents are all in one place. If parents forget to sign or fill out, we can just email them to go in and take care of the issue. On the back end - user friendly for staff. Everything they had to do on paper now can be done online from assigning cabins, reviewing special request, rosters, etc.

Aspetti negativi:

At the beginning it was a challenge with the integration with our current software. the Communication between three parties was challenging but at the end it was worth it.

makes registration forms easy

Commenti: its good to have and easier than using paper forms. just a little bit on the pricey side

isnt the easiest to update or change documents. billing is kind of high, especially since we get charged for months when we arent even using the product

Commenti: Overall, CampDoc gets the job done.The price is prohibitive for us. We only use the software seasonally for 3-4 months and we also don't use a lot of the components available. We have 5 camps that run 9 weeks so the Campdoc staff can set it up very quickly and easily and it's just a copy of the year before. So really we only use it for camper data and reports of that camper data. We don't use the camper check in feature either. So basically I pay $3000+ to collect camper data. It would be nice if there were fees for components used.

I do like that it gathers all the camper information I need in one location. it is easy for parents to fill out and I like the automatic reminders that are sent from CampDoc.

It could be more user friendly. It is complicated making reports and groups and it is challenging to get all the information to all my camp locations and the staff there. We do not have computers at our parks so they all need to access it via camp cell phone. I'm not sure CampDoc was designed for municipal programs. Probably works better for resident camps.

Almost perfect but very expensive

Commenti: Aside from cost, very positive. While it's clunky, they try to improve that each year and listen to suggestions/feedback and actually implement them. They are also always available to help.

We love the medical aspect, stronger than all other camp software that I've seen so far. I like that campers can register and get all their info in and that it rolls over year after year. Staff are always available for our needs. They also always ask for feedback and have seen some of our suggestions be implemented over the years. CampDoc really was a HUGE game changer for our program in terms of increasing medical safety, increasing camper enrollment, customer service (no more re-doing the same paper forms over and over!), improved data tracking, and reduced admin work when it comes to 'paper chasing' forms. I recommend it to all my camp friends who need a way to keep campers safe medically.

In short:Has a steep learning curve, clunky/not intuitive, missing a few important med features (but still is better than all other camp software!), SO EXPENSIVE (almost unaffordable) especially for a very small camp (we serve only about 100 campers total).Longer Explanation:After 7 years I still feel like I am stumbling through it or needing to re-look up how to pull specific reports that I feel I should be able to . It just still feels a bit 'clunky' and not quite as intuitive as it should be. If you don't use it every day, it's hard for seasonal staff to learn and re-learn year to year.Cost honestly is the worst part of CampDoc. Price SOARED in just a single year, I mean SOARED!!I wish they had a creative way to make it more affordable for small camps that only operate for a single weekend or serve few campers. I know several camps who had to let it go. My camp honestly can't afford it either, but because the alternative is far to risky (ie more med errors would happen, etc), we won't let it go and cut costs elsewhere.

I like the customization a lot. Customer service is fast and helpful! It seems user friendly for parents as well. Unfortunately we can't use it for registration software but it seems like it would integrate well and other aspects of the software would be useful. The

There seems to be a lot of issues with the report building - I can never get it to pull everything I need in one single report. I also hate that you can't see attendance lists until the program actually starts. I'm the one who set up our system and I'm pretty tech savvy but it is a little cumbersome. The customer service I've spoken with tend to talk in their jargon which isn't the same as mine so it takes a bit to get things worked out. Our price basically doubled and we were not happy about that. But, we did so much work to get it up and running, we decided to stick with it for a couple of more years. We will look into switching in the future to save some money though.

Essential organization software

Commenti: CampDoc is wonderful. The product is invaluable to our operations, and I am very grateful for the high level of customer service that the team provides to us. They are responsive and flexible to our needs. I have always been impressed by the level of knowledge and professionalism that every member of their team shows.

Our team uses CampDoc at all levels. Hourly camp teachers use it to keep track of the campers on their rosters and to manage food and activity safety. Management uses it to keep camp records and waivers on file. This software is essential to the smooth operation of our camp.

Aspetti negativi:

The software is powerful, so it can take some time to learn and feel like I am using it to its fullest potential. The online training videos are helpful, but it can take a lot of my time in my work day to really understand the tools and resources available to help me learn the software.

CampDoc is a Camp Must!

Commenti: The registration process saves a lot of printing of forms, having parents fill them in (sometimes illegibly), and shows them exactly what is missing to complete their registration. Saves a lot of parent phone calls with questions, or us having to continuously reach out to let them know what's missing.

Aspetti positivi:

We love that the parents create an online account and then can take their time with completing everything because we do have a lot of medical questions for our camp.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish we were able to make more changes to the staff application - for instance they shouldn't have to go to the page that talks about tuition or recieve notifications about camp insurance.

CampDoc assessment 2022

Commenti: It's been a bit of a transition since Covid, but my support teams is wonderful and really works hard to understand our business and support our annual changes. We haven't had a "normal" year since 2019, but we are arriving at our new normal.

Aspetti positivi:

The ability for participants to register and pay on-line as well as the digital approach to forms. Online forms saves countless hours during a summer season. It's also easy to print out forms for host venues that require it.

Aspetti negativi:

It would be super beneficial if CampDoc could generate emails that collect data and populate that data into a participants account. For example, as part of our application process applicants must provided a teacher email address. We then reach out to the teacher (using another 3rd party software) and collect a standardized teacher recommendation. We would love to house this data in campdoc so that all of our data is in one system.

Assuring Student Safety

Commenti: CampDoc's customer service and set-up process is beyond exceptional. They are truly experts at offering timely service and great solutions.

CampDoc allows for clean, efficient, and secure record management. It enables our nursing staff to make sound medical decisions, administer accurately, and offers campus teams the needed information to keep students safe throughout their stay.

Aspetti negativi:

We'd love to ability to further customize our medication confirmation/authorization form, but beyond that we are fully satisfied with the software's capabilities.

Easy to use software to manage our camp systems

I guess dislike that edits to forms take a while to appear, like you can't live edit it yourself.

Some of the more advanced features are not intuitive to get to or use. The hardest part of the platform is permissions for provider accounts.

Youth Rally Camp

Commenti: We have been able to access all the past records very easily since we set this up a number of years ago.

Once we set it up for the year, it is easy to update year to year and change what needs to be changed while keeping those that are fine.

It takes a long time to get the launch based on changes back and forth.

Long time user!

I have been using CampDoc for many years and I continue to find that the program grows and gets better each and every year. I have been a very satisfied customer. The customer support is great and makes using the product very easy. [Sensitive Content Hidden], my account manager, is great too!

Aspetti negativi:

No specifics cons, and always provide feedback. CampDoc seems to listen to our feedback. I'd love to see a "drag and drop" feature for assigning cabins / groups.

Its fine

HIPPA Compliance, Professional Looking, easy to navigate for our parents.

Aspetti negativi:

Its gender flexibility and reporting features could use improvement. Its fees are expensive, and customer service, while usually fine, has gone downhill a lot since they changed the pricing structure on the platform. It got way more expensive, and the customer service and features were not improved in my opinion.

Great software and our parents loved it!

Commenti: I have only heard positives from our staff. Obviously, there was a learning curve and we had internet issues at our site, but after that things went smoothly. I had a question one day and reached out to your support staff. They responded quickly and with an easy to understand answer!

Our director just sent out a summary of the parent questionnaires. There is one question on our eval form specifically about registration and here is what we heard back from our parents: Pre-camp Registration: Very easy to do; easy online; good - love online; very easy to access and complete; ok; online took some getting used to but was good - liked email reminders; easy; Awesome! Love the new online system - it made preparing for camp so much easier and smoother; it went fairly well; great; Love it! Pretty easy to work with and make payments; online registration was great! New software/company used for registration was very thorough and I loved knowing how complete/incomplete each section was. Also appreciated not bringing forms to camp registration day!; very easy; smooth; easy; online registration was great! So, as you can see, it went over well.

One of the customer reps. was exceptional! He always worked at my pace and never made feel like I was asking dumb questions. I felt that the live training was very informative but it was especially important to me that I could go back to a pre-recorded version to refresh on a topic or relearn something at my pace. I loved the screenshots as I could print them and walk through the materials with staff using them as a guide. The support team was always helpful to me and in many cases our parents too!!

We currently do not have the ability to use a computer to store information so had to print everything for our various camp sites. We knew this going into the process, but hope to have some tablets next year to help. It still is such a time saver for staff and parents to be able complete all the paperwork online!

A VERY easy system to navigate!

It was a pleasure using CampDoc this summer. It's pretty self explanatory, organized and made camper information accessible whether at camp or off site. I received a one-on-one review with the camp director and everything else seemed self explanatory. I worked at another camp last year, who used a different software, and found CampDoc to be more accessible/easier to navigate. As an EMT, the health log and ability to look up camper allergies and medications made my job easy. Everything was legible, accessible, and insured the proper uploading of medical documents. In the event of an emergency, there was no need to dig around for information, anyone who had access to CampDoc could look up a camper's information from phone or tablet at camp or field trips.

3rd year using Campdoc.com

Commenti: We have been using Campdoc.com for 3 summers, and our experience has only improved. The staff works with us to get the most out of their service that we can. This has improved the paperwork and efficiency of the camp health office tremendously.

I really love the customer support. At every level, I feel like I can get my questions answered in a timely fashion and their solutions can be applied in real-time. I can depend on CampDoc to do their best to ensure our registrations are ready for launch when we need them!

Aspetti negativi:

I wish there were companion FAQ videos. Sometimes describing the problem is more complicated. I prefer learning visually, so sometimes it can be difficult for me to troubleshoot through reading articles.
