It's an affordable comprehensive system that gives you the keys to operate the system and modify with support.

What I liked least was that it is a unique system that I had to learn how to use. Fortunately it was not difficult to learn and the team offered great support through videos, documents and person to person coaching.

We had a last-minute need for an online granting process and needed an affordable tool where we could get everything running quickly with minimal input from our end. Even though their development times are typically longer, they were willing to adapt to our timeline and still delivered the forms a week earlier! Throughout the entire process, their support team has been amazing--always available, always happy to help and incredibly fast to turn things around. We hardly had to do any of the development ourselves, despite this being a last-minute request. As a small team with limited spare capacity, this was a lifesaver in being able to keep to our grantmaking timeline.
Aspetti negativi:
While the functionalities are enough for most organizations' granting needs, there are a few customization options, such as greater flexibility with repeating questions, which we would have liked. However, the support team helped us find acceptable workarounds.
NOT Worth IT!
Commenti: The service has been above average but the platform is designed so poorly it takes away from any saving grace. This has been a horrifying experience for me!

Please reach out directly to your implementation lead. Also, WizeHive is not the administrator of any of the programs on our platform; the organizations we work with manage their programs. If you are a reviewer who is having issues with the program administrator please contact them directly.

Improving Grants Management and Processes
Commenti: This experience has been wonderful and I would recommend WizeHive to anyone I know that works with grants and the management of them.

My favorite part of WizeHive honestly outside of functionality of the software, but the staff I have worked with throught the sale and implementation process. I cannot speak highly enough about the staff at WizeHive. They are knowledgable, friendly, and so responsive.

The WizeHive Academy modules are a little overwhelming especially when you don't have a lot of time to really dig into them.
Great for managing multiple grant programs
Aspetti positivi:
WizeHive's set-up and staff support is great-- they walk you through the steps and features of each part of the process so you understand what you can do and where and when and how.
Aspetti negativi:
We did not consider the reporting dashboard enough when setting up the application, so we had to redo some questions after the fact to get the right format to be able to report accurately and efficiently. This should be considered at every step along the way during the set-up process, and it felt like it was a last-minute thing to which we did not dedicate enough time. The other thing that was a disappointment is the fact that I was told that BILL could be integrated, but it turns out there is a pretty steep fee to do that, which no one seemed to know until months down the road into the process.
Scholarship Implimentation Review
Commenti: Overall, it was a great experience and liked how the trainings were saved in our folder.

Live in-person training during the implemenation phase. The implementation lead was able to change/edit things along the way in both of our scholarship portals.

We were not able to use one portal for the scholarships we have.
Manage applications & team workflows with Wizehive
Aspetti positivi:
The best part about Wizehive was being able to create a custom workflow and experience for my team's diverse needs. Using Wizehive allowed us to put 3 different workflows, used by 3 different teams/roles all in one place. And the experience for the user is a lot easier than other systems for processing applications.
Aspetti negativi:
The only thing I didn't like was testing out the views for different roles within my workspace. It makes it hard to train other teams when their views look different than an admin view and I can't toggle back and forth but instead have to start playing with incognito windows, permissions, fake email addresses etc
Excellent vendor experience
Commenti: Our experience with WizeHive has been one of our best and most rewarding vendor relationships. We had a very smooth implementation process and the support received from WizeHive has been amazing- I wish we could have more vendor relationships like this one!

Prior to signing the contract with WizeHive, they held blueprint sessions with us to ensure they understood our program and process and that their platform would meet our needs. That prevented any unexpected surprises through the implementation process which we had experienced with previous vendors. The platform itself is simple to use with minimal training for administrators and we are offer to have a platform that is easy to use for our applicants.

Not finding them sooner? There are no cons with mentioning in a review- this platform has worked very well for our needs.
Excellent Service from the Very Beginning

The helps and service we have received from the beginning of our implementation has been excellent. We have had all of our questions and concerns answered. Anything we needed to be done has been done.

From the demo to go live the people at WizeHive have been great to work with! The implementation team has been fantastic to work with. They are knowledgeable, patient, attentive and have been willing to do the lion share of the work when building out forms and customizing rules. Any time we have ran into a roadblock, the implementation team worked to find a suitable solution or workaround They have also used their experience to be proactive about helping us avoid pitfalls of setting up software in ways that might be challenging down the road. When you are going into new software, you don't know what you don't know... but they took the time to understand and listen to what we were trying to accomplish and consulted with us on the best use of the software why some of our ideas may not have been the best long term! It was refreshing to work with a knowledgeable team who was invested in our success!

If I had to name a con, it would be some limitations with customizing the user interface. I would have liked to make the user experience a bit more friendly or modern. (fonts, layout, colors, etc) But in all my research into other software platforms it was a trade off, you could have a more sleek or custom user interface but not as much functionality. In the end functionality was more important to us which is why we choose WizeHive.
Simple to use - self explanatory
Commenti: My overall experience has been a good one. The best experience I have is when I can speak with a person at Wizehive for what are complicated questions that I have. It's hard to express your issues in a support ticket, because of that you don't always get the right answers and have to keep asking thru the support ticket. If you could speak with someone, they better understand what you're trying to do and your issues.

That the applicant can log in to their application and see what they did last year, they can also see where their application is in the process, emails are simple to send and you have control over the emails being sent

I wish that Wizehive had an 800 number - a number you can call and speak with someone. I don't like that I have to send an email stressing that I need to talk to someone. Speaking with a live person is so very helpful and it's the one thing that I feel Wizehive is lacking...in a big way
Best Development Team
Aspetti positivi:
Their response time is second to none. We have had the best team work with us through each of our projects, producing a product for us that was beyond our expectations. Any roadblock we ran into was swiftly resolved.

Customization
Commenti: The training and customer service was excellent. All WizeHIve representatives were professional, knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with.
Aspetti positivi:
The development and training process. WizeHive spent time to learn our program and system before suggesting ways to set up the grant management steps. We were able to tweak it as it was developed to better align the existing process with the online portal.

Not being able to download proposal and report templates from the WizeHive portal. Users must visit another website to download templates.

WizeHive for Management
Aspetti positivi:
The WizeHive team was easy to work with and responsive to my questions and concerns. They did an excellent job of laying out the steps and processes for developing a robust grant management system, which will help our organization ensure strong controls for the deployment of public and private grant funds.
Aspetti negativi:
The setup process was easy - if you have some level of technical knowledge and an idea of what sort of processes to put into place. We were building our processes at the same time we were developing the system with WizeHive and that made things a bit difficult.
Straightforward and not overwhelming

I’m someone who struggles with technology and our Wizehive project contact made all my worries disappear. She was very knowledgeable and not intimidating at all. There was room for questions and learning how to use Wizehive was really easy.

The one thing we liked the least was that there were some very minor things that we could not customize but it didn’t affect the overall outcome.
New Grant System Goes Live

Customer Support is CRUCIAL

I most liked the immense amount of customer support our team received in the process of creating our WizeHive programs. This customer support allowed our team to understand the many ways we could uniquely customize this platform to suit our needs.
Aspetti negativi:
Some of the back-end creation processes were difficult for our team to manage and learn at first. But with the encouragement and support of the customer service professionals, we managed well. WizeHive takes some getting used to from a user-perspective, but with consistent use and practice, it becomes much more doable.

We are just getting into the system as a way of automating the process used to judge contest entries for an annual awards program. It shows great potential to make things a lot easier for administrators as well as our judging panel.

Rapidly Customizable & Scalable Solution with Endless Possibilities

1. Implement an idea into a fully functional solution in Production within minutes. 2. Correct and modify configurations with clients and end-users in real-time. 3. Designed to empower system owners and administrators to meet the demands of their clients and super users. 4. Ongoing system upgrades and enhancements to improve configuration capabilities of the system and user experience. 5. Direct and quick customer support when built in Help & FAQ aren't able to answer questions.

While the system's capabilities to scale are incredible, there are some missing features or issues that haven't been addressed yet that would add a greater measure of use by both Administrators and end users. - Unable to conditionally require Date fields to be before or after another Date field - End users are unable to print/save full applications once completed. (Review Portals only recently received this capability) - Workspaces (Databases), are unable to connect to each other to share data and improve reporting capabilities - Built-in Reporting Functionality, while extremely helpful, has limitations that cause it to be very bulky, restricted, and can make it difficult to use - Features and configurations can often be buried deep within menus and take time to navigate to - Unable to bulk upload or download attachments to or from records - Unable to send attachments by Bulk Email - Review Portal, user-directed configurations limited What is extremely important for the reader to understand from my items listed above is that when you have a system that is capable of achieving almost all of your business needs and opens the door to a million possibilities, it can become incredibly frustrating when small or specific aspects of the system are not capable of being configured or scaled. It is the give and take of using an incredible configuration management system. Once you get used to having the ability to configure almost anything you want, its hard not to want even more!
