The sole purpose that Manager Plus was selected was due to its supposed ability to integrate with Sage 300.
Since purchasing the software, no one from the Sage Integration Team responds to anything. We are paying for a product that doesn't do as claimed.

Best management software on the market
Commenti: Plenty of room to grow into the program. All the modules integrate seamlessly with each other. Cloud based Mobility. Customer service. From small user to large, something for all. Good value.

Best asset management software in the market

We like how we can see everything in 1 place, makes everything easier and not have to switch to multiple platforms to get the information we need. use it for asset management, track inventory, manage vendors, putting in work requests - takes away the time consuming admin tasks.
Aspetti negativi:
Bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it it’s so beneficial for the company.

The software works well. Set up was difficult. Accounts payables has issues.

I like the software and its capabilities. I have used the software 10+ years and recently switched to Lightning from Classic.
Aspetti negativi:
It's nearly impossible to talk to a person. Our contact person for set up would take several days or weeks to reply.We are still having issues with Manager Plus accounts payable for 6+ months with our original renewal quote not being honored. A difference of $225.00.
Wouldn't Reccoment

It was fairly easy to learn once we were actually able to not have to use the Classic version and the newer version together

The workorders and invoices are difficult for customers to read. I can't get the odometer reading on the invoice or the "concerns" for the repairs, so i have to print out both the workorder AND the invoice together in order to utilize both sets of info together. I think this is ridiculous. I don't like the way the view within a workorder. To me, each "concern" should be in its own spot with all of its info, notes, parts, attachments all together. In this program Everything is collapsed and you have to click into each different task or concern in order to see what was done it it. And you have to assign parts to just one task. You cannot use 10 bolts for an exhaust and then 4 for the engine area area because you cannot have a part listed more than once on a workorder or invoice, otherwise it will duplicate over and over again. It would be fine if it highlighted or flagged it so you take notice to the fact that you have the same part more than once but it shouldn't halt it from happening. The viewing of past workorders isn't conducive for accomplishing anything quickly either. Plus, i have to have 10 different tabs open at all times in order to go back and forth between all of the different areas. Also, anywhere that you are allowed to add a note "into a part, an asset, really anything aside from a workorder, there should be a notification that alerts you that there is something to look at there, otherwise how would anyone know to look there for pertinent info?

Great Product/Very little support
Commenti: I have been using Manager plus since 1998, they have made great improvements to their product over the years, but the customer service unfortunately has gotten worse. Having to listen to dogs barking and kids crying in the background when your needing help is very frustrating and unprofessional. Getting told over and over that what you need is very simple to do, and they will get back to you right away with a solution and then never hearing back from them again seems to be the norm there. I have been trying to get help with a report for over 6 months now and all I get is unfulfilled promises. Honesty I'm not even sure were to go with it anymore.

I like how we can track and maintain all of our assets very easily even at multiple locations. Purchase order feature also allows us to easily track parts cost and keep are inventory accurate. using the mobile app for all are fueling logs has made it easy to keep track of mileages and fuel logs accurately and up to date.
Aspetti negativi:
The worst part of manager plus is making reports. There is allot of information stored in manager plus that needs to be put into different reports. The report feature is nice and easy to use but lacks all the needed information you sometimes need, and the BI feature is extremely hard to use and navigate through, and getting help from manager plus with it is almost impossible.

Commenti: Worst software i have ever used. I used to be a programmer and have a computer science degree, and i have never used anything like your software, if I were you, i would be embarrassed by what you put out.

I cannot think of a single thing that your software does that I can't do with a simple spreadsheet.

Too many to list, and i know you won't do anything about them, so why waste time? I called your tech support 3 times and I knew more about the software and its issues than they did. For some reason our management is buying the next version of it when the last version has been a disaster.
Manager Plus Review from a Food Production Standpoint
Commenti: Overall the system is easy to understand if you go through the training courses. Im also walking into this system with most things in place so of course its easier for me. But its easy enough to create work orders, super easy to create inspections to cover everything you need. The inventory management is simple. Overall very happy that we decided to go this direction in management system.

The software is easy to use, its easy to schedule, easy to create work orders, easy to track inventory, easy to keep track of all info about assets and parts all in one place.
Aspetti negativi:
I may have missed them but I feel like their should be options for customized drop down tabs. I would love if techs could start their own work order and select an asset and then select options from a customized tab about what applies to their work order. Its also difficult to track downtime. Techs are often on the floor and working on multiple things that are going down all in one day. They cant stop each time and create a work order for it. They should be able to open up a downtime form and select various assets through out the day adding in reasons and total time down that would then be tracked and separated by asset.
Meant for vehicle fleets, but widely applicable

Inventory management is not as user friendly, accessible, or well rounded as we were hoping for. That being said, we still have a lot of implementation to do.

It's relatively easy to figure out the software program.

It isn't easy to drop a scheduled event when the item is no longer in use. So you can't eliminate the workorder only make it inactive.

Awesome program and customer support.
Commenti: Overall my experience has been great. got me up to speed on everything i needed and keeps my preventive maintenace up to date.

Program is very easy to navigate through. The support I got to transfer from one cmms to the other was great.
Aspetti negativi:
The only thing that bugs me is when I print out my WO's is I have to do it one at a time and adjust the size everytime.

Decent software but has issues

We are unable to manually edit inventory and can get no support now, making the software useless.

Not user friendly
Commenti: Our company uses ManagerPlus to submit tickets for IT or Maintenance issues. I often submit tickets which go unresolved for a long time. There is no communication from the team I request from to advise if they are working on the ticket, no updates, etc. I have had tickets disappear and have to re-submit them. Overall I don't think this program is very useful. A checklist on a chalkboard would be more functional.

The update makes it much easier to input the information I need to submit a ticket to my IT or maintenance teams

The functionality of this program seems lacking from my perspective. I am not on a team that uses this often, however I have to use it to communicate to those teams. I feel that it is a lot of work with very little communication regarding the follow up from those teams.
Managerplus Pro - Seems left behind by the company

The product works adequately for us for asset tracking, work orders and logs. We never implemented use of their purchasing or inventory modules.
We purchased this software in about 2012. Ever since, there have been few updates for it, and none in the last couple of years. The company is moving away from this and towards a cloud-based CMMS, and the lack of significant upgrades to this product reflect that.
We contacted them about switching to their cloud-based product, and they never even bothered to respond to us, so we are now looking at other products.

Inability to sort numbered assets properly. (eg: 1, 11, 12, 2 instead of 1, 2, 11, 12) Once a top level asset is created, it cannot be placed as a sub-asset under another top level asset. We expanded to more than one facility and had no option to change the asset tree to reflect our company growth. Rather than completely re-write our database from scratch, we left it as is, and it is a bit of a mess now. It does not support nested assets. Search function works poorly. Searching for an asset with 'forklift' in the name returns 0 results, yet we have over 40 forklifts in the system. Unless you pay the big bucks for the enterprise edition, almost nothing in the UI is customizable.
Great product and support
Commenti: The mobile platform allows my team to take the power of Manager Plus with them out into the plant.

We are on the 4,4,5 budgeting system and that is not an option at this time when using the budget module.
