Most Suitable and easy to understand Accounting Software

Commenti: My experience with tally Prime has been where good in fact excellent, it is easy to understand without any accounting knowledge, It makes Financial Reporting and inventory management easy. And in terms of Invoice creation is better than any Software's in the market.

Aspetti positivi:

Tally Prime is much easy to understand and record your transactions than any other software in the market.It has various shortcuts and predefined letters which makes your task faster, its integration with other software's makes it one of the best for Tax computation and Financial Reporting.

Aspetti negativi:

The UI of the software is old school which makes it too rigid, There is many Factors in which it needs to improve but Updates are not that often.It becomes difficult to use when you have enter bulk entry's at the same time if internal working is not known.

TallyPrime is a waste of Time

Commenti: Waste of time. I had to migrate out of it to Quickbooks, Zoho, etc. as it works super slow in my system, since I migrated to Tally Prime!

Few integration with other softwares & sound accounting features integrated.

Aspetti negativi:

1. No automation. In fact, to get automation, you need to pay someone to build, develop, implement & learn how to automate for each and every new automation you want! 2. Hangs a lot and the cloud version is designed to make money, not to sell the product! 3. A lot of good features are now obsolete. They haven't designed the product to upgrade with the digital world. 4. Bad UI/UX for a person who doesnt understand how accounting works. It's designed to discourage people, who do not know about accounting, not to pursue it!

Tally prime is the best software for inventory management.

Commenti: Construction field is the most critical field than others. It is most difficult to track the materials.Tally prime gives implementation each category of inventory management that easily track the data and show in Details.I like to work in future also.

Before I used tally erp9 , but Tally prime is great version. Easy to used in each Details exports in options are available. In Tally erp9 create purchase order narration not available but Tally prime the options is available.

Aspetti negativi:

Narration is the best option easy to identify of each products I like to this option in available that can easy to work in my inventory management.

Commenti: It is positive. Its online back up solutions is wonderful feature as it can reinstall those data from its back up solutions. It depends upon modern computing so that it can run in multiple computers. Most of the functions of Tally are there and in addition to this some of more functions such as the same shortcuts and after working with TallyPrime for some days then one can be acquainted with it, and while working with multiple computers the real time data updates is quite fast and secure/

Excellent invoicing and accounting software, precious inventory management software, excellent in GST calculation and proper management of Banking credit and debit management software.

Aspetti negativi:

For GST information addition, one needs to do some calculations with offline calculator addition as it is not automated calculations through TallyPrime, but after putting these informations to TallyPrime, then overall calculations becomes simple. TallyPrime does not work in Wireless connectivity but it works through LAN connections. So in order to use in multiple computers wireless data transmission within computers should be made available.

The most likeable of this software is the usage and reliability of this software towards daily use in businesses. We can design this software so easily to meet all of our business needs. We can use this software from Issuing quotations to placing orders to suppliers and delivering those orders to customers. We can keep track of all transactions.

Aspetti negativi:

There are no such cons of this software, but what I like least is that there is lack of interface to this software. we cannot change the display or views of reports.

Yes, I would recommend to Tally Solutions to get back function of Schedule-3 of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account for all Public and Private Limited companies. Whereas in Tally ERP.9 we used converted our Financials easily as per Schedule- 3 of Companies Act, 2013. So in Tally Prime this function is missing.

It is very easy to use and can be used by anyone who knows the basic accounting rules. Ledger creation in tally is very simple.Tally Erp 9 is very user friendly and can be used in small as well as corporate business enterprises because it has a lot of features. Any one can set it's features as per their requirements.Multi companies can be created and GST consultants and Auditors can easily take statutory reports and file GST returns through Tally Erp 9 very quickly.

Aspetti negativi:

When we use remote control feature sometimes it takes more time. Statutory reports can be taken slowly if there is company with huge data.

Best for GST registered users in India

Commenti: Customer support is really too bad, many times you will not get connected via phone support and email support is very worst, reply will be after a week.

GST implementation is really appreciated, some bad marks are you cannot control or lock the previous date invoice numbers which is very important for GST registered users, if your configuration of numbering is automatic the if you change any one number in between all the invoices will be affected, It should not be happen after filing GSTR1 report.

Aspetti negativi:

Reporting mechanism is fantastic, accuracy, front end look and excel export are awesome. More than that filtering options are really helpful to generate custom reports to submit the reports to management or higher authorities.

Commenti: We were able to deliver data in it's correct form that helped many sellers to understand their profit, their taxes, their stock out graphs which in-turn helped them understand and concentrate their business fall and rise from time to time and immensely helped them to sell more only those products which sells more. Helped in understanding their profit margins. Helped in catching where they were getting charged more and how to reduce that. We were able to help sellers in maintaining proper record which is legitimate according to govt policies as well thus giving them a smooth day to day experience of accounting and inventory management.

Commenti: Since my work is straight-forward, I don't require any customizations but yes integration to the tax-regimes is a must which Tally has already deployed in its upgrades and would continue to do so in it's future releases. Extremely fast and responsive once you get accustomed to using it. I've been using Tally for the past 6 years now and no complaints whatsoever. Cheers!

Tally has made it extremely easy for me to move from old tax regime to GST. Allows me to custom-view sales and purchase data based on my requirements and generate various reports on a daily/weekly/monthly/yearly basis as required.

It's a bit costly and it takes time to get accustomed to the User-Interface. Also customization is very limited so if you're in requirement of a scalable tool that allows you to customize its utility, you should look for other accounting tools.

Now that tally has been in the market for more than 3 decades, it must perform in accordance with the current market conditions. Need to handle large company accounts, add advanced features, improve graphics, and provide high-end customer support. Tally prime requires more compatibility than other accounting software.

Commenti: I started using Tally as an audit assistant. One thing about this sw is that, once you start using it, you get addicted to it. The short cuts make it just too simple. You can raise invoices and the entries get updated automatically.

With respect to all the statutory compliances, Tally incorporates all the features as per the relevant Act. Whether it is GST or TDS, Tally makes it easy to prepare reports and file returns.

Aspetti negativi:

It is very difficult to use multi user on wifi. We need LAN connection for multi user. Else it tends to get very slow. In this day and age when wifi has taken over the world by storm. This is one great backlog.

Very fast, adaptive, it has lot of settings which suits our needs, they also give support under warranty period. Overall an accounting software which made for Indian market, we are used to tally, we can not adjust in any other software.

Not collaborative, very difficult to setup on remote desktop. no cloud option

This application is having multiple benefits from the aspects such as purchase, sales, inventory management, accounting and finance, manufacturing and payroll management. Remind letters can be drafted through the application for the outstanding customers. Easy to calculate business ratios. Inventory management module help organization to maintain proper stock levels and make purchase decisions on time. Arrears salary calculations, salary revisions and pay slip generation through the pay roll module. Customizations can easily be done as per the requirement of the users. Easy for the beginners to understand. Data in the application can easily be exported to the PDF and excel formats.

The software is having following drawbacks. User interface of the application is not that much attractive for the users. It is difficult to work with multiple windows.
