Thanks for the feedback on using Firmex for RFP's, always great to hear clients feedback with their specific use case. Currently the UI/UX has some updates but we are working on completing the rest of the platform to give it a more modern look and feel.

Great to hear your experience with the ease of use and intuitiveness of the platform. As for uploads, without knowing how many GBs and files you were uploading it is difficult to better understand the needs. We offer full 24/7 support to any user involved in the data room, therefore if you have any issues such as upload speed they can do some tests on your behave to enhance this experience.

Thanks for the feedback. As for your issue downloading files with a watermark, there could be a couple instances of why this is happening but without further details I can only speculate. For security reasons, only users themselves can download files with watermark as the watermark is specific to each user. However, if you don't see an option to download files outside of our view as feature, please ensure download is enabled as both office & PDF files can be downloaded with watermarks. Having used a lot of different VDRs, Firmex is a no nonsense platform with amazing customer support. Unbeatable for the price and features. The platform is extremely easy to use and has all the features needed to run a deal from A to Z. The "view as" feature is amazing for bankers looking to review their VDR before opening it up to clients.

No Q&A function. If Firmex implemented a Q&A feature like Datasite, that would be awesome since this is a game changer for running processes

Thanks for the feedback, really like your comment about no nonsense type platform. As for Q&A, we do offer that functionality and is a feature enabled upon request. We see not a lot of deals in North America utilize this feature compared to what our EMEA team sees within their deals. It's incredibly intuitive, easy to set up, and has all the functionality of the more expensive dataroom sites. The flat cost is a huge benefit as well, I use it for every deal I'm a part of.

Not much to complain about to be honest. It has all the features you need, is easier to use than other sites, and is less expensive.

Commenti: I really appreciate Firmex being so easy to use.

I like how easy it is to share documents with our working group, which comprises of banks, lawyers and their client.
Aspetti negativi:
Honestly, we can do without the "No." column. I tried turning it off, but it would still be present in the dataroom. Our documents are named with numbers in front of them. So the extra No. column can be confusing.

Firmex Virtual Data Room is Excellent

Firmex allowed the PureTech team to work quickly and efficiently, while ensuring that our files were secure.
Aspetti negativi:
As a user of the virtual data room, I did not appreciate that Firmex shows every time someone edits, replaces, uploads a new file. Although this makes sense, it calls attention to certain documents if things have changed.

Great to hear that the team was able to work quickly on your project. As for the showing of information and upload updates, I believe this is via our email notifications which can be adjusted to a frequency you are more comfortable with such as once a day or once a week instead of hourly or immediate.

As for the bells and whistle features that we don't have compared to some legacy high end providers, that is where the price differential comes into play. We don't bill per page as well as price gouge our clients. We offer a top tier platform that does over 20,000 data rooms a year which is the most in the industry.

Firmex is easy to use and is a safe and secure space for confidential information to be stored and shared.
Aspetti negativi:
the search function when adding users to the vdr can be iffy at times. I find it won't always find the person(s) I'm looking for even though they are in the data base.

Excellent Customer Service

It is easy to use and a great tool for my company to help share documents. The customer service is excellent if there is ever a problem. The 24/7 customer service is a great security blanket to have knowing that a solution to any problem is available any time of day.

Renaming and organizing documents once they are already in the data room can be a time consuming task at times.

Thanks for the feedback on how easy and intuitive the platform is based on your user experience. As for renaming we have the ability to do this where other providers do not, therefore you have to delete the content and rename locally before reuploading. We have the ability to bulk move documents within a folder into another folder, as well as copy/move from data room to data room.

The download zip structure can be improved or at least the user guide explaining it can include Q&A or frequently asked section. The multiple zip file structure is a bit confusing.

Thanks for the feedback, as it's always great to hear when a client gives you a 10 out of 10. Currently we are in the process of improving our zip file download structure for bulk downloads. This will increase the limit from 5 GB to 20 GB in order to eliminate any confusion as outlined when doing a bulk download from the platform.

Easy navigation throughout site. Emails sent directly if / when incorrect file was uploaded.
Aspetti negativi:
None that I have seen so far. Do like the option to switch from one project to another (i.e. one legacy Credit Union to another, as we have merged with multiple legacy CU's)

We appreciate the feedback on the platform and the area you highlight being able to toggle between projects is a feature that is available through our global login page or through our unlimited data room subscription option. Majority of VDR providers make you login through independent and separate site URLs, which is cumbersome as well as having to remember multiple different passwords or credentials at times.
