Very good software, essential to our business

Commenti: I spent a great deal of time researching POS/Asset allocation systems and came accross BRM a few years ago. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] sorted us out and we have used it ever since. It seems to have grown much larger which is great too see. Great for small firm and larger fleets. We have 50-100 bikes dependent on season and works well, they have scope for larger fleets 1000+ too I understand.

So much customization and features available, we use only a small amount of the functionality. Online Booking, Digital Waivers, Mechanics records, Rental Bike Allocation- its all there. It is integral to how our systems operate and we love it. We can accurately see how many rental bikes we have available, or hired out (and to who). Reports with statistics great too- as well as customers signing in on Tablets. We have recently moved our Online Booking to Bike Rental Manager (was with Rezdy before) but have made it work with BRM and it is great, can highly recommend. We also link it with Lightspeed POS system which is helpful.

Aspetti negativi:

Not a huge amount. New features sometimes take a bit of getting used to for the staff, but it is all there to make the system better so we lean to roll with it (and of course it is actually better than the older version)

Commenti: Customer service is very responsive and helpful. The system also has a lot of step-by-step explanations and tutorials for common issues and questions.

Aspetti positivi:

BRM has been really helpful at helping me manage last minute bike reservations, which used to be the most stressful part of my job. Now setting up reservations and charging people is quick and easy.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish there were more flexibility for complicated reservations, like if a person switches bikes partway through a rental I actually have to create two separate reservations for each set of dates, and that gets tricky if the person is part of a family with other bikes in the reservation. Sometimes BRM can't accommodate weird but common situations like that.

Commenti: Very positive- in use - development and excellent real person back up.

This software is easy to use on it's own.However, all of the 4 main software/ products we use have their own individual "logic process line and terminology" which doesn't always cross over which can be frustrating for new users.

Bit slow at times when using - although not sure if this is our connection etc

BRM is an excellent tool

Commenti: Very happy with the program and beyond impressed with the customer service. I'd especially like to say that I hope the CS agents are paid generously for the work they do. They are the reason I am sold on this service. Without them, I'd shop around more. Program is great, but a work in progress, as all computer programs are. Having excellent CS is what keeps customers.

We could not function as effectively as we are without it. BRM manages our rental fleet very well, and gives me a ton of tools to manage the bikes.

Aspetti negativi:

I would like to see a feature to record bike services for customer bikes, not just our rental fleet maintenance records.

Commenti: The overall experience is very good.

The whole package is easy to use and set-up. I like the fact that you don't have to compromise too many processes and business fits because it has been developed by someone who understand equipment rental.

Aspetti negativi:

the hardest part was getting used to everything it can do. A bit more hand-holding in the set-up would be good. We really need some help with scheduling delivery slots as we do more of this side than walk-ins

BRM is just what we need to make online rental bookings easy for our customers. They can see everything they need to see at a glance and going through the rental booking process is intuitive. The back of the house operation is intuitive and powerful as well.

There is some confusion about "capacity" and individual items. It is not 100% perfect. We come across an issue or bug or limitation from time to time but make sure we communicate it with our customer support person, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], so we can resolve it asap.

Admin user experience could be improved in places, but we are seeing improvements on a regular basis Would like to see integration with third party booking (booking.com, tripadvisor, airbnb etc.)

Commenti: It was really a tool to get online booking live for us. Havent used a lot of the other functionality yet but that will come in time. Overall its been very good for a small business and looks to have good potential as we grow.

Pretty easy to set up and use "out of the box" - I didn't want to have to become a software developer and BRM was pretty easy to implement for someone who isnt an IT person.

Aspetti negativi:

Processing payments is a bit confusing. For a smaller fleet, I had to use workarounds to manage our inventory as i wanted to. Reservations view isnt really compatible with a laptop screen.

Five stars across the board for good reason!

Commenti: BRM has taken what was a menial and time consuming task and streamlined it into a simple and flexible platform that puts convenience at your fingertips and time back on the clock. Their software is easy to learn and has helped push my rental business to the next level. It's allowed me to easily integrate the choices both my clients and I need directly through my site and thus the power in the hands of the consumer. For rental businesses such as mine BRM has been the single best decision I've ever made. It's that efficient! Not only is the platform user friendly but the service behind it is second to none. BRM has always been both quick and thorough with their responses to any of my inquiries and issues. They listen and adapt. You can't ask for more than that! BRM is Paris Bike Co's solution and should be yours too. Thanks BRM!!!

I can finally stop pulling my hair out!

Commenti: BRM has allowed me to take all the information I used to juggle around in my old calendars, spreadsheet (and brain...argh!) and feed it into a very powerful tool that lets me focus on providing a great service to my rental customers. The developers are ever-improving the software and provide excellent and timely customer service. Now that BRM is integrated with Lightspeed Retail, revenue is streamlined with our retail bike store. Many thanks to the BRM team!!

Commenti: BRM is simple and easy to use and is the efficient way of managing your bike rental system. I have found that for a small rental company out in the pacific, it makes monitoring and managing inventory hassle free and the customer service and technical assistance is beautiful - screenshot your problem with an email to them and they respond instantly.
