Commenti: Netsuite di Oracle è un sistema molto evoluto. Una sfida, questo software integrato su cloud semplifica il controllo generale delle attività. E' un pò come veder crescere la propria azienda

Attualmente uso Oracle NetSuite per pianificare le risorse della mia azienda di famiglia.I miei collaboratori hanno trovato semplice e di grande aiuto inserire direttamente il lavoro che stavano facendo ed erano cosi in grado autonomamente di verificare il processo lavorativo. Molto Utile.

Aspetti negativi:

Il fatto che i collaboratori possano agire un'pò troppo autonomamente sul processo lavorativoperò genera confusione. Alle volte si deve contattare l'amministratore e chiedere il permesso, e rischi di "perderti"Il servizio assistenza è efficiente, il problema in certe circostanze può richiedere molto tempo per essere risolto. Forse "tutto il sistema" avrebbe bisogno di più assistenza personalizzata . Anche a pagamentro.

Alternative considerate: Workday HCM

Perché scegliere NetSuite: La nostra azienda aveva un sistema"dedicato" diventato chiaramente obsoleto e che poco "parlava" con tutti i reparti della azienda.Ormai è quasi due anni che siamo passati NetSuite come nostro software ERP.

software molto buono a mio avviso , permette di svolgere molte funzione in automazione e di conseguenza permette di ottimizzare le tempistiche

uno dei punti critici è il prezzo che per molti può sembrare inaccessibile ,e per ultimo credo che la varietà di funzione rende difficile a prendere facilmente le funzioni

La possibilità di avere molte facoltà di editing e soprattutto di avere una visione globale e dettagliata dei costi in termini di budget e spese richieste

Aspetti negativi:

Qualche leggero rallentamento nel caricamento dei dati; delle volte si rischia di perdere troppo tempo nella ricerca di un dato specifico

Software intuitivo ma non tanto

Bisogna fare delle ricerche prima di ritrovarsi bloccato in un contratto con un gruppo di dipendenti fuorvianti che non risponderanno nemmeno alla mia e-mail

It is a great ERP but it is not for everyone

Netsuite has a lot of potential when automating processes. It is a great ERP for big Companies or big startups.

There is not much literature about netsuite or learning material. Because of this, you are trapped with Consultants. Sometimes you might get lucky but sometimes no. I had both experienceThe ERP is complex to implement. It has become popular in the startup world but it´s complexity does not make it ideal for everyone. Yes. the potential is great but you really need to do a good research before jumping to implement this ERP

New User of NetSuite

Commenti: Our business has had a very positive experience with the implementation of NetSuite. One of the Finance Teams main KPI's is to be able to deliver month end board pack with in 5 business days which we are now able to consistently achieve.

Aspetti positivi:

NetSuite is a very easy program to use, the work flow is very intuitive and we have been able to integrate it to other systems we have already had in place. The amount and variety of training offered to us pre and post go live is beyond any platform I have used in the past. I believe there is great benefit in the focus on best practice and not customising every aspect of the software. We used the NetSuite team for our implementation and Sen and the team were excellent to deal with. They listened to our concerns and came up with solutions. By encouraging us to learn how to use the system ad how to use the learning resource available we are able to make small improvements and changes to our system with out having to engage a consultant, saving our business time and money.

Aspetti negativi:

NetSuite comes with a wide variety of module addons. There is not a clear map of what these are. If we were more aware of these we could have added additional modules at implementation.

Alternative considerate: BlackLine, SYSPRO, SAP Business One e Xero

Perché scegliere NetSuite: Tencia was a desktop platform with limited features. It was difficult to trace transactions and have confidence in the data output.

Perché passare a NetSuite: Other companies just quoted us a standard fee with out getting to know and understand out business. NetSuite Sales team first got to know our business and tailed a solution around what we did and what we wanted the product to do. We then felt the proposal they put together had true value. The sales team was very informative on the implementation process and the volume of hours that would be require by our team to facilitate a smooth go live process.

NetSuite System OK, NetSuite SuiteSuccess Implementation AWFUL

Commenti: Overall, the NetSuite Staff and project teams will make promises the can't deliver on. They will do anything to make the sale regardless of whether they are the right solution for your business.Then, when it came time for implementation, they make you sign these aggressive terms and conditions. When we had questions on them, it delayed our project team 4 MONTHS because their legal team could not explain their own terms.The software is also INCREDIBLY slow. The NetSuite team will try to upsell you once you discover this to increase your speed but they will not let you "test" the speed before agreeing to a 12 month contract.There also also a good amount of native limitations. Examples include, inability to get a vendor payment register showing the original amount, discount taken, and amount paid. Inability to take a discount exclusive of freight on vendor bills. Sales and Use tax limitations. The system can NOT handle use tax and you need to either script or purchase a plugin to get sales taxes to calculate correctly. Copy pasting data/ tabels to print on html pdf prints, etc.

The reporting functionalities and general business flow of transaction processing is good

Aspetti negativi:

Sales Team Made Promises they can't deliver! During our initial review of the ERP systems, we went over all of our business processes with the NetSuite Sales Team and even provided process flowcharts and showed them what our system does. They were confident NetSuite could do all of that and more for us. However, when we went to implement, they fell short on SO MANY accounts. Basic things, like copy/pasting information info estimate forms and having them print with images are NOT possible with native functionalities.AVOID SuiteSuccess for implementation!! They are a cookie cutter implementation team and will not assist outside the most basic scope no matter what the sales team tells you. They basically just turn it on for you. Any specific things you may need for your business are considered customizations and you will be charged more for them. They had some very inexperienced staff assigned to our account that did things like missed MAJOR configuartion settings (making depts and locations required and fulfillments across periods), named native GL accounts differently so you wouldn't know why things were auto posting to the wrong account, did not review all print forms or assist in set-up, did not explain the GL impacts of different item types or how projects worked. They also did not assist with go-live data import AT ALL. You would be so much better off using a consultant. AVOID SUITESUCCESS.Software also has various quirky limitations. Do your research on reddit.

Alternative considerate: Sage 300cloud e Acumatica Cloud ERP

Perché passare a NetSuite: Seemed like the best out of the box solution which was not the case. Still required INTENSE customization.

Start-up to growth business

Commenti: TIme now saved in running reports to make better and improved decisions. With our previous system we had reached the limit of its capabilites but with NetSuite we know there is plenty more features and functions that we are not currently utilising, for us to take advantage of as our business continues to grow.

THe amount of time I now save executing reports. My previous system I used to spend 80% of my time creating data sets and only 20% utilising, now this is the other way around.

Aspetti negativi:

We are a small business and it took a lot of our resource to implement. The partner we were paired with to do the initial implementation had little to no experience working with a business similar to ours which was challenging at times. We ended up hiring in a specialist project manager with NetSuite experience to support our integration which I would recommend.

Balanced ERP solution

Commenti: We've been able to accelerate our key business functions including Finance (accounting close is much faster), Operations (inventory is much more accurate), and Sales (customer orders and invoices are automated through EDI).

- Ability to scale all of our major business functions, particularly Operations and Finance- Integrations with our subledgers (e.g. Coupa)- Automation opportunities such as EDI and workflows

Aspetti negativi:

- Warehouse Management (WMS) leaves a lot to be desired- Customization can be expensive, but thankfully we have not needed much

Perché passare a NetSuite: NetSuite was the most balanced platform between "new and innovative" while still having the robust features of a proven ERP in the marketplace. Some of its competitors had a more modern UX but didn't have the full stack Finance + Operations capabilities.

To further streamline the process of importing Magento orders into NetSuite, we make use of the NetSuite Connector.

All of your accounting requirements can be met by using Netsuite. It's perfect for a wide variety of enterprises because it meets their varied requirements. Cloud computing alleviates storage concerns, which is especially useful for small businesses.

Aspetti negativi:

Netsuite has a wide variety of features, which is wonderful; yet, due to its high degree of personalization, operating it effectively calls for a high level of software literacy. Hours of instruction are needed to learn how to use all of the features effectively.

Netsuite - track, control and grow businesses

Commenti: Notably, for security, NetSuite provides multi-level user permissions, allowing dashboards and reports to be visible only to specific roles, such as managers and above. One of its outstanding features is the integration of client billing with time sheets, a very important function that helps in financial audits and eliminates the need to use multiple applicatons.

NetSuite is one of the best operational flow managers I've tested, it offers a robust solution for inventory management, allows for detailed tracking of items across multiple locations, a significant improvement over older systems that had limited capabilities. The platform also excels at customizaton, allowing users to customize dashboards and reports for specific needs. You can incorporate various elements such as lists, search forms, recent records, and trend charts to create a dashboard that works for every need.

Aspetti negativi:

Using NetSuite has been a mixed experience for me. While comprehensve, the platform's loading time is frustratingly slow, especially when it comes to the timesheet approval workflow and custom report generation. This slowness affects our entire organization. Also, the complexity of the software requires formal training sessions, which can be a hurdle for new users. To top it off, there is no trial version available and the subscription plans are quite expensive.

Netsuite- scale the administration of your company

Commenti: The interface itself is incredibly easy to use; It took me a very short time to get a good grasp of how it all works. Furthermore, it is cost-effective and serves as a comprehensive system for managing various facets of the business. In short, NetSuite makes running our entire business more efficient and agile.

Aspetti positivi:

I have been using NetSuite for quite some time and can say that it is a very good platform that has transformed the way we manage our business operations. What I like the most is how everything is consolidated in one place: inventory, orders, invoices and customer data. This saves us the hassle of logging into multiple systems to get real-time information. The software connects seamlessly with our bank allowing for batch uploding for payments, approving invoices in bulk is another time saver and the option to customize reports by adding additional columns gives us the flexibility we need.

Aspetti negativi:

The negative points are: its cost increases every year, and the customer service is not very good, it needs to improve and be more trained.

Pros and Cons - Don't fall for their sale pitch

Commenti: - The implementation has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. The sales team pushes for a sale that does not include all the client's needs, resulting in the need for change orders which causes delays. -The implementation team is friendly and proactive but inexperienced/ with little supervision - I can tell they are working hard to find solutions for me, but they seem to be scrambling to figure things out without proper help/ and experienced person in the team. - They have a tendency to promise things they are not able to deliver - for example, they sold me a 3-way match solution that they were not able to deliver it. Their excuse is that it wasn't working because of the partial receipt feature we need. Still, to me it is a very serious issue if they are selling things they can't deliver. - Lastly, as it relates to reviews that you can't customize NetSuites, the truth is, you might be able to, but it will most likely be out of your scope. Although the change order may not be extremely pricey, the delays on the project may be extensive. And I'm not talking about 'unique customization' - I would think blanket POs/ partial receipts, 3-way match would be included in the original sales of a client that made extremely clear that the Procure to Pay module was the most important module to them.

- The software allows for some visual customization of the home page based on each role that is easy to do without the help of a programmer. For example, customize the views for each roles, set up alerts, etc. - The search bar within the software works extremely well, which makes it easier to navigate; - The use of the software is intuitive and easy to follow/ learn; - The SuiteAnswers articles are very helpful in answering questions/ showing how to do anything one may need in the system.

Aspetti negativi:

Before selecting this software, I read several reviews saying the biggest issue was the how difficult it was to customize the software. Here are some actual examples: 1. If you want a new field (which they call segment) to be tracked for reporting purposes, you need to create a costume segment, which wont be part of the basic product the sales team sells to you. Also, just found out that it can not created as a mandatory field. 2. All NetSuite modules are standard/ out of the box. Even though we emphasized that Procure to Pay was the absolutely most important module to us, the sales team pushed the basic procure to pay module, which did not include Blanket POs or 3-way match. The thing is the sales team pushes the basic solutions to close the sale, but then later you are stuck having to process change orders, which although are not very expensive, each take about 2 weeks to process, delaying the project. 3. After delaying our project to include 3-way match and blanket POs (2-week delay), the implementation issues begun. It turns out that the 3-way match that they sold to us does NOT work. What the system was able to do is a 2-way match. Also, the system does not allow for an approval flow for releases of blanked POs. Lastly, the costume segment can not be a mandatory field as it doesn't work on blanket PO releases. In Summary - The sales team will push their most simple out of the box version, upgrades result in delays.

100% Cloud Based Solution from the start

Commenti: Great overall experience with the software. We have found it to be easy to use, its configurable to meet our needs and a solution we can grow with. Overall good value, reasonably low cost feature rich completely cloud based ERP system.

Aspetti positivi:

Product is completely cloud based and easy to use. Updates to software are automatic and painless. Do not need an IT Staff to support it. We've been using for 8 years and haven't needed any dedicated full-time IT staff. Features are rich and it is highly customizable to meet your company's needs.

Aspetti negativi:

Owned by Oracle now. Cost keeps increasing.

New to Netsuite 4 years ago - recommend over SAP alternative

Commenti: We use Netsuite everyday for everything from procure-to-pay to order-to-cash, as well as other general accounting functions (journal entries, inventory management, budgeting, etc). Our experience has been good and I think Netsuite is a great value for the money compared to competitors that I've used in the past.

Aspetti positivi:

I previously used SAP in addition to smaller and more dated ERP systems. I think Netsuite is a great value for the money, especially compared to SAP. The dashboards are nice and you can really get great value out of dashboard customization. Our implementation with the Netsuite team was a little rocky, and I think that the implementation team should work more with companies to see what's more valuable to them in order to guide users to dashboard and report customizations that will make their daily work easier and more efficient.

Aspetti negativi:

A lot of things aren't included in the main package and are available for purchase as an add-on. One example is the fixed asset module which, to me, should be included in the basic package. There are reports that I wished were more easily filtered within Netsuite, but we instead have to export them to Excel in order to filter them to the data we need. (This may be something customizable, but again, we weren't given much guidance on customizations and have worked through that on our own).

Commenti: its a very pleasant experience, because i use to work long ours before to day to day tasks and generate reports, now all information's are at finger tips at a click of a button

Aspetti positivi:

The ese of the dashboard arrangement and the easy and structured flow of information. Also have key information's related to my official e mail by Net Suite. Before use of Net suite we use to doo all supply chain coordination's and stock management, delivery issuing, order tacking by semi Manuel and had too much paper work on a daily basis. Once net suite was implemented during transition period and now the process is at very much ease, also currently day to day work is easy and information's for conclusions are at finger tips. As a final word, our total supply chain and finance processing, including and warranty information's back tracking has become a very easy and structured process of ease.

Aspetti negativi:

I really cannot think of any cons, because our implementations team could always customize the s/w as our needs, so its a very smooth operation

One source of truth

Commenti: Our move to Netsuite was very smooth and allowed for us to transition with no downtime. Support has been outstanding and the ability to customize ourselves has been invaluable as we continue to make it our own.

Aspetti positivi:

NetSuite provided our once disjointed business with one single source of truth. All users now have access to an all around view of our customers making business decisions easier and allowing information to be readily available real time.

Aspetti negativi:

The standard inventory module is very standard - while allowing for multiple warehouse locations, item/bin location reporting can be tricky to create without advanced module.

Alternative considerate: SAP Business One

Perché scegliere NetSuite: Our systems were not integrated which required a lot of duplicate entries and mismatched information. Out teams only had part of the picture.
