Informazioni su Confluence
Confluence rende le informazioni accessibili all'intera organizzazione. Usalo per acquisire e conservare tutti i dati e gli aggiornamenti importanti.
It is a very practical and simple software, it is not necessary to invest a lot of time to learn how to use it. Its graphic interface is very friendly, it is very intuitive software.
Now I need to upload to google docs and import as google doc rather than word. The error messages sometimes are on the level of "something went wrong.

Great way to share content and track project goals and outcomes
Ottimo strumento per la collaborazione
Aspetti positivi:

Capace di condividere informazioni, ricercare know-how e condivisione documenti.
Aspetti negativi:
Interfaccia da migliorare in quanto basic. Editing del testo da rivedere.
Ottimo per la gestione dei flussi
Aspetti positivi:
Aspetti negativi:
Leggermente macchinoso nella navigazione
Confluence is a very famous product for project management.
Commenti: If you're new to it, you need to adapt. You also have a reluctance to tools that you haven't used before. But for effective projects and business management, you now have to use collaborative tools. You can get a better work environment by adapting quickly to the initial inconvenience.
Aspetti positivi:
Project management, output, work-specific human resources management, sharing and collaboration with all participants are important, and Confluence solves all these things at once. There are many services and solutions for efficient project management, but we always use Confluence.
Aspetti negativi:
Perhaps because it is mainly used for necessary functions, there are no disadvantages yet.
Robust Content Management Tool with lots of potential
Commenti: Overall, it is a great tool with really great features and different capabilities that have allowed my team to really lean into content management. Would recommend this to other companies!
Aspetti positivi:
Confluence is our go-to content management and knowledge based tool. The ability to create spaces by team or departments is really useful and my favorite feature is the ability to give permission by page instead of just by space. We have a main team focused on maintaining our knowledge base, but it's helpful that we can also assign unique individuals who are subject matter experts to also help that team update the content.
Aspetti negativi:
At times it feels like Confluence may be a bit too robust. It's a great content management system, but can sometimes over complicate a search for a particular page. It can take some time to locate the page you are looking because so many results pop up. You have to weed through the results to find the one you're seeking.
Confluence for documentation
Commenti: We use both Jira and confluence on our projects. Confluence was initially started on the project to replace word documents for programming specs and request. It was a mixed uptake due to higher learning curve over just word.
Aspetti positivi:
A adequate documentation system that can integrate with Jira issue/ticket system.
Aspetti negativi:
Not the best collaboration without adding in third party addins.
Knowledge Base as root
Commenti: It has a learning curve at the beginning. Still, later on, and not so long after, you will find yourself putting everything on confluence because it is easy, well-managed, and perfect for a platform where people can find documentation and information in a well-presented format.
Aspetti positivi:
Confluence is part of an already well-positioned and easy-to-implement ecosystem where multiple tools perform a specific job in a workflow. This makes it easy and friendly to set up and run; using information from other platforms like JIRA and Bitbucket, everything comes together in an excellent and organized way without much effort.
Aspetti negativi:
It might be overwhelming at first; there are plenty of options and personalization elements you can include, so you might think, "It is too much for me." But by watching a couple of YouTube videos, you will see how you can customize it to suit your needs and start using its powerful features.
Alternative considerate: Slack
Perché scegliere Confluence: We used to have documentation inside our bitbucket repositories, but we required a well-defined and easy-to-access platform where the team could both collaborate and access the information for a particular part of the application without needing to go through the code to find it
Software precedente: Bitbucket
Perché passare a Confluence: We found that Confluence integrated naturally with JIRA and our Bitbucket repositories, giving us an organic way to set up all our workflows in a single platform. While we could use Slack or any other messaging platform to communicate, Confluence worked perfectly for our documentation needs.
One of the best
Aspetti positivi:
The ease of use makes it one of the best team work management platforms out there. We are a development team that uses Jira and the integration with Confluence makes our work seamless.
Aspetti negativi:
As of now, nothing really. We still don't use the Database functionality as it is in alpha.
User review
Commenti: Confluence is a powerful tool that can enhance team collaboration and project management.
Aspetti positivi:
Excellent for creating, organizing, and sharing documentation within teams. Helps to serve as a single source of the information project. Helps with collaboration features, editing, adding comments, and notifications, which improves the communication of the team. Provides templates for several types of documents, makes it easier to get started. It easy integrates with other Atlassian products (like Jira). Very user-friendly interface make it accessible for users of all technical levels.
Aspetti negativi:
using the documents is easy, but navigating within it requires a training, and might take some time to get use to it. The paid plans can be expensive, for big teams
Confluence Cloud continues to impress our company
Aspetti positivi:
Cloud-based, intuitive text editor, and an assortment of built-in macros for formatting text, embedding content, and linking other pages. The mobile application for Confluence lets our users access data while on-the-go and not in front of their computers.
Aspetti negativi:
Visibility to other data requires permissions to that data as well as the current data. It would occasionally be useful to be able to embed a view of other content that is locked behind restrictions on view/edit.
A great tool for keep corporate documentation
Commenti:
All the documentation is in a single system available for all our employees.
We can search for any information required at any time.
Aspetti positivi:
We use Atalassian Confluence as our documentation tool / WIKI We like to had all the information in a single source that is searchable and easy to access.
Aspetti negativi:
The Migration process from On premises Confluence to Cloud confluence was complicated and must be more easy. Apart of that I can't fine something else to complain.
A solid documentation tool
Commenti: Overall Confluence is a solid tool that get's the job done. It has all of the features you could want.
Aspetti positivi:
It's industry standard and just works. Most people know how to use it already.
Aspetti negativi:
It's easy for information to become unorganized and sometimes the search functionality does not perform well making it hard to find information.
Great tool for technical documentation
Aspetti positivi:
Ease of use and sharing of documents within the organization.
Aspetti negativi:
Search engine not showing really what I'm looking for usually.
Notes and Document Management for Pros
Commenti: Confluence is the best notes taking and document creation software available - it's a well-integrated, easy to navigate tool that enables live collaboration whilst providing a range of integrations to other business tools!
Aspetti positivi:
Easy to use navigation bar per space (topic area) of store notes coupled with a range of text formatting and style features - Confluence is one of the best software tools available for notes taking! The inbuilt macros, linking page functions, mentions, comments and live editing all add to the allure of the Atlassian product range.
Aspetti negativi:
Confluence can be a steep learning curve due to the overwhelming amount of functionality available - including the permissions and access control clashes.
Alternative considerate: Google Docs
Perché scegliere Confluence: Confluence was cleaner and more agile with a clear collaborative value over other products.
Software precedente: Asana, HubSpot CRM e Evernote Teams
Perché passare a Confluence: The range of features, integration potential and ease of collaboration. The storage, navigation and organisation of Confluence sold it beyond any other product.
Keep everything in one place, best KMS in software projects!
Commenti: We are using Confluence for more than 4 years and in multiple projects and compnaes. I can say this too is awesome and although still have lots of space for improvement, but the current version is truly reliable for enterprise-level companies.
Aspetti positivi:
Easy to use and high integration level with other Atlassian tools is the most interesting part of Confluence. There are more powerful software out there, but none of them has this integration level in a full bundle that Atlassian offers.
Aspetti negativi:
Managing tables (with a huge amount of data) is not easy here, so usually, we prefer to attach excel files, but if it was more powerful in managing sheets, definitely we like it more!
Alternative considerate: Notion
Perché scegliere Confluence: Better document and file management system, Higher access level management system. Better price and very better ease of use.
Software precedente: Google Drive
Perché passare a Confluence: Better integration with other Atlassian tools that we use during our daily work in the company.
One stop tool for documenting almost anything
Commenti: Overall, the feature is a good to have and can make life easy by providing a single stop platform for all the documentation and giving a knowledge hub.
Aspetti positivi:
Collaboration with numerous tools already in use by our company like Asana, Slack, Miro Board, Google Sheets, etc. , Ease of use and sharing documents just by a click, and Permission handling of users.
Aspetti negativi:
Struggle to share snippets of code and adhering to syntax, and not having a flowchart builder feature.
Alternative considerate: Notion
Perché scegliere Confluence: To incorporate a range of features that confluence offers and docs don't. Most important being integration with tools and Miro board.
Software precedente: Google Docs
Perché passare a Confluence: Confluence has better integrations with other softwares and is a dedicated platform for documentation. Also, we wanted to have a platform where a Knowledge Library can be created and managed easily which confluence gave us.
Our knowledge base
Commenti: We were having problems to share information, and some users were not getting the right information. Knowing that we have a tool for information sharing like Confluence, we create a plan to start documenting all our processes, and now they are available across the company.
Aspetti positivi:
It is very useful to share all our documentation and knowledge base. All the users are now able to get updated information, and can share any documentation with the team.
Aspetti negativi:
It can become a bit slow sometimes, causing the pages to take longer to load and look for information.
Alternative considerate: Microsoft SharePoint
Perché scegliere Confluence: We were looking for a better documentation and information sharing tool
Software precedente: Microsoft SharePoint
Perché passare a Confluence: It was the better option for our company, thinking on how robust is the tool.
If it wasnt for Jira, I would not miss using Confluence.
Commenti: I feel the cloud version still needs a lot of work. I feel it is missing many features that should be standard without needing a costly plugin. The product serves its purpose, but I feel better options are available.
Aspetti positivi:
What I like the most about Confluence is the integration with Jira, the flexibility of creating your own department space, and managing the permissions. We use it for a large knowledgebase. Having the in-line comments helps identify issues with a document and can be shared and modified by the correct knowledge expert. The history feature is nice if you want to compare document versions. This is like a wiki on steroids.
Aspetti negativi:
The plug-ins needed to be a great product. It is expensive to run. User management is poor and difficult to maintain since this is a license-per-user software (Cloud version). I think the comments on each page are overused, which greatly slows the page loading. Task management is clunky and not recommended. Many features and fixes requested on the Atlassian site still have had no movement or comments from developers for years. Every solution is a hack or a plugin, which adds more cost to the service.
Alternative considerate: Microsoft SharePoint e Wrike
Perché scegliere Confluence: Dynamic documentation and knowledgebase for the entire company. Works well with Jira.
Software precedente: Google Docs e Microsoft Project
Perché passare a Confluence: We still use the alternative listed.
