Just the equipment management software I've been dreaming of
Commenti: Time savings and management. Simple as that.
Number 1 - Customer support. I've never dealt with a company who works with you on such a personal level and takes care of basically anything you ask for. These guys are true professionals. After that, its all still so great. The fact that I can manage my inventory, while also populating my website and show what equipment is available to rent saves me an insane amount of time. On top of that, it's integrated with quoting and invoicing. You work out of one database and are able to use it over multiple uses. It honestly couldn't be easier or time saving.
There aren't many issues that I have with this software. One of things I brought up was to have the calendar subscription for iCal or Google Calendar show not only the Reserved items, but also what items are Concepts. The built in calendar works great when you're on a computer. But when I need to use my mobile, I generally look to my Google Calendar to get a quick glance of whats going on. Going on all of that, a stand alone app would be great as well. These aren't really cons, just things that would improve the experience.

Inventory management and reservation management function. Customer often just place an enquiry and Booqable allows me to promote the enquiry to an order whilst managing my inventory at the same time.
They sometimes implement features which breaks something else. It's only happened a couple of times, but I feel they do do as rigorous testing in the dev/test environment as they should. I don't want to be stood with a customer, about to close an order and find I cannot perform a function on the system.

Non-Existent Customer Service
Commenti: I hate waiting 4+ hours for some bot to respond in an email that doesn't even answer my questions. Then I'm still stuck without an answer and lost time.
It's nice to have an online store, but it would be nicer if it all worked right.
There is no way to contact a person when you need help. Customer Service is definitely lacking and could use some improvements.
Our Experience with Booqable
Commenti: We are able to have customers reserve, book and pay on there own. Authorizing cards for security deposits and a calendar showing availability is great! Our experience has been been awesome. We can have an affordable rental website that our customers and us enjoy!
We have really enjoyed using booqable because of the simplicity of the website for the business owner. It is super easy for users to check availability and reserve our products.
Because the website feature is so new there are still small changes or kinks to work out.

Super flexible rental management
Commenti: Booqable solves our online booking, scheduling, inventory management, and payment processing fills our needs at a price that's affordable for our small business.
The product entry process, with the ability to define discounted bundles is a perfect fit for our pricing structure. And the flexibility that can be set up for discounts on multi-day rentals saves us from manually handling those bookings.
I can't cite any real cons yet for our use case. Looking forward to the introduction of new themes in the website builder besides the one built-in theme.
Booqable Helps us organize our rental business
Commenti: It has been a good experience as our business grows. We really need the package integration and faster customer support (it has been promised to us for almost 2 years) Overall it has been an easy to use flexible program and we do like it.
I like the cloud application allowing us to use it anywhere on any device. We use it on iPads on the rental floor, laptops and desktops on our network. The tracking is good for knowing what gear is available or not. generating invoices, quotes, etc are very well done.
Needs much better integration for package creation. We offer items both individually and as part of a package with extremely high values ($100,000+ per package) and we need to be able to track every component of a package separately. We hate losing a small piece that may cost $1000 or more and we didn't have it barcoded in separately on a check out. Also it has a hard time integrating with Quickbooks and other accounting software. This would be a big improvement. We also want it to have different levels of user interface. We don't need the rental prep techs to see pricing but want them to be able to check in and out gear.

Commenti: We have had a positive experience so far with Booqable - lots of great features such as barcoding (assigning, printing, scanning etc)It has made the ability to keep track of multiple items fairly easy, and with time, will only get better.
Booqable is a user friendly rental platform, allowing us to keep track of our stock, bookings, analyze data etc.It has regular updates to the system, improving with every update, making it easier to use, adding great new features.
Still some missing features, such as delivery scheduling, creating multiple orders for different hirers under a company and also missing the ability to send templated emails out of the mobile app.
Great equipment rental software for small shops
Commenti: Overall it's working out pretty well so far. The support team doesn't seem to be quite on my same business hours but they are very fast to respond during their hours.
Speed of the application is a high priority for me, I don't like waiting for software to "think". Booqable is pretty fast getting things done. Overall the software is pretty intuitive and while I do want more features I appreciate that Booqable does the basics very well. Some other softwares are so full of features it's difficult to get started and a lot of them you don't need or won't actually use in practice. It is able to handle my unique business hours of being open in the morning and the afternoon with a break in the middle of the day.
I'd like to have an actual card reader so I don't have to manually enter credit card information for each customer that walks in. I'd like to see more reporting built out so I can easily get better data on my businesses' operations.

I could add variations on each item for different lengths of time but it was cumbersome and hard to change quotes over the phone for customers asking about renting multiple items at the same time. Square's software was also very often sluggish which drove me up the wall =)
Perché passare a Booqable: I'm a new business and I've had a slow start. My processes are pretty simple so I don't need a robust software system to manage teams and other aspects of my business. Booqable has a good balance of features vs cost that made it a pretty clear choice for me.
Perfect for a van rental agency! Just what we were looking for!

The calendar, inventory management/control, and scheduling is HUGE for us and extremely important to this business to manage our fleet. We were using Google Calendar before. That may be fine with 3 or 4 vans but not we have 14 and that was not a good fit anymore. I'm the new GM here. I found Booqable on my 2nd day on the job and we haven't looked back!
We love Booqable but we have noticed a few things that could really make a huge impact if they were implemented. Color coding - we would like to be able to change the colors on the calendar to mean different things for us.The stock number (1) within the colored strip on the calendar isn't helpful for us. If we could enter our own info such as the clients name and van choice that would be helpful.We have steps within our process that we would like to reflect on the calendar by a different colored box. For example: If we could start as a "draft" (with a specific color) which means someone has interest and has put a 48hr hold on a van. Then, a different color when a client signs a contract, and different color when a client has paid the invoice. When both are complete, at that point, go ahead and mark them as "Reserved". Also, a "draft" would need to remove a van from inventory. The problem that we're seeing is that a draft does not remove a van from inventory so it looks like we have a van available when odds are, it'll be booked. Right now, we are just using the calendar to view availability for each van rather than the "check availability" feature because those drafts do not remove inventory and they have not signed the contract or paid the invoice yet.

They offer a full website builder, or embeddable code snippets to place on your own website for people to choose the rental date, products, pricing tiers, etc. As a web developer, when I first got access to their trial version I knew right away that this is the platform we should choose. Their product design, craftsmanship, and attention to detail shows that it's made by professionals who care deeply about the customer experience.
As a web developer I appreciate how refined, well-designed, and easy-to-use Booqable's website dashboard system is. They thought of everything. There are settings to control every aspect of equipment rental that we could ever need. The system is intuitive to use out-of-the-box, I could figure out most of it on my own. And when I needed help, their support team has been responsive and helpful.
Promo code functionality is not offered on their basic pricing tier.
Perché passare a Booqable: Booqable's user interface is superior, they thought of everything. It's intuitive, powerful, well designed, and offers exactly what we need and more. FareHarbor was also good, but the deciding factor was that Booqable offered a free trial to get in and start using it.
Exactly what rental software should be
I tried a different rental booking software first and was surprised by how difficult it was to use. Switching to Booqable was a great relief. It's very user-friendly, and it accomplishes all the necessary tasks without over-complicating anything. It's easy to input inventory, easy for the customer to browse and make reservations, and easy on the back end to track the rental stages. I really appreciate that they will pause the subscription during the off-season, while still allowing customers to browse and book.
Equipment rentals are a very small part of my retail business, and I technically could handle the tracking with a spreadsheet. I use Booqable because it keeps my time spent on rentals to a minimum. I would prefer to pay a percentage of sales to use the software, or some combination of a small monthly fee and percent of sales. The currently monthly fee is do-able, and will be fine if I grow that part of the business.

The software is easy to use especially the online store, inventory management and invoicing. The online store is easy to set up and integrated easily with the inventory management system within Booqable.
Transferring my Quicken database to the Booqable database is something I find challenging to do.

Booqable's rental software is intuitive, powerful and very fast. Being a browser based system running on the AWS cloud makes it secure and work smoothly, no matter from where we are using it. Planning a rental, printing a rental agreement in front of a client or creating an invoice is just a matter of a few clicks. The modern UI of the program makes it really easy to understand and use. Our associates had a grip on the system in a matter of hours. Barcode scanning to select a client and to start and stop rental items is a must for us, and Booqable supports it very well. Our company manages over 1700 unique rental products within Booqable, and we have not had a single outage until now. The calendar function also offers a very easy method to check when products are available or rented out and by whom. This is also the only system we found with good online booking integration. Most of our clients use our website to choose the products online, so this feature is essential. The Booqable support team around Arjen and Herman truly are masters of customer support. When ever we had a comment, question or needed help we received an answer in a matter of seconds. It's just great when you have a dedicated support agent with absolute knowledge, that knows your business and your story. I would recommend this Service to anyone wanting a simple but powerful rental tracking solution.
Specific to our unique business segment, we are still missing a few extra features. These include reports, warehousing locations and package building. We are confident that these features will follow as part of the ongoing development of the system and the Booqable team have assured us that they will be available shortly.

Commenti: I switched to Booqable to save some money. Our last software system was more expensive and only allowed for a certain amount of inventory. I needed to add inventory to our business and this was going to increase the price. I am so glad I found Booqable. It is so affordable and even thought it is missing a couple of features compared to the other site I actually prefer it overall and for less money!!!
It is pleasing to the eye and easy to use. It does everything that I need it to do at an affordable price. My business is seasonal so I also like the fact that you can put your account on hold in the off season.
It would be great if there was a way to add a damage waiver option that was a percentage of the order total and easy to remove if the customer didn’t want to pay it. Right now I have it set up as a tax which works but if they don’t want to apply it to their order it is a little annoying to remove. They also cannot do it themselves from the online store. I also wish Booqable would calculate the travel fee, however it is simple to add a line to the quote for this I just have to calculate it myself. This also isn’t added when customers order online and I have to add it for them.

1. It just works and is easy/intuitive to use 2. Integrates seamlessly with Weebly website 3. The customer service is best in class, the chat is right there, and it's a handful of knowledgeable and helpful team members who are there often instantly or within a few hours with a personalised response. you're really chatting with someone with a vested interest in the business and get to know them by name. Oh and they actually help fixing the issue too, most of the time :) 4. Regular software updates that actually make a difference, based on customer feedback
There are some glitches and business rules that doesn't quite suit how we work, especially around quoting and invoice creation. I'd like a bit more flexibility here. Would like to see integration with other website providers too, as I picked Weebly only because it worked so well with Booqable (and it really does), but now I'm subject to the functionality in Weebly. It would also be good with add on packs for reporting, analytics or other functionality for smaller businesses without needing to upgrade to fullblown corporate membership. I'm a small business but have a lot going on, but can't justify going to the upper pricing to get the bundles and other extras.
Affordable Solution with Webstore, Barcodes & Very Cool to Use
Commenti: My experience has been excellent from setting it up, to processing orders & the service team is very responsive.
Online store was a must. There's very few affordable packages that do this so that really narrowed the field which is surprising because it's 2020 not 2005. It's very easy to use, looks modern, is easy to read & works the way you expect. Barcoding is a great feature. The Pro subscription has unlimited products & 5 users which is just right for our company. My warehouse manager loves it too. Support has been excellent & I was able to integrate it with my Wordpress site.
The only minor thing was that I was limited in what fields I could import & can't modify products in bulk but that's only an issue when you first set it up.
Booqable is essential for my small business
Booqable is an essential product / tool for my (small) event hire business located on Waiheke Island, NZ. It has made the customer ordering process and inventory management of my stock seamless from the initial customer interaction to delivery. Customers can order directly through my website where booqable sits in the backend, I then check inventory levels, and confirm back to them with a quote from the system. I get a lot of last minute orders so it is essential that I know how much stock I have on hand at any one time. The documents produced by booqable are very professional and elevate the look of my small business. I couldn't run my business without it!
I use Xero for billing and all accounting functions, so it would be great if booqable orders could be fed into Xero for billing. It would save some double inputting.
Commenti: I am in Canada. Booqable is in the Netherlands. If you are not online with them by 10am, it is the end of the day for them and you wait for the next day. I asked about this and was told it was a small team and be patient. Some chat inquiries, even during the normal business hours for them, can take a hours to get a reply. It seems to me that they either have too few people for the business they have, or there are too many issues with the app and everyone needs support all the time. In the end, after months of work, I had to cancel and start again with another app.
The idea of what this software can do is appealing.. it seems to include all the features needed for a clean integration with Shopify, for example. The online booking and payment capture is slick and simple.
Unfortunately, this app is simply not fully functional, and the discovery of that came at a very high price. My application involved listing products for rent, setting up the pricing, time frames, images, descriptions, etc. Then it went live, and only then (3 months of work) did I learn that the client interface is incomplete, and does not work. Essentially, each online order would need to be manually edited and reworked, so the value of the automation is completely lost. Clients cannot create an account, and I cannot therefore define their deposit parameters, or any parameters. This means your best clients are subject to the same strict rules that your first-time clients are, and there is no way around it. I was told that updates are in the works, but I asked why these features would appear in the app if in reality they were not operational. The reply is that we are working on it... next year, it should be better. Next year? Show me a business that pays full rate, gets partial service, and is prepared to just hang on to "next year" as the time frame for completion...
Software that grows with your business

Plus Booqable is progressive, modern, and stylish and they clearly love their work, something we can relate to as a business with similar values.
Excellent features; beautiful UI layouts and options; new website designer; all manner of options to build an excellent equipment or service hire website. Customer service form the team at Booqable is excellent, real and high quality.
None!About a year ago, the pricing and features were a bit clunky, for example, we wanted to use a subdomain for our equipment hire website but needed to purchase the highest plan in order to get that option, and then we got a bunch of options we didn't really need either. And some features were missing. Something clicked at Booqable in the last six months or so and recently they've put together a very competitive and well throughout pricing plan that is excellent for value with features and well thought out.
