I improve the design of work

I improve teamwork because it is more united with real-time information that we can all see and thus be able to work on the same approach. I also like that when there is a new person in the team we do not have to go back in the work to give them an explanation because through Calamari there are all the necessary tutorials so that they can be updated with our work and thus have a simple interface between new personnel and the daily work done

Simple and easy to use!

Commenti: Love it! What an absolute time saver for keeping track of employee time off. The customer support is phenomenal, and they continue to help set up and answer questions in a timely manner.

Aspetti positivi:

Ease of employees logging in their vacation and sick time. Visibility to all on one calendar. Less administrative burden on keeping track of time off. And there is a mobile app that helps our salespeople who are on the road see who is off in the office.

Aspetti negativi:

The calendar view could show a bit more detail on the absence up front. As of now you have to "hover" over the individual to see if they are off the entire day or just taking a couple of hours off.

Alternative considerate: Time Tracker

Perché passare a Calamari: Excellent demo and easy platform. It was a breeze working with our onboarding rep at Calamari, and they continue to support anything that comes up along the way.

Good, but still room for improvement

Commenti: Okay, but I have to endure staff complaints after we transitioned from a former in-house program to Calamari with its shortcomings as mentioned above.

The fact that it is available as a Web app, Mobile App and can be integrated with MS Teams, etc.

Aspetti negativi:

The calendar should be improved across all platforms to give a first-glance distinction of approved vs pending approval requests, partial vs full day leave, clear and very visible identification of company holidays without the need to hover over the days to figure it out.

Commenti: We have been using calamari for a few years now and it is a very useful software for the company. They update the software continuously, which means they take great care of their customers.

the software allows us to have precise control over the hours worked per job

There is nothing negative. I would like it to have a function that automatically edits the employee's entry/exit time, example: IN 8:04 --> 8:15, 8:22 --> 8:30, EX 17:47 --> 17:45, 18:03 --> 18:00 and so on.

We are a small IT company that wants to digitize all applications because our work is flexible regarding time and place. Requests, entitlements, and time management are all in one place. We can't imagine our daily work without Calamari notifications on Slack. It improves our work-life :)

Initially, the interface seemed a bit clunky, but the Calamari team welcomes feedback and has made great progress over the past year. They ask about improvements and implement them quickly!

Calamari for Office Efficiency

Commenti: Calamari has really solved our time tracking and attendance issues. Moving away from excel sheets and missed tracking has been great. Customer service is always willing to help!

Calamari has great ease of access for all staff. Being able to use your phone to request a sick day and approve it or request time off has been a great feature.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish that administrator and HR didn’t count as a seat if you aren’t using the system for them. We are just using it purely as an administrator.

I can't track an employee's request. When a request has been sent or is on hold, it would be great to have something that allows us to control the requests.

Calamari is easy to use and useful for a small employee population. It is simple and you don't have to pay for the big scale HRIS and timekeeping software for a small population. Its features are still targeted not requiring the use of a generic product for the smaller employers. All of the technical support and customer Service I have received has been quick and exceptional!

it would be nice to be able to have at least one report option that is ad hoc and customizable.

Since we implemented Calamari, we have received very positive feedbacks from our teams because the tool is very easy to use, and it met very well our needs. The Clamari teams are also very supportive and very responsive, they supported us during the implementation phase, the training of the teams, and the launch of the tool, and I would like to thank them very much for that.
