Commenti: Generally excellent tool to organize and coordinate shifts. Daily use, easy to follow and manage, flexibility and many options.

Aspetti positivi:

Free version suitable for small team to try and use + availability - flexibility to update in case of more requirements. App + web and notifications... Generally we have not found better product so far for 24/7 operations team.

Aspetti negativi:

Not really , suits our needs, if you need more reports you have to pay, what is normal and reasonable. Not sure if possible to have few different time zones in one schedule, based on location

Agency Scheduling

Commenti: It's a cost effective scheduling dashboard, that I can personally recommend despite the occasional bug. It will help you organize staff and operations with a quickness - transitioning to this system was very easy.

Aspetti positivi:

Transparent scheduling features, ease of use of the timeclock to report hours, and ability to modify reports through dates, locations, and employees.

Aspetti negativi:

Customer service usually doesn't have an answer for you - although they are polite - I wish that some of these bugs we encountered were ironed out sooner than later.

Love and Hate Relationship

Commenti: We specifically chose this app because it integrated with Gusto, but the integration does not work well and the payroll report integration with gusto, does not work at all. Customer service is super hard to get hold of, they don't know what is going on, and it has been 3 months and the issue is still not fixed. It was difficult transferring everything over to sling and now we are stuck with them until we can switch over to a new company. Very disappointed with the integration and the lack of support. They have no phone number to call, it is only through a chat, that they take long to respond.

Sling Low, Sweet Chariot

Commenti: I think the best way to describe our experience with Sling is by relaying the following series of events. We were aware that we were losing money due to inefficient scheduling, so much so that our board of directors authorized us to spend $500 for a consultant to come provide us with a better way to operate. While the consultant had some decent ideas, they were not actionable. We decided to try out Sling. Now that we have started using it and upgraded to the premium version, we are spending less annually to have all our scheduling handled by Sling than we paid a consultant for a day's worth of work. The cost of implementing Sling was far, far outweighed by the savings that it brought us.

Sling has taken away the need for us to have a dedicated employee spend 15-20 hours a week on employee scheduling. We are a relatively small non-profit, and as such we have multiple employees who routinely have to work outside their specialty/field of expertise in order to keep us afloat. One area that we have consistently had issues with is scheduling and tracking employees and volunteers. With multiple sites and multiple managers, we were losing money because we were doubling up on many shifts. It was not until we implemented Sling that we were able to effectively manage our employees schedule to provide us with the most return on our investment and our customers with the best service.

Aspetti negativi:

We started out using the free version of Sling. Because we have less than 50 employees, this suited us fine at first, but there were options we did not have access to. We quickly realized that the limitations imposed by the free version could easily be solved by upgrading to the minimally priced premium version.

ED SLING SCHEDULING

Commenti: It works with a staff of over 50 associates and makes scheduling much simpler with that number of staff. Covering 12- 15 different shifts per day in a 24/7 department.

Aspetti positivi:

The ease all the staff can enter the dates they want to work, so schedules can be covered. Cuts down on phone calls of management to see who is available for uncovered shits and days.

Aspetti negativi:

I would like the Staff- Off that day Days to be at the top of the Schedule so the person doing the scheduling would know who not to look for on that shift.

Sling is a must have!

Commenti: Easy set up, many options for preferences. Employees found it super easy to use, minimal training involved. I like that you can schedule shifts, then assign employees to them. Customer service is very helpful and quick to respond.

Aspetti positivi:

Very easy to use, visually easy to read both in scheduling and time cards.

Aspetti negativi:

Can't think of anything! Zero complaints from me!

Commenti: Works great as a scheduling system, easy mobile app for employees, shift switches and covering works well.

Commenti: Overall I have a great experience besides from the couple issues I've run into. I use it daily ad it makes it way easier to run a schedule my crews.

I really like how easy is is to schedule people, put up available shifts for employees and the reminders so people know to come in to work. It makes my job easier and gives me some peace of mind.

Aspetti negativi:

I have a couple issues.My least favorite thing is the mobile app, I said before it's just clunky and doesn't feel like a mobile app.I also need a way to view pdf's on the app without it downloading to your phone.And lastly it would make everything so much easier if I could have an hourly rate and a day rate option for employee's.That would solve all my issues and make me love using this scheduling system. I think I could even get some live music venues in the area to use it too because there isnt a program that does all of those things and your system is already really easy to use.

SLING is Top of the Line

Commenti: I have been using SLING for my teams (75+ Staff) scheduling now for several years. It is very user friendly and the few glitches and issues that I have come across do not overpower the usefulness of the program.

Sometimes it locks up when trying to make corrections or changes.

Good for what we need!

Commenti: Overall, I'm glad we made the switch from HotSchedules, which is what we used previously. The way that is syncs with Toast POS and payroll is seamless, and it's easy to keep udpated or make changes on the fly. The app sometimes malfunctions, but I anticipate that being upgraded over time.

Aspetti positivi:

As the person who makes the schedule for ~100 students working as part-time baristas, I like the functionality of making repeating shifts for a certain number of weeks. Color-coded shifts, job titles, and easily specifying tasks lists and job codes, makes for a clean look and clear communication for staff!

Aspetti negativi:

There are a few things that I look forward to Sling being able to do in the future. One of those is for employees having the capability to offer up portions of their shifts instead of all or nothing. I also wish I could add in templates for specific days of the week (i.e. a "weekends" template and a "weekday" template). When holidays fall on different days of the year, it would be nice to have a specific schedule template saved that can just be applied so that I don't have to manually enter shifts for each of those days.

Using Sling changed my life

Commenti: Sling has been absolutely, hands down the best software we have ever adopted. I never feel frustrated with it and it helps save me time and irritations. My employees love it too! Best decision ever!

I love how easy it is to create a schedule and see what employees are not available, it makes completing the schedule painless and quick. I also love that you can complete it as non-published then once you are ready publish it to your employees. The notification feature telling employees when you schedule them and then again reminding them they are schedule is fantastic; my employees love that feature also. Being able to use the integrated time clock is also a great feature. There are just so many feature and customizations that it would be an asset for any type of business at any size.

Aspetti negativi:

I absolutely love this software. The only thing that would be nice to add is the ability for an employee to put their availability in addition to the current feature of unavailability. Because we have many employees who work "as needed" and "very part time" this would save a lot of time on their part on entering information. We could easily see when these "flex" employees would be available to work without them having to put in an excessive amount of unavailable entries as they do now.

Best roster software out there

Commenti: The best roster software I have used. It just works. It works for Managers and supervisors, it works for staff.

Easy to implement, staff take up was instant, support was as good as I have experienced.

Some features need development, but they do not impact the overall experience. Great responses to suggestion for changes to the system.

Game Changer for us.

Commenti: In the nature of my business, it just works! I love that my employees can see who else is working where. BUT they can see who is working with them.The fees are totally afforadable! It makes life SO easy for me from what we were using before!!

What I like the most about Sling is... I used to text message all of my employees to ler ask if they can work and then again to let them know when they are working! I no longer need to do that. They all know if they cant work they do the "Time Off request" if they can never work on such day they do "Unavailible" The natrue of our business are only events so we are somewhere different every event. Sling connects the address to the date as well. Its just been a total Game Changer a fee that we can afford!!

This is a hard one! I really cant think of what I like least other than it needs to be intgrated with Apple Calendar, and the notification glitch I mentioned earlier.

Basic Sling is great

Aspetti positivi:

Our company uses the basic level of Sling for scheduling. It’s nice to creat reoccurring shifts, allow employees to submit requests off, put daily notes in and to be able to trade shifts (with managementa approval). Not really sure how I put up with my previous way of scheduling. Sling has made it a breeze.

No cons on the basic level - maybe if we paid for it, there might be a con?…

I liked that I could record time at each quarter interval. This has been updated recently and is no longer useful to me as we calculate our payroll at each quarter interval. Please bring this functionality back.

Aspetti positivi:

Sling is a cheap cord cutting alternative. In our field we need to keep up with what is going on in the world. This is a great way to do it.

It doesn’t save your place in a show. It makes you find it, again.

Sling Software Saved Me So Much Time!

Commenti: I have used Sling for a few years now -- it meets my needs and goes above an beyond for the products it offers to the user. Sling support staff have been responsive to my needs and questions. A Great Product!

Above all, I love that Sling has saved me so much time when making the schedule for my employees! Used to take 3-4 hours, now it only takes me approximately 1 hour to create a weekly schedule. Sling is accessible by computer and by mobile application. I love that it has many different colors for the different shifts that I need to create. Love that I can copy and paste shifts.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish that the mobile application gave me a total count of hours for each employee. When approving an employee to pick up an extra shift, I currently need to go to a computer to see to total count of hours for that individual before I can approve. Wish I could see total count of hours on my phone, so that I can approve when I am initially notified (which is usually an app notification to my phone).
