Informazioni su Squarespace
Squarespace è una piattaforma multifunzione che consente di creare siti web, negozi online o portafogli di aspetto eccellente.
Easy to deploy and integrates (albeit not seamlessly) with GoDaddy, where we were previously hosting our website. Excellent customer service.
In my personal opinion, I think SS is lost with its minimalist phyloshopy and streamlined way of doing things.

Phenomenal tool for web design
Carlotta
Detto ciò, mi piace il mio sito, perchè ormai ho capito i difetti e so aggirarli.

An all-in-one platform to create your online presence
Commenti: Squarespace allowed me to create a website quickly and easily, without having to worry about technical aspects or installing additional software. It gives me a professional image through designs that enhance my site's content and help me build credibility. It simplifies the management of my site and guarantees its security and performance.
Aspetti positivi:
I use Squarespace which is an all-in-one content management system (CMS) and which allowed me to easily create a professional and very aesthetic website. Indeed, it has a wide range of customizable templates, adapted to different sectors of activity, such as photography, blogging (in my case), portfolio or e-commerce. The templates are elegant, modern and responsive, meaning they adapt to my screen size. Moreover, I can change the template at any time without losing my content. Its user interface is intuitive, simple and easy to use. I can customize my website by dragging and dropping elements, changing colors, fonts, images, etc. I don't need any technical knowledge or additional plugins to do this. Finally, Squarespace is ahead of the curve when it comes to SEO (search engine optimization). The platform automatically generates meta tags, clean URLs, XML sitemaps, etc. I can also add my own keywords, descriptions, titles, etc.
Aspetti negativi:
Squarespace does not offer phone support. I have to make do with live chat, email or community forum. Moreover, it is more expensive than its competitors. Finally, it does not allow me to sell in different currencies on my website. I have to choose a main currency and convert it manually if I want to display other currencies. This can be a hindrance for international customers who prefer to pay in their local currency.

My Love for all things Squarespace!
Commenti: Incredible and stress free.
Aspetti positivi:
What I like most is it’s ease of use, new Fluid Engine and their stellar customer service.
Aspetti negativi:
At this point with the new Fluid Engine and new design features I cannot think of anything else I would want; however that doesn’t mean there aren’t always new features that can be added. What I do know is that Squarespace listens to their users and they have responded by adding incredible new features and functionality. They continue to provide the best quality and reliability for their customers and that’s what keeps me a Squarespace user.

A User-Friendly Website Builder: Squarespace Review
Commenti: Starting my web design journey with Squarespace was a fun and accessible way to create and deploy websites. However, as my experience grew, I discovered more powerful tools like Wordpress and Webflow, as well as delving deeper into HTML and CSS for greater customization. While Squarespace excels in simplicity and hassle-free website creation, it may not meet the advanced needs of web designers. Squarespace is an excellent choice for individuals and businesses seeking a user-friendly and hassle-free website building experience. While it may not offer the depth of customization and flexibility found in other platforms, such as Wordpress or Webflow, it remains ideal for quick website creation without the technical complexities of coding. Squarespace is a great option for those who value simplicity and convenience in website design.
Aspetti positivi:
User-Friendly Interface: Squarespace offers a user-friendly interface with drag-and-drop functionality, making it easy for beginners to create visually appealing websites.Templates: The platform provides a diverse collection of professionally designed and mobile-friendly templates, offering a solid starting point for website creation.Hosting and Security: Squarespace takes care of website hosting and provides secure browsing through SSL certificates, ensuring a smooth and protected experience.E-commerce Functionality: Squarespace includes robust e-commerce features, making it suitable for businesses looking to sell products or services online.
Aspetti negativi:
Limited Customization: Squarespace's customization options may be lacking for users with advanced design requirements, as it primarily relies on predefined templates with limited HTML and CSS customization.Dependency on Squarespace: Users are tied to Squarespace's hosting infrastructure, limiting their ability to easily migrate websites to other providers.

A Comprehensive Review of Squarespace: An All-in-One Website Design Solution
Commenti: Overall, Squarespace is an excellent platform for creating and hosting websites. It's easy to use and comes with plenty of design options. The cost can be a bit high, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality and reliability.
Aspetti positivi:
Squarespace is an incredibly user-friendly platform for creating high-quality websites. Their intuitive drag-and-drop website builder makes it easy to customize and add features to your site. The wide selection of beautiful templates and design options makes it easy to create a stunning, professional-looking website.
Aspetti negativi:
Although Squarespace is very easy to use, the cost of their plans can be quite expensive compared to other website builders. Additionally, some advanced website features are not available on the platform, so if you need something like eCommerce functionality, you may need to look elsewhere.

Beautiful Websites, Poor Work Flow
Commenti: Our experience with Squarespace has been acceptable when analyzing its cost vs overall value. For the price we pay, it is exactly what we need.
Aspetti positivi:
Squarespace gives us the ability to create simple, yet beautiful websites that showcase our real estate listings. Syncing up the website domain is an incredibly easy process, and it doesn't take much time to get a website up and running. There are many customizable options for each template and it's easy to move elements around. Squarespace's analytics page is also a huge bonus! Easy to understand and navigate so we can share with our clients.
Aspetti negativi:
The font size and style for the website template is determined in settings, so not much can be changed while you are actively working in a text box. If you want to change the font or have multiple fonts there is a huge, unnecessary process to go about it. It would be much, much easier if each text box had its own options. Secondly, on the administrative side, to update billing information, you have to go into each website in your account and update them one by one. There should be a streamlined process to take care of billing for your website portfolio all at once.

The simplicity of creating a website with Squarespace
Aspetti positivi:
Squarespace is a website creation platform that offers professional and personalized designs, free web accommodation, ease of use by providing the possibility that any person without excessive knowledge of programming can create their website, also has electronic commerce and optimization options for devices Mobile It is ideal for those who want to create a website without worrying about creating and accommodation
Aspetti negativi:
Squarespace has very little flexibility to integrate third -party applications, being an inconvenience when you want to integrate other tools and platforms it offers.

Simple, efficient and easy website design and management
Commenti: Overall, I will continue to use Squarespace over other comparable options (Wordpress, Wix, GoDaddy, etc) due to the simplicity and ease with which it allows for website design/management and the options that are preset. The only real detriment is that it does not allow for certain specific modifications/configurations of their templates. Still very user-friendly and worthwhile.
Aspetti positivi:
Squarespace makes designing a website with only basic knowledge of web design an option for individuals and small businesses looking to create a website on their own.
Aspetti negativi:
I wish there were more options (optional) when it came to making changes and customizations in the preset templates

Value of money, easy and simple for site management using niche based templates
Commenti: Easy to create a website with free SSL and can use niche-based stunning designs or templates. No coding just drag and drop and promote the content on the web with ease. Really impressive platform with dashboard and analytics insights as well.
Aspetti positivi:
A great choice for a website builder with a small budget to showcase creativity, and hosting to sell the product online. Have a lot of features SEO friendly and marketing, even full of security. Highly customized options in terms of layouts, font, themes and much more.
Aspetti negativi:
Limited plugins even every version is hard to update automatically. Also, limited integration options, technical support team is not pro active

This is one powerful and reasonably priced tool!
Commenti: Communication, social media referrals, and general information for the public and bands
Aspetti positivi:
Easy to learn and use. Good functionality and some really nice templates to get a new website up and running quickly.
Aspetti negativi:
Some of the pages offered such as blog pages, don't allow for custom backgrounds. I can live with that for a while.

Easy to use microsite/landing page and blog

A beautiful website, tailored to you
Commenti: I have a beautiful, functional website to direct clients to. It has a blog, a shop where they can purchase items and much more. The site allows me to capture visitor information, make sales and create first interactions with me and my services. It allows me to have a "home base" from which I launch all of my projects and ideas. I have had Squarespace for several years now and never plan to change--it's really that good! I have experimented with other providers but never found anything so well crafted and easy to use.
Aspetti positivi:
Squarespace allows you to select a plan that fits your needs. You can choose plans with unlimited pages, commerce options and much more. I love that it's made to be user friendly and there is no coding required (you can code as an advanced option but it's really not at all needed since they offer you everything). You can add all kinds of features to webpages, like forms, surveys, images and much more just by adding elements they call "blocks". This makes it very easy to customize the website to look, feel and operate just like you would like. If you previously couldn't realize your website dreams due to a lack of technical know-how, you can use Squarespace to design like a pro.
Aspetti negativi:
Sometimes it can be slightly unintuitive as to where to find something, so it takes me a few extra minutes to find out where I can tweak a specific setting. Customer support is excellent and fast to respond but only by email or chat, not by phone. You do have to upgrade to a higher plan for some features, like abandoned cart recovery at checkout, for example; however, for the value they offer, I think all the upgrades are worth the cost.

The Best Website Builder for Simple Sites
Commenti: I genuinely love this tool for creating websites. It is easy to use, cost efficient, and turns out a great end product. I have used it to make websites for photographers, restaurants, and sales businesses alike. It is so versatile and every site visitor thinks it's professionally done.
Aspetti positivi:
This software is easy to use, intuitive, and when you can't figure something out Support is right there for you. They have tons of how to videos and instructions that make everything pretty easy to figure out.
Aspetti negativi:
I dislike the spacer feature - it gets pretty annoying to use those instead of being able to snap an object to a grid and align that way. It works much like Microsoft Word in the sense that if you try to resize or adjust something, sometimes everything on the page moves.

Value and Simplicity, Meet Beauty!
Commenti: I have now built over 10 full websites using Squarespace and each one continues to grow my knowledge and stretch my ability. As I aforementioned, you don’t need to be a pro, but if you are, designing an incredible, impactful and don’t miss this, mobile friendly website is simple and easy.
Aspetti positivi:
The best thing about Squarespace is the ability to create gorgeous websites with little to zero experience. You don’t need to be an HTML wizard, but if you happen to be, you can still take full advantage of everything Squarespace has to offer.
Aspetti negativi:
Honestly, it’s hard to say one. For the mid level prosumer, I haven’t found a single better option.
Osman
Absolutely fine!
Commenti: I've used this software before and it really helped me with my website in the past. It has some good features and not difficult to use. You pretty much get what you pay for. Also, know that if you are aiming for really professional websites I wouldn't suggest you use Squarespace. But if you just want to set up a decent site in a short amount of time, I would definitely suggest you this software.
Aspetti positivi:
First of all, it is extremely easy to set up websites in no time. It has some cool and modern-looking templates that you might want to consider. It is user-friendly and not much knowledge of coding is required which makes it a good choice for many companies and people. Even though I didn't struggle much with anything whilst using this software, support was always there to help.
Aspetti negativi:
The way that the client can't change a lot, implies that expert clients are restricted and don't have much freedom. Other than the lack of freedom when choosing templates and editing fonts or just the way the website looks, I don't see any other downsides to this software.

Easy to Customize
Commenti: Using Squarespace to relaunch our website was a time consuming process, but the system made it as easy as it could be. Someone with little web design experience can make a beautiful website and concern themselves more with the content than the design. There was a bit of a learning curve, but after trial and error we were able to navigate the system and learn as we designed new pages.
Aspetti positivi:
The drag and drop features of the page designs were easy to navigate and customize. When deciding what pages to include in our rebranded website, functionality was our number one concern; we wanted to be sure our current and future customers could navigate our site easily and find what they were looking for. It is great to be able to adjust and customize pieces any time instead of having to wait for a developer to create a page for us.
Aspetti negativi:
The forms can be finicky and sometimes don't work for users. Because there isn't a customer service rep with onboarding it can be difficult to navigate troubleshooting. Without much coding knowledge it can be difficult to customize the size of the header for the entire website, and I wish you could chose your own fonts.

Simple doesn't mean low quality
Commenti: My client wanted to launch a new brand with a website fast. I chose Squarespace just to get us going, with the intention of migrating over to a WordPress build in the near future. 2 years later we're still on Squarespace, with no immediate plans to change. The website's performance and optimization is consistently top-notch, edits are easy, tracking code changes work well, and enough third-party tool integrations exist to account for our needs. I wanted Squarespace because I hoped it would be quick and simple to set up. It was. I stayed with Squarespace because it's more effective and substantial than I initially hoped.
Aspetti positivi:
Squarespace really is simple to set up and use. A lot of web building best practices are automated for you, with image auto-optimization, mobile-friendly templates, and ADA compliance features. A few years ago the biggest issue with simple website builders like this was performance - drag-and-drop sites tended to be slower. Not the case anymore. All my Squarespace sites load well within Google Page Speed Index benchmarks, with image compression that doesn't reduce image quality at all.
Aspetti negativi:
Squarespace will cause some issues if you're at either extreme of tech savvy: If you have zero background building sites, there will be a learning curve. I know their marketing makes it sound like you could build a site with your eyes closed, but do not count on it being that simple. And on the other end, if you have deeper experience building sites and working with code, Squarespace can be a bit basic. You can't access a page's source code, block types can't be edited, and design functions are fairly limited.

User of Squarespace for 9+ years - Loyal customer to a fantastic product
Commenti: My overall experience has been outstanding. I will continue to use the product despite the cost. It is well worth the amount of visits I routinely get on the site where I know the viewers will have a smooth experiencing navigating the site. It just works!
Aspetti positivi:
When it comes down to it, I'm convinced that Squarespace is the BEST option for portfolio websites short of hiring a designer which would cost significantly more for something better quality than what Squarespace has to offer. Beyond that, it's easy to customize, is a beautiful frame for portfolio work that makes the work itself look better and ultimately gives me credibility as a professional since the site just looks so good. I've put quite a bit of work into building the site over the last 9 years and change the theme every 3-4 years or so which requires days of work to get right each time. In between larger redesigns, updating the site is so easy and I know what to expect. The customer service has been outstanding for 9 years. It's more expensive than the other options out there but I'm happy to pay for how the product bolsters my work and ease of using the product. The analytics also are a huge win in allowing me to see how the site in performing - and to be able to monitor this on the go within the app.
Aspetti negativi:
There are some limitations if you're very design focused like I am since the templates can only do what they were created to do which means that simple things like changing margins may not be as simple as you'd hope. There are lots of tools the "style editor" but sometimes it doesn't' cover all the bases. I've had to code things in when that was the case for things that I feel should be pretty easy to customize (like if I want an image full bleed but the template doesn't support it, you must code it in. This is only for a few select amount of customers who are detail-obsessed like I am. For the general user, the prebuilt templates are above and beyond what you'd hope for! Also, sometimes browsers have a hard time keeping up with the editor and it can freeze or crash. This has gotten massively better in the last 5 years and hope to see this continue to improve. All around, these are things I wish could be better but not complaining when there isn't anything comparable in the market for the look & functionality at a similar price point.

Great design features but need more e-commerce support
Commenti: I enjoy using Squarespace. If the e-commerce features are more competitive, it would be a perfect website builder!
Aspetti positivi:
Squarespace is amazing for putting together an attractive, professional website in no time. Having used various website builders over the years, I'd say Squarespace is the most beginner-friendly. The website templates are beautiful and very easy to edit - no coding or design skills required! Because of Squarespace's extensive customisable design elements, it is best for portfolio websites - where stylish layout is important and you don't need advanced e-commerce features. And being one of the most established website builder platforms around, you can also trust that your website will be secure.
Aspetti negativi:
Squarespace isn't so great in terms of e-commerce integration. For example, it lacks the infrastructure to create useful shipping options (e.g. free delivery over £50), which should be an essential e-commerce feature. If you're looking to build an online store, I wouldn't recommend Squarespace.

A website-builder following the K.I.S.S. mantra
Commenti: Squarespace can't do everything you might want from a website. Or... well... it probably nearly can. The devil is in "how" it accomplishes things. Essentially the whole product keeps you "on rails" as you roll out a website. Every element within the builder has maybe one or two customization options, but the rest is hidden behind an impenetrable interface. But, Squarespace isn't just keeping functionality out of your hands to be cruel, it is often saving you from yourself. By limiting the options available to you, they also limit the potential outcomes of your foray into web design / ecommerce / etc into mostly desirable ones. Sometimes, rules/restrictions can be good! In this way, I'd say they are kind of like the "apple" of website-building platforms.
Aspetti positivi:
At one time, Squarespace's slogan was "build it beautiful." They take this mantra seriously, as the platform makes it almost impossible to NOT make a beautiful website. Can it be restrictive? Yes. But in limiting the user's options, it often is doing them a service. If you absolutely must have functionality or an type of implementation Squarespace doesn't support, then you probably need the help of an expert (either a dev agency or a marketing/design agency) or you are yourself an expert – in which case, you probably should have started with a more sophisticated tool.
Aspetti negativi:
The one area where customization is often necessary is in CSS. A bit of custom CSS goes a long way toward making a site look less like a template. Just as having a clean crisp UI/UX is the bread and butter that makes Squarespace sites so attractive to small businesses, having a "one-of-a-kind" look can go a long way toward making those businesses look more credible. It is a delicate balancing act, which Squarespace usually nails quite well... but the lack of documentation on how the site treats custom CSS is a shortcoming. I basically end up anding "Important!" to everything, because it is impossible to tell what elements of my CSS Squarespace is going to arbitrarily overwrite with no explanation.

Squarespace is great for small businesses
Commenti: My overall experience with Squarespace is that it has allowed me to increase my profits, I've had a better time at events when people want to make purchases, and in general it is a well run software, so I really appreciate it. It is very accessible, it has made me look more professional, and it rarely has any bugs. Good job !
Aspetti positivi:
I have been using Squarespace for a few years as a working artist with a small business. There are a lot of events that happen for crafts and painting, and no one has cash, and I certainly don't have change to give them. When I got onto squarespace a few years ago I was amazed that they sent me a free sliding card chip reader, how easy it was to sign up, and I was a bit upset with myself that I hadn't signed up sooner. The amount of sales I missed before squarespace could probably have paid for a vacation or a big increase in my business, however all is well because I have it now. I really like that I can also keep profiles of different people, I can send people invoices, I can send people receipts, I can really make sure that I stay in their minds as a future place to buy from. I think that square space has also been successful for me because having a squarespace account has made me more professional with overseas buyers. Sometimes I get quite a bit of traction on sales through instagram, and paypal is not seen as the best route by these people, they prefer square space. It has given them ease of mind when they receive a digital receipt, when they see that i take my business seriously, and that has created a lot of good relationships for me in places like Australia, New Zealand and so forth. It has also allowed me to let people set up payment plans by tracking all their payments through square space and that too has increased a lot of business for me. Squarespace has helped!
Aspetti negativi:
I think that I am always worried about losing the swiper. If there was a way where squarespace could get rid of that all together and yet allow a one go swipe I would be really grateful for that. The only other issues I have had is sometimes the software has frozen while I am in the middle of a transaction and that has made things a bit difficult for me in the moment, however, this is common for a lot of apps that have high usage, so I am not super upset about it. I think that in the moment you can hope that things will be perfect but they can't always be. Overall though I think the software has better positives than negatives. I think that it is very good software.

Nice software, but fragile and randomly freezes or glitches
Commenti: Overall it’s a pretty good experience. Although there are glitches and times when it simply freezes for no apparent reason . This can be infuriating, especially after writing a lot of content, and it will not save or update the text (we pay for the gigablast fastest business internet our ISP sells). Sometimes it will save an old draft, not the current one, this makes me want to scream. Sometimes it will delete things I don’t want it to accidentally I’m not sure what the problem is, there needs to be a general undo button. Something that can protect you if the website is glitching or acting nuts..
Aspetti positivi:
The stylish look of the fonts and web design. The styles look professional enough, the competitors looked too childlike or complicated to setup. I also like that you can do most of the editing from the app, not just the laptop.
Aspetti negativi:
What concerns me about this software, is the lack of ownership over all the work put into the website. Software companies these days are becoming political and illogical at times. Although my team and company doesn’t deal with anything political like that, it’s in the back of our mind’s that eventually we will need to break off from Squarespace because they have too much power over our website and servers. All it takes is one new CEO who is ‘Woke’ or a Twitter tweet with no accountability or responsibility, to blow up and a company’s online presence can be severely compromised. Like I said what we do is not even controversial, but We have seen from other marketing firms, weird issues like that concerning square space and competitors. So as time goes on and we become more profitable, the goal is to eventually break away from Square space over lack of control over our own website and servers.

Allows anyone to be a professional, easily
Commenti: Overall, I am pleased with Squarespace. I think it is the most professional website builder out there. However, its price point and its inconsistencies hinder it from getting a 10/10 on my end.
Aspetti positivi:
I like how easy to customize and use Squarespace is and always has been. Especially with their latest version release, site building has become more customizable than ever. Their templates also serve as awesome inspiration. Customer service is also quick, friendly, and efficient.
Aspetti negativi:
There are some inconsistencies across templates and versions. Things like adding a caption to galleries or password protecting a portfolio page - which you'd think would be options, based on previous templates or other modules/page types, are not available across the board. This is frustrating when you're building a site with a specific vision in mind, but you can't achieve those results. CX associates have also told me that there are 'bugs' that are being sent to tech teams, however they can't provide updates on ETA's for fixes. It has been a month since I was told that, still no fix. It's not a good look to have such a tech-forward company fail on promises or updates to users on bugs, or elements that are prohibiting from utilizing the platform in the ways expected. Squarespace is also quite pricey compared to its competitors.

Beautiful websites!
Aspetti positivi:
Before switching from Wordpress to something more contemporary, I thoroughly researched the offerings, and a lot of website-building platforms seemed to have little difference between them. But I trialed most of market leaders every since, and I can surely say, squarespace websites are the prettiest. For businesses that rely heavily on the visual element of their marketing, that is super important. And the recent update (the possibility to overlap blocks and place them anywhere on the grid, regardless of the page structure) is an absolute game-changer, and I am totally in love.
Aspetti negativi:
The only thing that I am not entirely satisfied is how Squarespace approaches multi-language websites - I had to turn to a third-party plugin. It is not a deal breaker for me, but it was just strange not to offer this in the first place.
