New to RAM

Aspetti positivi:

The ability to set email alerts and monitor driving time. Also like the easy access to user guide and simple instructions.

Aspetti negativi:

So far, no cons. Everything seems very user friendly

Know where they are all the time!

If you want peace of mind over your fleet then this is the software that you want. I decided to look into fleet tracking software about a year ago and I found RAM Tracking. I saw a demonstration of it at a trade show at the time and I was skeptical but I took the plunge and made the purchase. I had it installed in all of my business vehicles and also in my kids vehicles to give me extra security. I do enjoy the features this software offers which includes location and speed. I can also tell if the vehicle is running or is shut off. Over all a great tool to have as the only manager in my company and this allows me to be in more then one place at a time!

Aspetti negativi:

I sometimes have connectivity issues with the application where the vehicles show up on the map are not where the map is showing them to actually be but for the most of the time it works flawlessly.

Professional Scammers

Aspetti positivi:

Their agents are not honest with you at all, they give you a big contract to sign and no way to get out of that contract! This team started overcharging us, and we got no response from their customer service at all. I sent them several emails requesting for service cancellation but they ignored them all! After 3 months follow up, they got back to me and said your subscription is automatically renewed for another year and you have to pay us for another 12 months. I humbly requested them for cancelation and addressed them to my emails for cancelation requests, but their agent ignored them all. I stopped paying their bills as it was the only thing I could do. Now, they are sending me a letter from a lawyer threatening me for farther legal actions if I don't pay their bills for another year while I am not using their service.

Never sign an agreement with this company.

RAM Tracking Customer Review Feedback

Commenti: Not bad. We with RAM for more than 5 years. And, the device was tested in a real case. Our vehicle was stolen on Canada Day 2017. The thief cut the cables and thought they removed the device. Actually, the device was only partly removed, and luckily still sending PINs for next couple hours. We managed to track it the next day. RAM's device did not let us down. We replaced the device later, a bit expensive, but worth it.

Easy to use. The menu is easy to review and understand. Map color is simple and clean.

Aspetti negativi:

The design is a bit old school. Is there a traffic option?

Commenti: RAM Tracking has excellent customer service and is very professional in handling requests to switch units to new vehicles or add units.

Aspetti positivi:

This software allows us to know exactly where trucks are at all times and brings accountability to drivers. I am able to prove to a customer how many hours a crew was at their job if there is a disagreement.

Aspetti negativi:

Only think I don't like is when the software doesn't work do to maintenance needed or system needing to be reset, This doesn't happen real often however when it does we realize how much we rely on this system in our business.

Braemar Review

Commenti: It has been a great tool for us to track our fleet and employee"s. Our employee's know that we can track them and as a result we have seen significant gains in on time performance etc.

Aspetti positivi:

Ease of use. The software works very well and typically gives very few issues. The link to google maps is a very handy option.

Aspetti negativi:

Setting up customer locations is a bit tricky at first. I would like to be able to click on a link to google maps at a site my employee's had been at say earlier in the day. You can only use google maps at the current point they are stationary at.

Landscaping/Snow Removal with RAM Tracking

Aspetti positivi:

Able to keep track of time spent on jobs to ensure proper billing Helps with liability claims in the event of a snow related slip and fall -- can prove trucks were there to plow or salt

Aspetti negativi:

That it needs to be a full year contract -- I would prefer to have in my tractors for winter so I could keep track of billable hours when plowing and show customers the times they were there but it doesn't sense to tack tractors in summer months

RAM Tracking Review

Commenti: Have had zero issues with this system. Everyone has been very helpful getting us up and running and following up to make sure we are getting the most out of the product.

Aspetti positivi:

Very easy to use. This system allows us to increase the efficiency of our delivery trucks and can inform our customers with a more accurate time of their delivery arrival.

Aspetti negativi:

A slightly faster "real time" update with vehicle location would be nice but is still very good as is.

my Review

Commenti: Very happy, but I think the reporting can be better.

Aspetti positivi:

It's on-line and can be accessed anywhere.

Aspetti negativi:

-The log in can't be divided into admin levels for different users -There is no quick report to tell me how long a vehicle is away from the shop on a daily basis. Departure Time to Return Time. -The menu is not intuitive and short cuts for common tasks can not be created.

AWESOME program and tracking.

Aspetti positivi:

Being able to track our vehicles speed and location is very helpful for us and our customers we serve. Offers numerous reports to use and is real time, which is helpful to confirm locations of the trucks. The program is easy to use and offers a mobile app, can track even from home.

Aspetti negativi:

Only downfall is that some of the highways are not named...ie: hwy 48, hwy 12 or hwy 7 (7a)

Great Product

Commenti: We have been able to control our fleet, and in doing so are able to plan service visits to clients at a moments notice.

Aspetti positivi:

Ease of use, ability to monitor our fleet. A tool to use for logistics and tracking.

Aspetti negativi:

There are no cons so far, perhaps having to add the updated GPS equipment by ourselves.

Not sure what to put here.

Commenti: Works great and will continue with as many trucks as I buy.

Have used it for years and helps us keep track of our team. They know it is there so no deviations between jobs. Works great.

GPS Tracking

Commenti: Able to manage fleet vehicles more efficiently, control wasted trips, manage employee onsite times and charges. Eliminated erratic driving issues.

Aspetti positivi:

Easy to use, plenty of information, great reports

Aspetti negativi:

Very few issues with downtime and not being able monitor fleet.

running a detailed report to accurately track vehicles can be timely process, but it is accurate.

Awesome management tool

Commenti: RAM Tracking has allowed us full visibility of our fleet. We have used this program to cut cost and maintain a certain level. No longer a question of who or where a person is or has been for a certain amount of time.

Current and post tracking availability. Cost savings opportunities.

there is nothing at this time that I can think of that we do not like about this software

Commenti: As a Service Dispatcher I love that I know where our trucks are at any given time so that I can give our customers updates when needed. Its also great for confirming working hours which is helpful our accounting department.

Excellent Tracking software

Commenti: RAM is a great way of tracking your vehicles, so you can monitor where they are, and see where they've been.

The software is very easy to use and helps us in our business track our drivers. We track where they've been and that function we go back days or even a week. This is great.

Can't think of anything I don't like off the top of my head.

By far the worst GPS company we've ever dealt with

Commenti: Company in underwritten by a finance company and are not held to a formal business agreement between you and them, meaning they can do whatever they please and you still have to pay. It took months for them to get our units working properly. No accountability held by this company, good luck finding someone to contact you to have issues resolved. Install techs also make it quite clear how tardy the company is to pay them - thus causing longer than necessary wait times to have units installed. I'll be surprised if this company is still around in 5 yrs.

Aspetti positivi:

We did not like this software. Customer service was non-existent so we were unable to answers for problems with the units. Strongly suggest spending your money elsewhere.

Aspetti negativi:

Over priced. Operation is poor quality. Company seems to have many "miscommunication" issues. App was never effective. No customer service. Absolutely HORRIBLE company to deal with. Would not suggest on any level to deal with company.

RAM Tracking

Commenti: Great way to keep track of our drivers, and easier and quicker way to let our customer know where our drivers are.

RAM Tracking for our officers

Commenti: We have had a great experience especially when dealing with getting new vehicles and having to switch everything over.

Aspetti positivi:

The ease with which I am able to determine where our officers are at any given time so that I may send the closest officer to the call.

Aspetti negativi:

Some of the reports were a little unclear as to what they are for.

Its multiple tracking abilities, customizable reports.

Aspetti negativi:

The mobile app could use some tweaking.

RAM Tracking

Commenti: Great site, definitely recommending for my company !

Pros are, Doesnt matter how many vehicles you have going out, they will ALL be tracked with purchase of your size company. i like that!

Aspetti negativi:

Cons are it just drops when the service is bad, and then has to recalculate. That's pretty much it.
