Guru is our support and success team’s Internal Knowledge Base (or ‘IKB’ for short). This tool replaces Notion as our internal support process and how-to Wiki for our team and serves as a trusted source for the support team’s centralized collective knowledge. The adoption of the tool and its extensibility were critical to us, and thus far, we're pleased. Another pro: Ease of implementation and use - It can't be stressed enough how easy this was to configure and deploy.
Aspetti negativi:
I'd really like to see a more robust bidirectional integration with Notion, similar to how well Guru works with Zendesk's Help Center. We'd like to have discrete cards that pull in Notion pages and stay in sync with those pages. That said, Guru does allow for bulk import of Notion content.

Great for when your team is small
Commenti: Guru was a great place for our team to start their knowledge base. However, as the content in our Guru grew, it was difficult to find and update information in our Guru.

It helps us get more information regarding the processes in order to deliver high quality service to our clients and process their requests efficiently. And I also like how easy it is to navigate on Guru, by just searching keywords and phrases that will help the case that we are working on.

It's not a dislike but room for improvement I guess, sometimes articles are not showing up when I search for keywords and it has to be the exact article page.

Guru prioritises the domain I work in, and their algorithm gives me results focused on my domain first. Depending on search terms being used, then they provide what is most relevant to the term searched. Very often, this is a time saving exercise.
Aspetti negativi:
After multiple results pops up for the same keyword, I try to open a Guru Card that I think could be relevant. I try to filter the result by using CTRL + F, but the card functions as a pop up, so the machine still consider all the keywords on the Guru cards that I have not yet selected, meaning I can't always use CTRL + F to speed up the process of finding what I want

My team loves Guru. We use it for event management and to house details of every event we're attending. I love that I can tag and update my team on Cards that have new information, and how they can easily access every Card from the Guru App. Guru is very simple to use. Once you figure out how you want your information to be organized, building it out is easy! I also love the custom Template feature because a lot of my Cards are similarly built. This saves me so much time when setting up each Card. Both my team and I are in Guru multiple times a day and we have found that this is the best and fastest way to get information updates, while keeping all details in a clean home.

There are a few annoying tech glitches but nothing that hasn't been fixed when I bring it up to their support team. I seem to find these glitches when I'm moving too fast in the program and it can't keep up with me! But like I mentioned, when I bring things up to their support team, they have addressed my concerns very quickly and a lot of times, have it fixed within 24 hours. It's honestly amazing how quickly they can make updates.

Perché passare a Guru: The way everything was organized and laid out was essential. I wanted to be able to see everything at once- and not have to dig to find things. I also loved that I could send out notifications to my card subscribers. This has been super easy for me and my team! It's almost like a check-list of to-dos for them when I send out notifications.

What I love about Guru is its ease of use. It's not complicated to navigate and is easy to access which is important for someone who works in Support. I use Guru daily to check on our FAQs especially when I speak with my customers to make sure that I am giving the right information about the product they are inquiring about. It has also helped our whole team to store the SOPs that we can use as a reference when we need to restudy different processes.

Ease of use across a large number and wide variety of authors and readers. Centralizes all our team's documention, accelerates new employee onboarding and pushes us to keep documents up to date and viable. Integrates well with Slack, keeping information and updates where our team spends most of their time and attention.

It can be overwhelming for authors when a lot of resources need verificition at the same time. Would be nice to automate an optimized schedule.
The Joy of using Guru
Commenti: My overall experience with Guru is definitely a positive one. This has to be the best knowledge based system I was able to use in my career. This has gave me a lot of convenience and joy at work knowing there's a reliable and trustworthy tool we can always use.

While most of the things about Guru is definitely very helpful, user interface can be improved with better font system, But other than that, everything else looks absolutely incredible with Guru.
Effortless experience
Commenti: Before I first started using Guru, I was maintaining using a spreadsheet to maintain a video training for a quickly growing and quickly changing product in a company that needed it for onboarding constant stream of new joiners. Guru brought sunlight back into my life.

Guru is built to handle well knowledge that's growing in all directions, to very easily crossreference it, and to ensure the information is accurate and current. In 4 years of using it I never needed customer support and I rarely needed documentation. That's the best compliment I can give to their product team. As a collection author, you get to place new bit of knowledge within a logical hierarchy. "Cards" not being "Pages", you're primed to separate new bits of knowledge into easily graspable chunks, thus making information easier on the user's working memory. The information can be well formatted. You can embed things into cards (say, iorad tutorials, Miro boards) and you can embed your Guru cards into other things (say, Rise 360. The latest version of the card will load for the user even if you export your .scorm file and upload it to your LMS and the user accesses it months later.). Linking other cards into your cards is easy. For each card, you're setting an owner (it can be an individual or a group of people), and the expiration date. When the card expires, the owner is notified to verify it. You can feed it to Intercom Knowledge Hub. You can notify everyone, or certain users, to read a specific card. You can leave comments in the card, tag users in them, resolve and unresolve them. You can see the card's edit and verification history. You can save drafts. As a collection user, you install a browser extension (or you open collection in a browser tab but, honestly, why would you). When you open the extension, a search panel floats on your screen and you can find the card you're looking for and open it without ever having to leave your original tab. The search is good. You can see who owns the card, when was it created, is it verified. If it is but you have your doubts, you can request verification. You can comment on cards and tag users in tags. A brilliant tool if you have a growing knowledge base, things change and you need to have a system that will allow you to know the information you're using is correct and up to date.

"A polite reminder that you have 1002 cards to verify" sounds a tad bit passive agressive. I thought we were friends. Having infinite layers of depth of information would be perfection.

The Guru Library is user-friendly, and I've built up a great collection of resources I use daily. It's easy to use, has important features, and integrates well with other tools. I use it all day, every day, and I love it! On top of that, their customer support is super fast and accurate. It's so easy to use and implement as well.

The only downside to Guru is that sometimes it's hard to find resources using keywords. This might be my mistake, so it could be user error. Remembering the exact names of the resources can be tricky. Other than that, I really love Guru!

Guru: River of Knowledge
Commenti: I've been working here at Concentrix/Spotify for a few years (7, to be exact) and I can say our life was much more difficult without Guru. Before it, we had a knowledge base that was not user-friendly and was very heavy - it took a long time to load and looked like Wikipedia from 2005. When Guru came along, we benefited from a much lighter app, with a better interface and a possibility of retaining more information. Guru has helped a lot in our search for more knowledge, in a more practical and pragmatic way.

It's very user friendly. It works just like Google - all you have to do is having a keyword in mind and then you can find what you're looking for. Its The interface is visually pleasing - it's not cluttered, nor is it too simple. It's clean, interactive, fun. Not to mention its a very soft page/app.

The analytics part could've been better - it could deliver better results and more info about who acessed some card/collection and when.

Our team has to remember a lot of tax-related facts and concepts, and Guru has helped us tremendously to be able to collect that team knowledge and be able to share it with new team members when they come on board. Because of the shifting sands of tax law, the validation feature provides a process to make sure our information is current.

One thing Guru (or I if it's available already) is to better categorize or organize the information we store. We have a lot of it, and sometimes it's hard to see the forest for the trees.

Using GURU is so much easy and very helpful with my work as a customer support agent. Our company implements to use GURU in every ticket that we handle so I use it all the time. For me, GURU help icon feature is so convenient to use in checking new release notes (Resource Center). Also, the integration with chrome extension really helps me to have a faster resolution in every case that I handle.

I love that Guru lets you library the cards you need the most and like/love them as well for ease of access. Having access to your own content library for every day use for the cards make my job easier to have that information front and center and ready to access when talking with customers or reviewing claim files and the information I need is easily accessible.
