Great Trust Accounting Platform with Room to Grow

Commenti: Trustbooks provides basic attorney trust account record keeping. There is room to grow, but the primary benefit is basic record keeping.

Aspetti positivi:

Trustbooks is basically the only real game in town when it comes to attorney trust account record keeping. It integrates with Clio and LawPay, which makes things easier. It performs all the basic functions necessary to maintain accurate attorney trust account records.

Aspetti negativi:

Trustbooks has room to grow. For starters, there is no abilities to upload bank account statements for e-storage upon reconciliation. There is no way to upload for e-storage scans of checks as required in some states. Reporting could be improved and expanded upon.

Commenti: I use TrustBooks daily. Support answers my questions quickly and keep me updated. Reconcilations are a breeze...all I have to do is review them! TrustBooks really is the answer to my trust account prayers!

Trustbooks is so easy to use. You can't fail with this software. They have created it as the most user friendly, no-fail product. The TrustBooks support team transferred all my data over and got us set up without me lifting a finger. I can't say enough how much easier and stress-free my job is with TrustBooks.

There is not a downside to using TrustBooks.

Best Trust Account Software

Commenti: The staff is always accessible to answer your questions and the software is very user friendly.

This is easy to use and the features are targeted to just Trust Accounting unlike other software that is not specifically made for Trust Account. It makes it easy to comply with the bar rules for reconciliation.

As an independent accounting firm, I handle the Trust accounts for two law firms. Prior to finding Trustbooks I was using a substantially more expensive package that had fewer features and wasn't nearly as user friendly. Navigating within the program is very easy and the support I got in the initial set-up was amazing. I emailed for help and got a phone call within 15 minutes on a Saturday!!! My attorney clients are very pleased with the reports generated and the 3-way reconciliation insures we stay in NC Bar compliance.

Trustbooks could expand the selection of check printing templates, and occasionally there is a lag when syncing with Clio.

I like that I get an email when a client's balance is low. I also like that the reconciliation reports are easy to run. I also like that I can click on any client and see the ledger.

I am thankful for how fast and efficient Trust Account reconciliation is with this program. It's been a huge upgrade from Quickbooks.

It is not as easy to share the accounting information with my CPA. I have to provide him with my username and password each time.

Essential for any firm that has IOLTA accounts

Commenti: We've been very happy with Trustbooks. It is easy to use and on the few occasions where we've had some issues (due to our errors), customer support has been available to quickly resolve the problems.

I love how easy it is to reconcile our IOLTA accounts and have accurate information about how much each of our clients has in their accounts. The integration feature with LawPay has also been very helpful in keeping track of incoming payments.

I haven't had any negative experiences with the software.

An Efficient, Cost Effective Solution to Trust Accounting

Commenti: Our office is very pleased. Trust accounting using this program is one less thing to worry about, allowing us to focus on our practice rather than the administrative tasks.

TrustBooks has really streamlined our accounting process. What used to take hours a month now takes minutes. Reconciliations are now something to look forward to as it comes out perfect every time.

Aspetti negativi:

The only lacking feature was how to handle bounced deposit checks. We obviously did not want to delete the entry, but it has to be accounted for when a check we deposit fails to clear. The workaround was to create a fictitious payee called "bounced check".

It is relatively easy to use intuitively. Having said that, the most important thing to me is the customer service. I had to learn to use this software on my own and within a short time frame. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] held my hand (sometime almost daily) and walked me through the process that one faces when trying to learn a new software program. I felt that he was always happy to help and responded quickly, sometimes at hours I didn't expect.
