Great way to streamline giving
Commenti: Overall, this is worth the cost of use because of the ease of giving options.
Aspetti positivi:
There is a tremendous ease in donating through Tithe.ly. It gives the admin the ability to customize the options for giving, which in turn helps the donors realize the financial opportunities of giving. The processing fees are worth the price.
Aspetti negativi:
The fees are not fun, but they are understandable for the use of the software. Definitely not as high as some companies.

Easy and worry free
Commenti: Tithely has been great! Their customer service group is the best - any time I have a problem I reach out and they help to take care of it.

What I like the most about Tithely software is that it is easy to navigate, easy to use, easy to figure out even from the first approach. It looks clean to visitors and it is simple, allowing our guests to return over and over problem free and allowing our church staff to navigate the software without a struggle.
Aspetti negativi:
Sometimes Tithely comes off as too business oriented. They offer free media which connects you to the "church/religious" side of things but then other business websites offer the same through an internet search. Their website design, app structure, and financial software is competitive and works well its just that in a ministry we connect so much to things of the heart and the software design seems more for business - then again their design is through what churches have asked for so maybe churches have become more about business then about the things of the heart.

Not worth the savings

Their online giving is simple and provided our members an easy way to give online.

The software was frequently not working the way it should. Once they updated to Tithe.ly 2.0, I was unable to print or export PDFs of our monthly giving statements. This forced me to take screenshots of the webpage and then crop the image down, which is very annoying. On top of this, there were several other bugs that we had to work through. Tithe.ly is a very ambitious company that has taken on many new functions and acquired several other smaller companies. The result is what seems like a lot of usability and functionality but is actually dysfunctional, dated, and mismatched UX and UI.

One stop shop
Commenti: Like most software companies, it's easy to reach sales, but a little harder to reach tech support. Thankfully, we don't need tech support much because it's pretty intuitive and they have an extensive knowledge base.

We started with Elvanto around 7 years ago before it merged with Tithly. You'll notice I refer mostly to Elvanto in this review because that is the most important part of the system for us. We had so many people who refused to use technology, but despite personal feelings, the system quickly became indispensible for communications and church management. The last few years brought many changes to our world, and we were able to maintain at least basic communication because of Elvanto. Over the last 2 years we have been transitioning to a forward-thinking environment where many people are empowered to lead, teach, or do whatever it is they do best. To keep it all together, we needed a central hub to share information. Elvanto is that hub for us. The addition of the full Tithely suite last year let us engage our community at a whole new level as well with the website and app. We haven't started using the full functionality of the entire platform, but we are glad to have software that will allow us to grow without artificial limits.We also loved being able to get our non-profit started using Elvanto. Without this powerhouse of a database, we could not have managed the clients who come to the food pantry, the community members who come for classes, and the entire church family. We also use Elvanto in conjunction with our daycare software for certain reporting and communication features that are not available in the daycare software.

After the tithely/elvanto merge, I was concerned the functionality in Elvanto would be lost. I am pleased to announce this was not the case. However, the tithely side still needs a little work when it comes to giving anyone outside of a full admin access to the various areas. I am also looking forward to better stats in the communications area so we can see who is engaging (opening, clicking) and who isn't. I would also like to see the newsletter function from the website integrate into the communications area.
Best Church Management Software - Saved Us During Covid

We converted to Breeze/Thithe.ly two years prior to the COVID pandemic. Because we had this system in place we were able to easily communicate with our congregation via email and text during the early days when the pandemic was changing things daily. The fact that our congregation had two years of experience with the software meant we did not experience the slump or delay in giving during the pandemic like many other churches we know. Those churches struggled to find ways for their congregation to give online and lost critical income.As we returned to in person services we were able to send targeted notifications to the congregation if there was a reported exposure to COVID. We thanked God that we found Breeze/Tithe.ly when we did.

The ease by which duplicated profiles can be made by mistake.

Great Online Giving Tool for Churches
Commenti: Customer Service was great to work with. On the problems that I have had setting this up they have been very responsive. I did do the online zoom sessions that you pay for. Very helpful. Tithe.ly is far better than the last system we used. And the price of $99 per month for the all inclusive package is a great value. It's not a perfect system but for the price it is great for our budget as a small church.

Elvanto and Tithe.ly don't integrate with one another smoothly. Also, I can't use my messaging package that is in tithe.ly with my names that are in Elvanto.

Great Church Management software with extra
Commenti: We've been a customer for several years and I've had a good overall experience. I've talked with sales people, custom service, and even a couple of engineers. Across the board, everyone has been friendly and showed a genuine care for our church.I believe they really do care about making a great product for churches to use and that means a lot to me.
Aspetti positivi:
Fairly simple to use. Even with lots of features, there are natural places to go and look for them. There are several extra features that I probably wouldn't have tried as a stand alone, but are really cool. We just implemented the credit card reader through Tithely Pay and it has been really helpful.
Aspetti negativi:
They are still building everything out so there are a few quirks. For instance, we have their larger church management system (Elvanto) which is where I have to go for things like group reporting and kids checkin. If I want to look at online giving or send messages, I've got to go through the tithely interface. If I want our church app, I go through the Tithely interface, but it sends me to another landing page for our app. None of this is a big deal because I know where everything is, but it might take you a few minutes to get familiar with everything.

Very helpful for a small/mid sized church!

The "one-stop shop" aspect of Breeze has been incredibly helpful. We're a small/midsized church with a smaller staff. Being able to keep up with our membership records and communicate clearly to our congregation has been made easy with Breeze.
Aspetti negativi:
One of the reasons we selected Breeze was the cost for established pricing for the software, so that no matter how large we grow, we can expect to pay the same price. Recently, the cost went up (as did pretty much single good sold in the US, so that's understandable). We've also found ourselves paying quite a bit each month in texting fees.
Alternative considerate:
Great for getting started with online giving
Commenti: Great experience overall, this was something we got as a first-time online giving option and it has not disappointed. They continue to release new features all the time and there's a lot of potential for what you can do with it. We only use online giving, but I would like to explore other functions. Customer service is on point.
Aspetti positivi:
Easy to set up and learn as admin. Takes a lot of work off my plate and totally worth the small fee for what it does. One of my favorite features is sending giving statements for the year by email with a click of a button. Boom, done.
Aspetti negativi:
Viewing transactions doesn't always work on mobile. Doesn't load fully, so I have to refresh a couple times.

Easy to Use Online Giving Platform for Churches
Commenti: I have loved using this. It is an affordable and easy way for us to accept bank and debit card payments.
Aspetti positivi:
I love that we can set up multiple types of funds - pledges, mission, unpledged giving, memorial fund, so that people can share how they want their gift applied to our budget.
Aspetti negativi:
It would be nice if there was a very easy way to set up a link directing people to give to a specific fund type. I think there is a way to do it, but setting this up is not obvious.

Tithe.ly - Promising start
Commenti: Tithe.ly offered us the opportunity to grow our online giving and delve into having an app for church connection. I think they were more focused on growing and acquiring other platforms and lost sight of serving their customers; keeping the ones they had. After awhile, the hype wore off and the giveaways and flashy Tithe.ly Next presentations just seemed empty as much was promised but little delivered in terms of ongoing support.
Aspetti positivi:
It was very easy to get started and affordable for what was being offered. I started with the free plan to see how members took to it and it was widely accepted. I upgraded due to the management system, messaging, app and website. I like how it was an all-in-one program.
Aspetti negativi:
I mostly disliked the constant bombardment of advertisements to upgrade or integrate with some new product they acquired while the ones they had were still running on Tithe.ly 1.0. The lack of support grew worse over time with the little bubble on the bottom right of the screen of Tithe.ly support was anything but helpful just offering up canned responses or links to outdated information or dead pages.

Within one family of software much of what a church needs is available. Also critical is their mission-oriented customer support.
Aspetti negativi:
There are some growing pains and a bit of over-promise not quite yet delivery on their next-gen CMS. We began with Tithely Giving - best-in-class and then Elvanto, a CMS that they bought and integrated. It's a good CMS and they have been working on improving the backbone to allow seamless sync'ing of the various products, but Elvanto is feeling dated now and lacking some love. For example, Tithely Messaging is good but not available directly from Elvanto, and Elvanto features not available yet to Messaging.

Tithe.ly Custom Church app is most useful for us to intergrste live stream, prayer wall, and online giving all in one place.

My least favorite feature is the admin side of things when switching from one program to another you have to login again.

Tithe.ly is amazing for a tiny organization
Commenti: It has been great. We used it at a church where my husband pastored before and chose to set it up for our church plant in our new location.
Aspetti positivi:
We love that it allows us to collect donations without a few other than the processing fee. As we are a small organization with few donations, there is no cost. We also love that tax receipts are easy to compile and send out.
Aspetti negativi:
The inconsistency in when deposits are made. It may depend on the bank itself, but we have one place that gives 1,000 each month. Sometimes that money will go into our account within a week, but there are times it has taken up to two weeks to deposit. We cannot seem to find a reason for this.
This is much needed for new or growing ministries

Customer Service. I rarely ever get answers in a timely manner. They bot only generates articles to read and I have never gotten a suggested article from the Bot that answered my question. Getting in touch with someone is very difficult.

We do use a bot to attempt to send you articles when you contact us, only in an attempt to provide a faster response. Our bot still has some education to do and we'll keep improving on it. You have to try it to believe it!
Commenti: I can't imagine the hours we have saved by using this product. Customer service is easy to reach and quick to respond with answers. And the fact that they're still innovating, adding, and developing means Tithely should stay relevant for years to come.

Tithely gave us the ability to get rid of multiple systems in favor of one! Imagine having a place where giving, messaging, church management, website, mobile app, email, and more all integrate together! Add someone to the database, enroll them in a group, and set up an email subscription all in one spot! Plus having the all-access fee is saving us lots of money.

Integration was easy to set up, but it isn't always easy to educate our users on the things they need to know. I'd love to see easy tutorials for the end user.
An Invaluable Tool!
Commenti: Tithely has streamlined the business end of our non-profit, reduced the need for added personnel, and given us much more peace of mind. Peace of mind is GOOD.

We have so enjoyed the benefits of a website that doesn't need a communications graduate to maintain it! It integrates online charitable contributions, an email newsletter, and intuitive design into one beautiful package. We also love the simplicity of "text to give."
