I guess it has to be, dealing with financials and everything. But, a few more hints or a walkthrough could have made me feel a little less dumb.

Pleo has optimised our financial logistics with 90 % in cost. Workload has dropped immensely.
Aspetti positivi:
The real time auditing between the many in-house projects, is for us the biggest advantage. But also the fact, that our auditor only has to use 20 min!! to place a full year of bookkeeping with more then a 1000 receipts divided into approx 10 in-house projects, with each their account. Also the employees and the project managers find stability in their everyday work and it has improved their experience of ownership and responsibility in the organisation.
Aspetti negativi:
Pleo is still under development, and it shows in terms of solutions can could improve the experience even more. We have contacted Pleo on 3 occasions, identifying needs for improvement. The first two are already under way, and the third, they are looking into at this point.
Absolutely amazing, stress free and fantastic support
Commenti: Clarity from visibility of all transactions. Ability to know who spent what, and giving the staff physical cards has given the whole team a boost (as they feel like they have a part of Tokonatsu with them!) Very minor confusion at the start about PayPal card linking and usage fees, however this was sorted out so quickly and efficiently that we didn't notice any problems

It was very simple to setup the system to get the whole committee setup with Pleo cards. We have full visibility on what is being bought and we are not chasing for receipts anymore. The way our event works, we have always found it hard to keep track of where they are, causing the treasurer stress every year. Now they have access to Pleo, they have been able to get all the details they need at a click of a button.
Expense tool for small business
Commenti: Was the first expense tool we used an for low level of expenses it can be useful and cheap, but we were promised features that were never available, there were many bugs and it took a long time for technical support to fix it. Also when they made changes to the process they didn’t inform us and we had to find out for ourself. For all these reasons we have switched to another tool

The best invention after the credit card
Aspetti positivi:
As a frequent traveller a Pleo card is simply a must! I have cut down time spend on travel reimbursements with 90-100% as Pleo automatically transfers my expenses to my bookkeeping system with the right account information.
Aspetti negativi:
I'm still waiting for the possibility to export cost per project as PDF (incl. receipts) for reimbursement purposes when I have external clients.
Excellent customer service - very helpful and responsive to our queries suggestions
Aspetti positivi:
Easy to use, flexible, intuitive and saves us a considerable amount of time. Provides greater sense of control and visibility over transactions that we didn't have previously.
Aspetti negativi:
It's slightly less suited to larger organisations, but the company listens to all of our suggestions and there are frequent product enhancements, so we expect this to change soon
The card is not well accepted

The card is not good enough for a company. It is not accepted in a lot of places (including google) so at the end we do not use it as much as we want

It's made things so much easier for our team. I like the fact I can easily request new cards - both physical and virtual and set limits for each. The app popping up after a purchase has been made to ask for a receipt massively reduces the number of payments without corresponding invoices.
Aspetti negativi:
charge to withdraw cash is steep to say the least but I appreciate they're trying to reduce reliance on cash. Speeding up the onset of a cashless society perhaps isn't something Pleo need to concentrate on - for now our team sometimes buys things from cash only places.

Pleo Automates Just What I Need
Commenti: I use Pleo for business expenses and the light accounting features. It beats just plainly using a company card.
Aspetti positivi:
Accounting is just a headache and Pleo takes out a big chunk of what used to drive me crazy. It's perfect. It track everything and spits out just what I need. I couldn't ask for anything better.

The setup for Pleo is a little confusing. I guess it has to be, dealing with financials and everything. But, a few more hints or a walkthrough could have made me feel a little less dumb.
A big leap forward in company expense management & control
Commenti: Reduced expense management time, reduced missing invoices & receipts and allow finite control of spending limits for each user and/or department.

Ease of use, individual card limit management, virtual cards for online subscriptions help to reduce fraud risk, easy upload of invoices.
Aspetti negativi:
Simple UK VAT logging option would earn a 5 star rating for 'Features & Functionality', and an option to have a virtual card only at a reduced fee would be useful for us. Wallet uploads need to be within 2 hours, 24/7, 365

I'm part of a remote, fast-growing company. Meaning that you are expected to remove blockers, try tools, be independent, buy your own setup, etc all those kind of stuff that requires a good expense management. Which I was always terrible at before (hello Excel Spreadsheet) but that was before I was exposed to Pleo. Pleo changed my life for the better. No more headaches, no more finance team asking me about the latest invoices, no more monitoring manually how much you spent, no more long and boring review process. Pleo helped me so much that I don't see coming back to managing my professional expenses differently now. HIGHLY recommanded

Pleo has really helped automate our finance function. It is a game changing application and product
Commenti: I no longer need to pay an admin clerk to shift paper. My expenses are properly accounted for and I'm now claiming much more input vat than I used to.
Aspetti positivi:
The best way to account for expenses is certainly at the point of payment. The fact that the Card transaction is matched to documentation by the Card user and pushed straight through to Xero (and vat correctly accounted for) saves hours of paper pushing a month. My employees all feel trusted and empowered and I feel in control. Pleo gets my vote for the most transformative product I've come across since Xero and Receipt Bank took my bookkeeping world by storm. On top of all that the UX of the web and app environment is brilliant and I felt totally supported by the friendly team in what was a very efficient and quick onboarding process.
Aspetti negativi:
The capture of photos of invoices could be enhanced but is by no means a show stopper. It would be good if the app trimmed the space around a piece of paper and straightened it up (see what the new apple notes iOS app does or Evernote)

Beautiful interface and 1-click (almost) bookkeeping is very impressive. I save maybe 2 hour a month on reporting for myself and my teams and I don't have to keep track of my receipts in my pockets.

Would be great if there was some sort of kickback but that's probably not in the EU directive that makes it legal.
Slick product
Commenti: Installing Pleo was all about TIME, time for us, time for the users, time for everyone. Simple and time efficient where a child could use the APP is great.
Aspetti positivi:
Pleo simplifies our corporate card system, allowing an APP based system that is user friendly and simple to use. It saves the finance department at Oakbrook Finance time and effort in taking the admin out of the process.
Aspetti negativi:
As of yet the VAT element being missing, however Pleo are quick to take on board feedback and I'm told this is being worked on to be added soon. Not many companies respond to change this quickly.
What's not to like
Commenti: We managed to get rid of a very clunky system for expenses that required a lot of admin time from staff. Expenses were therefore often delayed. So not only have we made our technical staff more billable, we have also seen an improvement on cash flow!
Aspetti positivi:
Staff are never 'out of pocket', the cards and app are very easy to use on the go and the expenses can be directly exported to our accounting software. Smooth sailing all the way!
Aspetti negativi:
The search function within 'projects' or now called 'tags' in the app is not as easy to use as the one in the web version.

That I can transfer transactions and receipts to my accounting system, it is easy to add funds to our wallet, and i can create new users and order new cards in no time

The project module. I am really looking forward to when the projekt module is up and running. I can still transfer the project costs and receipts to our accounting system but i have to adjust the transactions manually in my system to make sure that they are entered on the right projects

Employees using the cards saves a lot of time and they are all very happy with the solution. Accounting saves a lot of time with the booking - and even more time because we do not need to chase collegues for missing receipts. It is very fast and easy to get new cards for new employees.

Not integrated with our finance system (Uniconta) - we need to attach the receipts manually when the transactions are imported

Commenti: I would really recommend PLEO to other businesses. I think the service is great, it was easy to set up and easy to use overall.

I am really impressed with the ease of using this ap. I find the categories are simplified, yet detailed enough and easy to use. Furthermore, I have experienced several minor issues and each time I have reached out for customer service I have received excellent and attentive customer service!
Aspetti negativi:
One downfall I found, was when I tried to make a purchase online which was over my limit but I hadn't realised. This attempted transaction then froze my card and I was unable to make further payments until speaking to a member of PLEO team. They did tell me after that I could fix the problem in the ap, but I din't find that clear at the time.
It's a no brainer - You can't run a business without pleo - simply as that.

A magic timesaver

With PLEO, I no longer need to worry about tiresome expense reports - either for expenses I incur or that I used to have to sign off in detail. The savings in time and convenience allow to me to focus on building the business instead.

There are *occasionally* expenses I can't use this for - such as in flight purchases... but this is rare.

Pleo makes a process that used to be extremely frustrating (keeping, collecting, recording receipts in a spreadsheet) a genuine pleasure. I love how smooth the experience is from making a payment to snapping a receipt - and then you don't need to worry about it any more. Having categories to tag payments under also make it much easier to track spending in real time. It's just a beautiful product.

Nothing really. One tiny thing is notifications for recurring payments, but they are working on this.
Improve our work efficiency

Card for employees we use everyday spending, easy to manage very employees and export to sage is very convenient to our accountant.

Top up my wallet is not that convenient at this moment, I need to make a transfer from my business account to specificated account with reference number.
Pleo... making expenses easy!
Commenti: Great experience with Pleo. We have different accounts for different projects, the visibility pleo grants you over transactions is amazing.
Aspetti positivi:
It's so easy to use and available across platforms. There's not a triplicate expenses form in site! The ability to instantly see what has been spent and by who is brilliant and it's so easy to upload receipts.
Aspetti negativi:
The only grumble I had was the drag and drop for receipts. If you don't drag in a straight line is very easy to attach a receipt to the wrong statement item. This is a very minor item as you can upload in other ways and it's just as easy to remove an uploaded item.
Great solution to a real problem
Commenti: Great. The app is great and the one time I had to use customer service they were on it really quickly. It's saved me and my colleagues a lot of admin time.

Ease of use: the app loads quickly and when I make a purchase with my card, the notification comes through instantly, which makes it easier to upload receipts.
Aspetti negativi:
The desktop login prompts me to login with email but then I can only login with Google. Slightly confusing at first but not a big deal.
