Commenti: My biggest pain points in selling group trips were online booking and payment processing, and in those two arenas, WeTravel has completely solved my problems and revolutionized my business. The customer service has always been top notch, not to mention the personal conversations that make me feel like a valued customer. I so appreciate that you guys ask me what I'd like to see, and then you actually implement improvements. It feels good to align with a company that is so progressive and wants to keep getting better, which is exactly how I feel about my business too, and WeTravel is helping me get better!Also just for the record, it was horrible when you froze funds during Covid - I hope you never feel like you have to freeze our funds again!

Aspetti positivi:

The online booking and payment processing functions are the real highlights of WeTravel for me. I love the easy integration of the direct to checkout button, payment plans and tracking, low processing fees, money transfer options, and payment and customer database management.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish there were a real function for a full customer database (for example - in the current database, when more than one person is included in a booking, the second person isn't reflected accurately like they don't exist). Also it'd be great if I could customize fields and other info in a database, like how many and which trips a customer has been on (even before I used WeTravel), etc. Perhaps an integration with Wise as well, to easily send money internationally straight from the WeTravel account.

Takes a while to get your money out for tour operators

Commenti: We were approved and signed up with WeTravel, spent countless hours building our tours and launching them on the platform. We told them upfront that we had a sister brand that did Cuba Tours. They said it was not a problem we just needed to sign something. Thinking all was good and approved I acepted bookings through the playform. But there was another process I wasn't told about, that was signing up with Stripe. Stripe has pinged me or bloack listed our company because we have a sister company that does tours in Cuba. Hence our money is stuck in WeTravel and there are no other ways to get it out.

The booking engine seems nice and the staff was nice at first.

Aspetti negativi:

They weren't clear about who their payment processor is, Stripe. It take a long time to get your money out. Not very efficient for a travel company.

The best guest management software!

Commenti: My experience with WeTravel has been great. From product demo to on-boarding, then support along the way. A standout feature of having a subscription is having my own personal rep at WT ([sensitive content hidden]) for support. Although I haven't needed much assistance (since the program is so intuitive), the few times I have, [sensitive content hidden] has been very accessible and helpful. I can't imagine running my business without using WeTravel as my registration software.

Aspetti positivi:

WeTravel makes the entire guest management process simple (on both trip producer and client ends). I'm a sole proprietor and using WT is like having a fully staffed back office for all my administrative needs.

Aspetti negativi:

I have yet to find anything I don't like about the WeTravel system!

it's actually not exactly about WeTravel - but the time it takes from making a wire transfer and receiving - it's inconsistent (it can take just 1 day or 2 - or about a week) To be fair it's more an issue with the international wire transfer than WeTravel themselve

Commenti: Customer experience at WeTravel is terrific. We have been very satisfied with the team and the software. Our daily tasks have become very easy and organized. Since we have less administrative tasks to complete we can now focus on expending and creating more tours!

As a tour operator, having all our data centralized in one software is an essential tool to our success. From clients information to payments to all our available products we can research data and organize it in reports in just a few clicks. The backend interface is clean and very easy to use and our product pages are beautiful. The pop-up booking page directly integrated on our booking site is also a great feature. We have gained so much in productivity and accuracy. No more mistakes from messy excel sheets!

Aspetti negativi:

Would love to be able to customize our booking pages more, but the team is always improving the software and listening to feedback so it is constantly evolving. An offline app would be a great as well for customers to be able to save documents such as itineraries or check-lists. Maybe something to consider for future projects!

Great for an Travel Tour Agency

Commenti: Excellent - While we did list one wish list fix, our overall experience is great. I really like how the team responds quickly via chat and will work with you over little or big issues. Finance is easy with WeTravel and they built a system that looks great.

Aspetti positivi:

We moved to WeTravel for the nice-looking pages and seamless customer experience. It is very easy to use for our customers (in our case members) and for our team on the back end. Payment processing is seamless and we are able to pass credit card fees onto the customer. Refunds are simple and easy as well.

Aspetti negativi:

This system is great for a tour/travel agency that offers very simple experiences. We have more complicated trips and packages that we offer and the simplicity of the system requires us to "make it work". The previous system we used did not look as great, but some of the custom functionality really made the experience better for the end user. Example: Someone signs up for a TOUR. We need 2 required components select. 1) Lodging Option & 2) Flight Option - Right now the system only allows one require component. it would be nice to be able to create groupings of these required components for a trip or tour. We have a workaround by adding everything in "Options" and trying to walk customers through process of selecting those options.

As the owner of an international retreat travel business (SolSeed Retreats) that runs over 20 trips annually, WeTravel has been a huge asset to us! Not only are is their customer service team incredibly helpful and responsive, but their trip registration pages and payment processing features are very user friendly and easy to navigate and set up to your liking. We also love how they are constantly improving their softwares’ functionality and adding new features for payment collection in multiple currencies, vendor payouts, registrant information collection and more. The best part? Their fees are only 1% of your trip’s revenue, which is much less than Square or PayPal. We look forward to continuing to partner with WeTravel for our retreat registration and payment processing for years to come!

Aspetti negativi:

The only con would be information collection. We're still trying to optimize the way we collect info from retreat participants to make it as easeful as possible. WeTravel has some great information collection features, but it would be nice to have more comprehensive and user friendly information collection abilities, or even an app where you can push out notifications to participants, and collect info from them that way.

Easy to use platform

Commenti: Since we made the switch to WeTravel, we have saved time with our initial trip setup, as well as the day to day management of trips. Getting time back so that you can spend it on other things is a huge win. As I have learned to utilize all that the software has to offer, everyone I have talked to/worked with has been incredibly helpful.

WeTravel is incredibly intuitive to use and the customer service is amazing! Our dedicated agent [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is fantastic and keeps me informed about new features as they are added, so that I am getting the most use out of the platform. The ability to either customize an trip or work off of a "stock template" has been great. There are so many great features that are offered, I simply can't list them all! So getting an easy to use platform (for both us and our customers) with an amazing amount of tools to work with has been a game-changer for our company.

Best Thing Ever!

Commenti: I love the payment processing and Itinerary builder. My clients can view the trip, download a brochure and pay all in one place. They send automatic reminders so now I don't have to remember to email clients about payment reminders. They even capture new leads! I love it!

This is definitely an all-in-one for me! I was able to eliminate a few other applications that I was using and paying for. I have everything in one app!

They care about their clients and are very accessible and responsive. The continuing education is very informative and a nice perk. Nice, clean aesthetic that befits a modern tour company.

Aspetti negativi:

They are just starting to scale to bigger companies after working with smaller entities in the past, so not all the features you want are there. Certain features are not as flexible and building a tour is not as dynamic as would be with other companies.

I really like the ease of use of WeTravel for my clients and also for me as a manager. I love the fact the I meet with [sensitive content hidden] quarterly to discuss changes and for him to answer any questions I may have. I also like that he wants to know if I have any recommendations on what would make it even better from a user standpoint. They are always adapting and making the user interface user friendly. WeTravel has definitely elevated my business. I would 100% recommend.

Aspetti negativi:

Some things that I would like to see improved are:1. To be able to nickname my wire transfer accounts. I love that I can now create the account and just go in and select when I want to send a new wire but it would be easier searching all my accounts if I could give it a nickname and not just have it listed by its business name.2. When copying a trip I would like to have a dropdown box so I can select the year instead of having to navigate through multiple months/years to create the trip dates.3. In Upcoming Trips, be able to have the page selection buttons at the top of the page too, just like it is at the bottom.

Decent solution for small businesses

Commenti: WeTravel solves my most urgent and important payment needs: to process group bookings and securely process credit card payments. I like that the booking page looks professional, and I'm excited to try to integrate payment links into my actual website. All that said, my experience has been a little rocky and there are still tons of improvements that they site can implement - hopefully these will come in the future. For the moment, I don't have a better solution to WeTravel so I will keep using it; but I wish a lot of things about it were easier overall.

The most critical aspect for my business was to process credit card and bank transfer payments online, electronically, and securely for groups traveling together. WeTravel lets us do this and has a handy feature to accommodate deposits and installment payments. I like that they added in carbon offsets but don't like that this has to be set at the same level for all travelers in a certain trip.

Aspetti negativi:

I get that it's a "freemium" model but there are quite a few aspects that really hamstring you as a free user (such as they won't remove the WeTravel insurance recommendation even though this is something my company offers to clients as well). But, I find the starting monthly price way too expensive for a small business. Their photo experience on listings is especially terrible. It's hard and time-consuming to get fully verified. I don't like the commission they take for bank transfers (credit cards make sense). Customer support can be a little hit or miss. Sometimes the site is just glitchy. Handling discounts/promos is confusing with WeTravel.

Commenti: We are not a fintech company, and wetravel provides a solution that is very tailored to what we do. As an educational tour operator, we have heavy scrutiny not only on the user experience but on collecting sensitive student data, and with Wetravel we know that we are always in compliant with the requests of our University partners.

Wetravel allows our business to focus on providing the service that is needed and takes care of our user registration, payment processing etc in a very seamless way. It is easy to train team members, provides a great user experience, and simply embeds in our website.

Aspetti negativi:

Wetravel does a great job adding features on a continuous basis. There seems to be some confusion with users coming back to the platform, causing double registrations on certain programs as the user often forgets that they already made a wetravel account and registered for a trip.

It's easy for customers to book their trip, make payments, see the itinerary, etc...

Aspetti negativi:

When they first started there were some limitations, for example families couldn't book for more than one price package at a time which caused confusion. But, every year they are making improvements and adding so much. Now customers can easily book many different options and packages.

Easy for a first timer, low fees, supportive, Love it

Commenti: Its made me look and feel smarter and professional. LOL. Figuring out how to be a tour operator is crazy work, so it was nice that this platform was pretty straightforward. It had everything I could think of wanting in a standard and slightly customizable way but not so customaizable that I'd get lost. It kept me from overthinking and over tweaking things. Mostly, it did exactly what I needed it to in providing a professional payment processing experience to customers and then having the lowest fees of all the softwares.

The ease of learning this platform was a huge asset as I juggle a lot as a solo entrepreneur. The low fees and Stripe implementation I love and it's made collecting and processing a payment worlds easier than I thought it would be .

Aspetti negativi:

I don't likke that you have to run your first tour and get reviews to be vetted. Initially, I wasn't crazy that the reviews need to exist on WeTravel and so we must direct customers there, when it would be more profitable to have them else where. I'm glad I'm not a tour operator who needs reviews on Trip Advisor b/c this would've boned me. There's small tweaks in the platform which weren't obvious to me that I had to email customer support to ask how it works. However, customer support is very responsive and often I got a response in good time.

Constant itinerary updating, easy formatting when copying over, handles photos well, access to trip via links instead of attachments, allows for easy bank transfer option. Looks good and professional!

Team member mgmt access should improve, along with review process, price should show per person and work to simply several other key processes.

Commenti: We could not have survived COVID without WeTravel. It enabled us to keep our reservations in tact with minimal staff then helped us grow exponentially when travel came back, again with minimal staff.

WeTravel is extremely user friendly for the admins and clients alike. The company is extremely responsive to troubleshoot problems and innovative to keep enhancing the capabilities.

Aspetti negativi:

The one missing element is the capacity to manage room inventory and generate room lists. But I believe they’re working on it!
