Live to invite with EVITE!

Commenti: Phenomenal. I tired 3 other apps and they were all terrible, slow, and buggy. This one was great off the bat. So I waited until 3 days before my birthday to plan my party. Admittedly my procrastination here was short sighted but it was only because I was avoiding having to use an annoying app that would take more time than I wanted. Once I broke down and tried this I was amazed at how simple and intuitive this was. Then I felt dumb for procrastinating lol. The next party was planned much more in advance thanks to this app!

Aspetti positivi:

The simplicity in the set up of the app. The attendee management was awesome. Imported straight from my contacts. I was going to use some other application on my desktop, but it required emails, so that was a no go. The notifications were on point too.

Aspetti negativi:

Hmm, not really anything.I have no complaints about this app.

Need to eliminate drop downs - just show the details to the guests!

Commenti: Overall good experience. Evite needs to change the layout of the invitation so it is easy to see important information without drop downs. I should not have to send out multiple messages to guests on how to read the invitation!

Aspetti positivi:

Easy to track and contact guests Love the "What to Bring" feature for potluck, but wish it was easier for people to see - too many people miss it and you need to send out too many messages as reminders and instruction on how to read the invitation.

Aspetti negativi:

To see details about the event, reader must click on a small "show more" drop down. It is not necessary and most of my guest miss it. It leads to confusion and guest miss out on important info. Evite should just show all the detail without having to search for it or click on a drop down!

Evite Review

Aspetti positivi:

The pros of Evite is that is makes it really easy to invite a big group of people at the same time for an event. It also makes it easy to rsvp to any event that I am invited to.

Aspetti negativi:

There are no cons with this system, It is super fun and easy to use and very convenient.

For small local events, easy way to track RSVPs

Commenti: I use Evite 8 to 10 times per year. I host local events and want to keep track of the RSVP count. It's easier to have Evite automatically send out event reminders.

Aspetti positivi:

Good email delivery overall. Some will always go to spam but Evite has been used for years and most people are familiar with it and have it whitelisted.

Aspetti negativi:

I find it tedious to add RSVPs manually if I'm using it just to send out event reminders for those who verbally RSVP for an event.

Great Event Management Tool

The number of ads on and pop-ups seems to have increased recently

Events with Evite

Commenti: I loved using evite. It also helps me keep track of my events, especially if I have more than one going on at a time. The use and ease of not having to mail anything out snail mail really saves me time and money.

Aspetti positivi:

I love that I can upload and import my contacts so that I do not have to manually enter all the data myself. This saves me so much time when needing to prepare by guest list.

Aspetti negativi:

Not EVERY single theme is available and that is really not the fault of Evite. I have special things in my life that I like to plan events around, but I still love Evite even if it does not offer a certain theme I am thinking of.

No More Stamps!

Commenti: I Love Evite because there are so many creative invites and themes to choose from. I also don't need to use postage to send invites via post office anymore!

Perfect tool for beginners!

The ease in setting up events and tracking attendees is jewel of this platform. They offer numerous templates to set up the perfect event.

The one drawback of Evite is that you cannot import videos to use in your invitations.

Easy and simple to use

Commenti: Good, and gets the job done in the free version. If you want more options then you need to pay, but if you are on a budget this is a great option

I wish the free version had more options. The paid version still doesn't have all the fuctions I would want, compared to other websites

Using it for thank you notes!

Aspetti positivi:

My mom would not appreciate that we're sending electronic thank you notes, but my mom isn't running our company! We needed to send thank yous, but no one on staff had the time/attention to this kind of detail to send hard copies. So we use evites virtual thank you note service, you can use their cards or upload artwork of your own.

Aspetti negativi:

Sometimes get caught in spam filters, especially with folks using older email service providers.

Great Way to Invite Employees to Events

Commenti: I love using Evite. It allows me to keep an accurate count of attendees. People can upload photos, reminders are sent out. It is great!

I like the variety of invitations and events that you can send invites for. I also like that you can send out invitations via text or email. I also like that you can keep track of who has viewed the invitation.

EVITE Helps with All Functions

I loved how easy Evite was to use to schedule faculty gatherings, birthdays, and other special occasions.

You need to make sure to set reminders, so you know updated guest lists.

Evite is Efficient

Commenti: Overall my experience with Evite has been quite efficient and convenient. I always get excited when I receive an Evite because I know there is an event coming up, and I can quickly type "Evite" into my Gmail search bar and the emails and information I want pop up, rather than finding an invitation I might have misplaced somewhere. And there have been times when I left my house and realized I do not have the address, and in those moments I do not have the hard copy invitation I can easily look up the details in my email. I love Evite and would recommend this software to anyone who wants a centralized location for all of their event's RSVP's and so that their guests have convenient access to all the details.

What I love most about Evite is that it is a fast and efficient way to contact all your guests at once and have a centralized place to view RSVP's. I have gotten invited to many events via Evite, which is convenient for both the hosts and the guests. All of the details for the event are one click away within a link guests receive directly in their email. You even have the option to directly "RSVP Now" or to simply view the invitation once you open the email. Evite even allows hosts to customize their invitations with images they can upload, which makes this online invitation still personal rather than having one boring template for everyone. Evite even has options for the hosts to take a poll or ask a question, for example to see which meal guests would prefer, or to see if anyone has any dietary restrictions, etc. Overall, Evite is extremely user friendly and makes throwing a party or attending a party very easy in terms of making sure everyone is on the same page.

What I like least about this software, is that hosts will have to gather and input an extensive list of emails for all of their guests, but that is just part of the "work" hosts have to do in order to host an event and this is still one of the easier ways to invite people (as opposed to mailing each addressed envelope for example). One other "con" about this software is that I get email notifications from every single guest's comment. Sometimes I do not need to know what comments guests leave such as if they are commenting on what meal they want, or why they cannot attend the event. Also, sometimes the layout feels a bit unorganized and requires maneuvering around several pages at times in order to find what details you are looking for.

paper-less invitations made easy

Commenti: Save your time and your guest's time by not sending out paper invitations that require mail and postage. Save the environment by not sending out paper invitations. Online invitations through Evite make everyones lives easier.

You can now invite people to events via text message instead of email through Evite. I like the pretty invitations that Evite makes and how the website is so easy to use. I like how you can view the guest list (if the host makes this viewable to other guests) and most importantly, you can easily RSVP to events via Evite. You can add photos after the event onto the same link as the invitation, to share them with other people who attended the event. Under the activity log you can see other people's responses. And if it is a party that you're invited to, you can even send a gift instantly by clicking the "send a gift instantly" link that is attached to the event reminder email. The evite invitation themselves are pretty great; just like regular invitations they have the name, contact info, location, time and date of the event.

Aspetti negativi:

I don't like that I receive emails from them even when I'm not being invited to an event. However, they do partner with other companies and offer "partner offers" in some of their emails that fill up my mailbox.

Perfect for any occasion

Aspetti positivi:

Evite is incredibly easy to use, on the computer and even on the phone. My parents, friends, and coworkers have all used Evite without any difficulties (and some are less technologically savvy than others). I have used Evite for birthdays, parties, work gatherings, and bridal showers and have never had a problem. In addition to emailing an invitation, you also have the option to extend the invitation via text, which is an awesome alternative for those friends who do not check their emails regularly. Once an event has passed, the event moves into a "Past" category which allows you to still access the original initivation later if needed (i.e. for pictures, email addresses, etc.). Evites are easily edited and personalized, I highly recommend it!

Like with anything new, there is a learning curve for navigating the Evite app. However, it does not take long to learn how to manage and edit invitations through the app.

Evite Makes Sending out Event Notifications Much Easier

Commenti: I do like Evite alot since it allows one to send out well designed invitations to one's events and to keep track of the rsvps.

Aspetti positivi:

Evite lets you create your own custom invitations for events. I like the fact that there are some well designed templates to choose from. You can keep track of your guests rsvps . It also keeps track of your rsvps to events that others are hosting. And you can use it to add to your online calendar to keep organized. Lots of really great features.

Aspetti negativi:

It does have a "party" vibe so this would not be a good tool for hosting any Zoom like meetings.

Customizable and user friendly

Aspetti positivi:

These days everything is electronic! Evite fits right in with how everyone communicates and allows me to send customizable invitations to people's emails. This helps them respond quickly, they can search for it later when they need the info, and I can see who has viewed it an NOT replied yet as a way to follow up.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish some of the text placement would be able to be moved around as I desire, or if I wanted to add/take away a picture, I wish I could do that regardless of the template design I had selected.

Evite Review

Commenti: I use evite for all of my invitation needs, I would have used it for my wedding if most of the people were computer savy. It's a great program and it's free if you choose free invites. I love it.

The pro's of evite: they have free invitations you can send, the ones that aren't free are not expensive. They have invitations for everything. They send you reminders and have easy communications with the people that say they'll attend or haven't responded. Evite offers an eco friendly way to send invitations.

Aspetti negativi:

There is nothing that I do not like about evite. It's a great option for events instead of using paper. It has easy tracking and everything you need and it's inexpensive.

Evite: Useful for creating and receiving invitations

Commenti: I have attended many events to which I was invited through Evite. The software allows me to connect with friends and is easy to use.

I have received many invitations using this software, and like that it is straightforward to use. I can easily see who sent it to me and what the event details are.

Can't really think of any negative features--it is easy to create invitations and send them, and also easy to see event details for invitations.

Commenti: Evite saves a lot of time and makes my invitation appears professional without much hassle.

I like the idea of sending invitation creatively. I host some of my stitching workshops monthly basic and I just send all the invitation using email. Now with evite it is easy and headless. All my teammates get the reminder of the invitation that I have sent them. It is one less work for me. To create an invitation set the date and upload my design, and done. I import all my contacts from google and send them an invitation. They will get a reminder automatically. I have more time to get the other important work done. This is so helpful.

Great for invitations

Commenti: It’s easy to use and keep track of people that are coming instead of searching for people and asking them if they are coming.

The site doesn’t let you know if an email is wrong or if come one didn’t get the email so if you don’t have your emails correct the person might never get an invite

Great Way to Save Money on Paper Invitations!

Aspetti positivi:

What a great site! It's been around a long time for a reason. Most of us want to save money and also spend lots of time on our phones. So why don't we do online invitations? Evite has tons of free invitations to choose from for almost every event you could imagine!

Aspetti negativi:

I wish the how-to's of sending these online invites and collecting RSVPs was a little more front and center on the homepage and on the site. It's great that we can design an online invitation, but having a quick, succinct how-to on the home page or even an easy link could help first-time users.

Must have for organizing an event

Commenti: Makes it easy to plan an event, especially with multiple hosts.

Aspetti positivi:

It keeps all of my attendee/invites super organized so I know who's received the invitation and who's actually coming! It also integrates Google contacts, which is very helpful.

I do receive spam occasionally, and I do wish there were more cost-effective options for sending out bulk invitations.
