Commenti: Using Site24x7 is fantastic. Monitoring of services is much easier.

I love the proactive monitoring capability of Site24x7. Because it uses multiply sites or datacentres in it services , you are able to pick quickly from the dashboard when services starts degrading. With it RUM feature, it is easy to monitor the user experience of customers from multiple locations and even tell what users are doing wrong.

Aspetti negativi:

I just do not like the plenty alerts sent when degradation starts

Site 24x7 simple but powerful!

Commenti: Overall, my experience has been great if not excellent. Their suite of applications provide a “one stop shop” for almost all IT related support software. The ease of implementation coupled with the extensive capabilities of the product greatly outperform competitors and the best part, it’s priced just right.

1. Setup is a breeze 2. Very intuitive, easy to navigate, and understand the various functions 3. Included features actually add value and are not hidden behind paywalls 4. Free trial

1. Application support can be better. While responses are prompt, support typically points you to help documentation that may have already been read. Sometimes human assistance is preferred. 2. Custom report creation could be more straightforward. I found it difficult to create certain report types in which i needed to select all for attributes\groups but didn't find the option easily

Great monitoring services for MSPs

Commenti: We've been using Site24x7 for multiple years now to externally monitor external FW/Router interfaces, URLs, and SSL Certs. The product is consistent and accurate in reporting failures according to the set thresholds, with no false positives whatsoever.

Aspetti positivi:

1- Permanent links to provide to our customers. 2- Dedicated customer login portal. 3- On-prem pollers. 4- Custom dashboards 5- Scheduling automations. 6- Integrations with PSA platforms.

Aspetti negativi:

1- The admin GUI could be a bit tricky, with multiple "Admin" tabs at each customer level. 2- Inability to generate historical logs/events for monitors if they are in a failure state. 3- Support could take a while to investigate a case.

Commenti: I would say it was good. support and pre sales was a help. also was able to get a bit of a walk though the portal which i recommend.

number of things you can monitor and customize. they have a new pricing method now which is not as complicated.

Aspetti negativi:

UI takes a bit getting used to, there is so many places you can go for stuff. you can get some monitors up and running pretty quick but i think it would take a week or 2 to get it all pretty and done up nice with all the reporting you want for a small business. if you are large it will take a month or more to install modules and getting reporting out and to a site to report it.

Site24x7 does a good job of monitoring our website uptimes, makes it easy to set things up for multiple users to get alerts via email, SMS, and phone, and is very cheap considering the cost of having our website down while we're running PPC ads.

No complaints - it's exactly what I need in this service. If anything, it has too many options that I don't need, but that's ok.

I have been using the product for 3 years and it has worked wonders for me. The ticket tracking is very useful, and the call and SMS alerts have made the department proactive in addressing an incident, allowing for minimal possible impact of the incident. I highly recommend this product 100%.

Aspetti positivi:

Monitor creation! Implmentation was super easy, we just had to give the url for our APIs and the website, and there are multiple monitor options to choose from. Also, it was easy to integrate with our Alerting app Pagerduty. We have set up daily monitors and checks on website and API.

Aspetti negativi:

Learning curve is steep for this tool. It takes time to set up the monitor first time.

Strong platform and cost/benefit is good.

Commenti: Nice interface, moderate to easy setup, i couldn't install some agents (eg. java) for another ME application (SDP) or couldn't find helpful documentation. The basic monitors work great, not so easy to tune, though. I've used other complicated platforms like NewRelic and this one is relatively easy to setup and mantain, aimed towards SME market. Also, the pricing is much more affordable.

Good out of the box solution.

Commenti: It works great out of the box, super easy to setup, and support has always been VERY fast to respond to, and fix any issues we've had.

The site is easy to use and setup is a breeze. We use it to monitor servers, networks and websites. I like that it automatically adds numerous monitors for other server roles when the agent is installed (SQL, IIS, etc etc).

Aspetti negativi:

I think the only thing is is lacking, is a more robust granular alerting system. That being said, it offers what I think are similar options as all of it's competitors, and most of the time you need a 3rd party service to have SUPER granular alert setups.
