Opmanager is a fantastic network monitoring tool at a fantastic price
Commenti: Opmanager has been great for us. I feel like our network team is constantly finding new functions or features we didn't realize it had. It has so much that you have a challenging time taking it all in.
Aspetti positivi:
Price. Like all ME products, they are very competitive with their pricing. For a non-profit like us, value really matters.Functionality. We get everything we'd every want from a solution without being nickle and dimed like other competitors. Opmanager does it all and can be customized for any type of network setup.Integration. Being able to have Opmanager integrate with Sdplus and other ME products really allows all our tools to work together as a cohesive whole.
Aspetti negativi:
The time it takes for product support can to get back with you can be a little longer than anticipated. SSO needs some work. They have it down in some of their other products and I wish they'd pull over some of that successful code. Especially SSO when using the iphone app.
Alternative considerate: Auvik e SolarWinds Service Desk
Perché scegliere ManageEngine OpManager: Auvik was very pricey and had TOO much information, but not showing a lot of relevant info without a ton of changes.
Software precedente: Auvik
Perché passare a ManageEngine OpManager: Cost combined with the features we got for that price. This is on top of the integration we got with other ME products we already had.
Great Infrastructure monitoring tool at a reasonable price
Commenti: It has been great so far. It's working well for us. We like that it's easy to setup & intuitive. Customer/ Tech support is always fantastic whenever we need help.
Aspetti positivi:
We are using a few of their products. They work well, easy to use, intuitive. Their support team is knowledgeable & easy to work with. - Easy to setup. - Reasonable pricing. - We like the agentless monitoring. - Support team helped us during/ before/ after implementation.
Aspetti negativi:
- Vmware physical CPUs cannot be monitored. There are 24 virtual CPUs & once the physical CPU goes over the threshold, there are too many alerts. - URL monitoring - kerberos is not supported. - Downtime alerts - OP manager & App manager have separate downtime scheduler. One overall downtime schedule would be convenient.
Alternative considerate: PRTG e Zabbix
Perché scegliere ManageEngine OpManager: It was being managed by a third party vendor. We wanted to bring it in-house to save money & to have a greater flexibility.
Software precedente: PRTG
Perché passare a ManageEngine OpManager: We are using a few of their products. They work well, easy to use, intuitive. Their support team is knowledgeable & easy to work with.
Opmanager Review
Commenti: It has greatly improved our monitoring capabilities.
Aspetti positivi:
Timely and accurate alarms. The user interface is easy to use.
Aspetti negativi:
Servicedesk Plus integration needs some work to better integrate the two systems. User management is cumbersome.
Decent Solution At A Reasonable Cost, But You Get What You Pay For
Aspetti positivi:
We appreciate the ability to automate certain troubleshooting tasks by creating workflows. It's a basic feature, but makes a big difference for us.
Aspetti negativi:
We consistently find issues where we have to report a problem or bug and wait for it to be resolved by another release, which inevitably breaks something else. We're in a constant state of having to update the software.

Network Visibility with OpManager
Commenti: ManageEngine OpManager is a network monitoring and management tool which simplifies visibility over the networking infrastructure, with its multiple functionalities divided into modules you can fully know the performance of both your network infrastructure and network traffic which can ensure that you can mitigate issues or faults before their occurrence.
Aspetti positivi:
Ease of set up Agentless monitoring is supported which simplifies monitoring and management
Aspetti negativi:
Some of the modules dont integrate perfectly, in terms of moving data between modules.
Opmanager is the easiest way to get a good insight in your systems and network for a fair price
Commenti: For an acceptable price and easy to understand licensing (not like MS) you get a lot of functionality. If something is not working or not clear you just make a support ticket and most of the time they just call you, and using remote control they guide you through the process of configuration/setup. If some bug is detected or feature should be changed there is a Service Pack launched within days ! Just the best support organisation I ever contacted ...!
Aspetti positivi:
The intuitive way to use the setup of devices and alerting for specific alarms. The Netflow plug-in is just the best to troubleshoot hick-ups on any LAN/WAN link.
Aspetti negativi:
The rewriting/redesign of version 12 took some time to get used and to find again my way in the features/menus.
Alternative considerate: PRTG
Perché scegliere ManageEngine OpManager: The free Nagios or other alike platforms are nice but need a lot of setup issues to solve ... With OpManager and Netflow plugin it is all in the software included.
Software precedente: Nagios Core
Perché passare a ManageEngine OpManager: PRTG is maybe alike to OpManager but its pricing structure is not so interesting and the intuitive way of presenting things is not so "easy"...
Easy to install, easy to maintain
Aspetti positivi:
How easy to install and integrate the system with all the other infra components.
Aspetti negativi:
Dealing with the support for resolving some technical issues could sometimes be challenging, as sometimes we get 2 or three different replies from different support agents on the same ticket!
Multiple Features Monitoring
Commenti: Very good experience overall with great visibility and reporting for Devices management
Aspetti positivi:
Multiple level monitoring various types of Devices and applications in one place makes it very comfortable management.
Aspetti negativi:
Slowness and Sync issues sometimes which is little bit annoying
I highly recommend OpManager for any network monitoring and performance
Aspetti positivi:
Customer support, Ease of implementation, Ease of use, Ease of integration
Aspetti negativi:
2FA is not streamlined. Sometimes the OTP delays locking you out of the system

Commenti: Extremely satisfied, been a client for 19+ yrs.

All in one product
Commenti: i am getting instant alerts, bandwidth usage per port and connections, i can setup netflow and get app usage, firewall usage and rules monitoring, i am monitoring any device which has network connection.
Aspetti positivi:
I like the most is the representation of the network in a map. The feature is called business view where i can add my different campuses in a google map and get several information through that. I actually have the map running in a big monitor and can see whether the connectivity is green or red. Also layer 2 maps where i can create maps within a site.
Aspetti negativi:
setting up alarms might be difficult. sometimes you product MIB not there.

there is no much to tell on this least its a complete pack tool
OpManager - Just works
Commenti: We needed a product that we could tie in network optimization with an ability to monitor multiple systems. OpManager fits the bill in many ways. We can use OpManager to keep track of our networked UPS devices, so that when there is any latency, load, failures, etc. that we can proactively act on them. We can use OpManager to create layer2 maps of our different locations for audit purposes. We use it to display a NOC Dashboard for our data Center. The ability to implement the product easily and give it purpose was immediate. We have found that the product has paid for itself with maintained uptime monitoring as well as response time decrease. We had a single application that was necessary to run on a server to process an automated filing process to occur. This application failed at 8:00 Monday. At 8:01 we identified the issue before anyone knew what happened and it did not disrupt the business. This timeliness is key when our members depend on our response time.
Aspetti positivi:
3d Visualization of our server room with live visuals of server status ability to workflow jobs and servers. ability to map the workflow to better problem solve when issues arise. NOC board for our data center Layer 2 mapping of our remote locations
Aspetti negativi:
While the appearance of the product is clean, it has a clunky feel. Moving between the application has slowness Not entirely user friendly
User-friendly UI Network Monitoring
Commenti: It is good monitoring application
Aspetti positivi:
It is very user-friendly UI, even for beginner. Very easy in deployment. But still deliver what we want from monitory platform.
Aspetti negativi:
Minor update is often released. So it will make administrator takes time every upgrade process
Alternative considerate: Network Performance Monitor
Perché passare a ManageEngine OpManager: Easy to deploy, user-friendly UI
Essential software for network monitoring at a reasonable cost
Commenti: Exceptional. I could not run the networks as efficiently as I currently am without this software.
Aspetti positivi:
On prem, allows complete control. The cost is something I can still afford. We are not a large business, just spread out over a large geographical area. Once it is setup, it really is just sit and watch.
Aspetti negativi:
The licensing modules are complex. The one product has a different license for almost every module it uses.
OpManager is a great tool and highly configurable, though configuration sometimes can be convoluted.
Commenti: Overall, we have insight into our most critical assets which keeps the environment healthy and uptime at it's peak.
Aspetti positivi:
I like how configurable the tool is, and I like that we can connect to it through their API. Also, their support is extra responsive when we initiate chats with them within the application.
Aspetti negativi:
It can be difficult to configure certain aspects of the system due to how it's laid out. Also, certain things that should be able to be configured aren't without a logical reason why they couldn't be given how robust the tool is.
Efficient network monitoring
Commenti: OpManager offers a set of advantages that allow it to adapt to the needs of the company, guaranteeing effective monitoring of the application networks used in our organization.
Aspetti positivi:
It has an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. The initial setup went smoothly and in a decent amount of time. It allows you to effectively visualize critical services and quickly identify problems. Server performance monitoring can run equally efficiently on Windows and Linux operating systems.
Aspetti negativi:
This is a powerful and easy-to-use monitoring platform, although you need to have a deep understanding of all its features to take full advantage of its capabilities.
ManageEngine OpManager, Great Product!
Commenti: Very satisfied customer!
Aspetti positivi:
Logic functionality, flexibility, ease of use and vrty clear interface.
Aspetti negativi:
Sometimes configuring health parameters for a group of objects is a bit demanding and not as clear.
Robust solution for IT infrastructure monitoring
Commenti: OpManeger offers versatility and fluidity in IT infrastructure monitoring. It allows executing a detailed analysis of the performance of the IT infrastructure and an optimal verification of the use and operation of the networks.
Aspetti positivi:
Easy to use for performance monitoring and easy to manage network operations. It provides detailed and valuable information on the traffic of our networks. It allows to obtain graphical reports in real time on the performance of the networks.
Aspetti negativi:
I think more documentation can be added to make the most of its full potential. The initial configuration of the alarms is confusing.
Comprehensive IT Infrastructure Monitoring application
Aspetti positivi:
Intuitive map creation and agent less monitoring make it unique than others.
Aspetti negativi:
We are using this tool from last 5 years. We cannot find any dislike.
save time
Commenti: all our requirement is meet and report is as per our requirement.
Aspetti positivi:
implemention is easy and easy to monitor all system
Aspetti negativi:
not require any other improvement and add on product added on same software.
Alternative considerate: ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus
Great product for its money
Commenti: Overall, this product is well-made for people who need an overview of their entire network and can be very useful for troubleshooting problems.
Aspetti positivi:
One of the best features of this product is having an overview of all the equipment in one place and you can easily monitor the status of your network.
Aspetti negativi:
if the failover function were part of the standard tier would be great.
ManaEngine OpManager - Watching all your devices - 24/7
Commenti: OpManager monitors our servers for up/down time, also logistical for resource management, like storage space, high utilization o0n RAM/CPU etc
Aspetti positivi:
Ease of installation and setup, configuring the monitors and SMS alerts
Aspetti negativi:
The current interface. The previous interface was more intuitive and easy to use

Hey Upasana, thanks for your valuable feedback. This drives us to keep improving our products.
Very good tool for monitoring the network and servers
Commenti: It is an efficient tool that does what it promises and is quite affordable. It has helped us a lot to respond in time to incidents in the infrastructure
Aspetti positivi:
It allows proactive monitoring to help us react before the unavailability of services occurs
Aspetti negativi:
It does not have native monitoring of network traffic, only through an addon with additional cost
