Altamente Personalizzabile, Ottimo per Dati Complessi

Aspetti positivi:

Ottimo per banche dati molto complesse. E' l'anello di congiunzione - da fruitore finale - tra sistemi di dashboard più complessi e la facilità di creare una pivot table. E' possibile customizzare inserendo diversi campi e diversi filtri, da parte del cliente finale, in maniera molto autonoma. E' quindi possibile utilizzare e incrociare dati anche da diverse fonti, tra varie organizzazioni aziendali, senza il coinvolgimento di un BI per ogni operazione.

Aspetti negativi:

Spesso è molto lento a caricare, immagino dipenda dal set dei dati inseriti - certo, se la velocità non segue le possibilità di customizzazione, il tool perde un asset fondamentale. La curva di apprendimento iniziale è molto ripida, proprio per le funzionalità e la capacità di incrociare diversi input - la documentazione spesso non è all'altezza del tool, in riferimento a queso.

There is a lot of visualisation options and data blending can be done which is helpful too

It is not self intuitive and can be quite frustrating to use until you get familiar with the tool

Looker has a tendency to hang/freeze if you're working on reports with a lot of elements. You sometimes have to simple close the browser and reopen it to avoid oddball errors.

Mapping Complex Relationships with Google LookerML

Commenti: Being a Data analyst requires a Good BI tool and using Google looker has been a great experience for me. I am impressed with the user-friendly interface, easy to understand data modelling, and integration with other google tools like google sheet and google docs. However, there were sometimes I encountered issues with large datasets. Overall, I would say it's been a great experience.

My most liked feature of google looker is LookML which has been a great helped me made complex data relationships easier and saved me a lot of time. Moreover, looker has a plethora of customizable visualizations which also has ability to add advanced drill down to make it more interactive. Also, with google looker reports can be delivered by specific schedules.

Aspetti negativi:

Occasional lags are there when I process large data sets which I feel is a downside. Also, ETL feature is missing in Google looker which I find disappointing as it should be already there.

Commenti: Given that any tool providing the features that Looker does, I do not think that any alternatives would eliminate the difficulties sometimes experienced with Looker. Therefore it is a strong choice, particularly for reporting automation and visualisation

The most I like at Looker that I can import data from multiple sources automatically. Is very that all data is up to date when needed. Another helpful thing is sharing the dashboard with other so the reports are available to all who needs any info.

The most important feature for me is that you can import all sort of data into looker. After importing creating a dashboard with information you need, charts and graphs is a easy thing. It doesn't follow the same data schema and handle objects from salesforce the same way so we have had to manipulate various fields to make Looker connect properly. The data quality doesn't always match salesforce.
