Alcune funzionalità possono essere migliorate ad esempio l’interfaccia la reputo un po’ arretrata e non a passo con i tempi e le altre app del momento però per il resto la trovo un’app che può dare ancora tanto al pubblico.

Commenti: Nel complesso, se non si sa quale software utilizzare per visionare documenti in formato PDF, oppure se si vogliono apportare modifiche ad un documento, consiglio di utilizzare questo software. La sua semplicità permette di essere utilizzato anche da chi non è esperto nel settore.

Aspetti positivi:

Il software è fatto molto bene per quello che offre. E' semplice e molto chiaro da utilizzare, ha poche funzioni ma sono tutte curate nel dettaglio, e a parte qualche piccolo bug, anche il tempo di lavoro viene ridotto se lo si utilizza nel modo corretto.

Aspetti negativi:

Ritengo che potrebbe essere migliorato nonostante sia semplice nelle sue funzioni. Sono presenti piccoli bug, che potrebbero infastidire l'utente, ma che si risolvono in autonomia abbastanza in fretta.

Lettore PDF gratuito, con tutte le funzionalità per la ricerca e per annotazioni. È anche possibile inserire un timbro personalizzato.

Don't see myself ever going back to Adobe Acrobat

Commenti: It sounds corny, but I now look forward to working with PDF files. The software has worked flawlessly. With it, I get my work done quickly and easily. As I said, for some reason, the work (at least, this part of my work) almost seems fun when using PDF-XChange.

Like most folks, I frequently need to view PDF files as this is how most documentation is deployed. On top of that, I also need to print out Microsoft Word documents and combine the files together into user manuals, as well as edit them. This software lets me do all of that and more. Even though PDF software might have the features you need, I want them to be intuitive. It's frustrating to spend a lot of time hunting and searching for what you need. PDF-XChange has done a pretty good job making it easy to accomplish what you set out to do. Finally, I guess that I am a "power-user". I get annoyed when I cannot customize the user interface so that just the tools I want are quickly available. For PDF software, this becomes even more important because I want to be able to easily configure the screen layout for reading different types of documents -- and the navigation tools have to be convenient and intuitive as it seems I'm rarely reading sequentially through the pages like a novel. I'm happy to say that PDF-XChange allowed me to customize the user interface with an extremely high degree of flexibility. It seems to let you configure almost anything - but, I didn't find that it was too difficult to figure out. Overall, I can't speak too highly of their software.

I'm struggling to find a fault with the software. Thus far, I haven't found a feature that's disappointed me. Oh, I know one, it would be great if they offered a version for the Mac OS!

Besy PDF reader and editor

Commenti: I am very comfortable to use the reader due to its functionality. I believe it will keep evolving for days to come.

I can do every possible thing I may expect from a PDF editor. For instance, I can edit, change, sign, and convert.

It is quite expensive. It needs to add some more features like a tick mark, etc.

Better than some but missing essentials

Commenti: Working on a digitizer originally, this was far superior by allowing measurement information to be stored on the plans digitally but it's missing the mark when it comes to compiling total takeoff data. I still use it to measure 1 pagers but there are better software programs out there for larger, more complex jobs for sure.

The user interface was very easy on my computer and I was able to measure manually fairly quickly overall. Coming from using a digitizer or the measuring pen, it made a significant difference in gathering and storing takeoff information.

Aspetti negativi:

There's no way to find the totals of what I measured without an excel sheet full of formulas. It's ok for small jobs but the more complex the sheet, the longer it takes to gather all that information.

pdf Exchange - better than Acrobat?

Commenti: I love this software and switched from Acrobat. I found Acrobat had "dumbed down" the interface so much i was continually looking through menus to find a function. Not to mention the outrageous cost of Adobe products in general.

Some powerful features are hard to find and implement. Also the default setup/ interface didnt suit me but if you go into settings its possible to have it start and operate exactly to your preferences.

Best for handling massive PDF files

It is always easy to read and edit files on this software. I use it for huge files requiring virtual printing. I can confess that it is the best tool in my list already. The tool is easy to use even for newbies. Annotations is a great feature for me. I find PDF-XChange very appropriate. It is cost effective too.

Great Alternative to Adobe Acrobat

PDF-XChange provides a wide range of features that work well and can be used instead of Adobe Acrobat. Since switching to PDF-XChange, I have had no need to use Adobe Acrobat.

The ability to annotate PDFs could be improved. I use another product (PDF Annotator) for that purpose because it is more flexible and easier to use than PDF X-Change.

If you have experienced delays in PDF handling be it creating, editing, annotating and signing of PDF files, then you have not tried PDF-XChange tool. It handles things professionally and the results is presentable. I have enjoyed documents conversion and printing at hand for the longest time now.

Don't look for flaws. PDF-XChange is perfect. Nothing is challenging about it. It is the best solution.

The price-point is good; it's not stupidly expensive. It's crazy easy to use. It does so many of the regular things we need: add, delete, or rearrange pages; add text, notes, highlights, etc.; add stamps to one or all pages; rotate; convert to JPG; extract text; snip image; pixel calculations...

Best easy to use pdf reader

Aspetti positivi:

This is the best pdf reader software. You can do a lot of things. Including converting accross file types. Eg pdf to word. You can also do spelling check on your document. You can edit pdf documents. You can add annotations. You can attach other file types like audio and images.

So far I seem to like everything about the software

Better Than Adobe Acrobat (99% of the time)

Commenti: It was a replacement for Adobe Acrobat 9 that I previously used. I didn't want to go to the subscription-based software, and I actually ended up LOVING this software much better than I ever did with Acrobat. And that's saying a lot - I was a very brand-loyal Adobe user!

The interface is so easy to use - much easier than Acrobat! The menus are more easily customized, and functionality seems much easier to find. The "Add Text" feature is my favorite. It's so much easier to pinpoint exactly where I want to insert the text and then to adjust it to where I want it to be. And it is also easier to adjust the size, typeface, etc. It's so intuitive, and I like the interface better than any of its competitors. Best of all, it was so much more reasonably priced! In my office, three of us have the Tools package and one of us has the PRO package. We use it daily. I use it to prepare annotated reports for clients and redline drawings when we close out construction projects. It's so nice to have easily-manipulated tools! We've also just begun using the batch tools. I am a huge fan of this software!

The only thing I don't like about this software is that it does not have the ability to automatically detect fields when creating forms. The Tracker Software team has promised in the forums that it's on their list of things to implement, but has not given a definite date for this to happen. When it does, this software is going to be PERFECT.

Review of PDF X-Changw

Commenti: I prefer this pdf viewer and editor over all the others I have tried. The available tools have been very useful for conveying what I need to show on my engineering drawings.

Aspetti positivi:

Our company has adobe acrobat but I prefer X-Change for all my PDF markups. I can easily add approval stamps, highlight, circle, draw arrows to and do all this with various fonts and colors. The text boxes with arrows are key to me when helping indicate something important and I don't recall seeing this option in Bluebeam or Acrobat.

Aspetti negativi:

I would like to have the color selection option to remember what I selected from the prior use. Also, when I use the textbox with arrows, the arrow leaders do not easily switch from side of the box the arrow is pointing from.

very good app for pdf reading and editing

fast opening pdf files and fast editing pdf's, good ocr scanner, annotation is very good

some times ocr make pages corrupted and not like the original, ocr needs more

An excellent solution for PDF viewing and editing

It is light-weight, it has many features that are very useful when you work with pdfs and generally allows you to secure your documents in multiple ways. The editing functionality is very easy to use.

The only downside of the program is in the editing function especially with paragraphs that are rearranged after deleting or editing the text. The text does not appear evenly on the page, thus reducing the range of editing allowed.
