Aspetti positivi:

I like the ease of use. It integrates into everything I need it for - website, social media , POS. This brought our small business up to a new level!

Aspetti negativi:

It is a little expensive and months we don’t use it as much we are still paying a high premium especially for POS

Shopify with Home Appliances Plus

Commenti: It was average. The app is great. Its the customer support that needs improving.

Aspetti positivi:

Easy to use, very user friendly. Quick check especially when tracking orders.

Aspetti negativi:

The chat system. There's no summary of the emails that were sent daily, weekly and monthly.

Overhyped and only useful for small companies

It's easy to use and set up. There is a wide range of ready apps and themes that can be used to customise your shop further.

Aspetti negativi:

Very restrictive in terms of features, either you do things Shopify way, or don't. Developer support is inexistent, either being redirected to "forums" or referred to a paid partner that can give you an overpriced consulting solution.

Yeah look not much different to not plus

I just don't think it's worth the money and It's not much different to the non plus version.

A Robust Ecommerce Platform for companies large and small

Commenti: Shopify Plus has been a game changer for us. Conversion rates improved 50% after deployment. Site speed is phenomenal, the dashboards are great, uptime is great, and access to the app catalog cuts development time down to a matter of days. We have deployed more features and services in less than a year, something which would have taken multiple years at 3-4x the cost on our prior platform.

Aspetti positivi:

Ease of use and cost. We went from a commerce solution that required 3-4 developers, took weeks to months to deploy simple features. We now have one we developer that can deploy key features in a matter of hours or days at a quarter of the cost of the previous platform. The thousand of apps also provide additional features that can be rolled out quickly and effectively, creating a robust website in a manner of weeks from the beginning of the engagement.

Aspetti negativi:

Hard to complain about the platform. To expedite the development and roll-out we choose a theme that was a close fit to how we wanted the site to look and function. However there are not an unlimited number of themes and while we are happy with the results so far, we are limited in terms of some design elements that we want to try out and test out. Overall not a large problem.

Only software you will ever need to manage your business across the globe

Commenti: I am a developer using this over the past years and the journey by far was awesome, almost learned all the gotchas and tips and tricks and with every update, Shopify plus is improving its capabilities and making the business handle the problem easier, Shopify support for plus is also excellent and offers a solution to all of. your problems and that is to on 24x7.

It has some awesome features like detailed analytics which can help you increase sales, also you have the capabilities you can compare them across all of them. They have inbuilt flow software to create the automation you will ever need. you can manage the POS store sales and online sales on one platform and with many abilities on customizing your storefronts and checkout and integrates with every popular software in the market. For the developers, it has the scripts section which can create custom solutions without using an app.

Aspetti negativi:

I think the pricing for the plus is a lot expensive and hence only suitable for businesses that operate at a larger scale, I believe they should be reliable so that the medium-range or smaller tier can also accommodate this software.

Amazingly easy to setup your first webshop using shopify

Commenti: Online grocery store with recipes, blogs , partnership with other vendors to sell cross products. Appointment bookings.

Shopify is amazingly easy to setup and to get started, the default templates are sufficient to create better than a basic design. The blogs and knowledge articles are quite helpful to learn about different entities. The availability of thousands of apps on shopify app store gives you the possibility to put your imagination to your website. I wanted to create a website with products, recipes, videos link to blogs, out of stock reminders etc and every function was easily possible using apps. Another limitation is: I have a appointment booking system but none of the app allows/requests for a confirmation from the user. For e.g. I wanted to offer the possibilities for the user to book appointments but without making any payments in advance. For this purpose, user is just needed to enter their details like name and email address. But without really getting a confirmation this system can be used to create false appointments quite easily by providing any email ids. Ideally a confirmation is a must by the email address to get verified. But this is not available with any of the apps.

Aspetti negativi:

There is one special feature i fond missing for my scenario where i wanted to allow for local pickup from stores but the store should be able to scan a barcode or some order number from the user to verify the order details and then at the same time after successful delivery be able to complete the order themselves. This was not possible easily.

Great for E-commerce

The Process to start a new website using Shopify is very easy. It is also very simple for new users with no developing skills to start with Shopify. Integration with most apps is very convenient and can be easily handled.

Aspetti negativi:

Some of the features need some time to understand and need good knowledge about a particular feature.

The support! I absolutely love Shopify Plus, Shopify in itself so easy to implement for several years but now with all the integrations everything has gotten easier. Also, the support from our specialists has been outstanding.

Purchasing additional apps, to implement certain features. It can be expensive to do this.

Good Before Politics Got Involved

Commenti: Shopify Plus gets ONE STAR from me for customer service despite very good communication and support with everyone I've personally dealt with---sales, support, merchant development. They get one star because they openly courted outdoor and shooting sport retailers for their platform, onboarding them with repeated assurances that Shopify wanted their business and would take care of them. Many of my friends in the industry preformed costly migrations to Shopify plus because of these overtures and were eager to get going on the platform. Just a few months before Black Friday 2018, Shopify arbitrarily changed their terms of service to explicitly ban retailers offering anything to do with guns, or basically anything 'scary' like hatchets and knives. This change was not due to payment processor needs or issues of legality---all of these retailers were operating through their own gateways and were in full compliance with all applicable laws. More importantly NO WARNING OR GRACE PERIOD WAS ISSUED. Overnight these retailers were left hung out to dry after paying tends of thousands---if not hundreds of thousands of dollars---to migrate over legacy systems and retrain staff. This policy shift was arbitrary and counter to the repeated assurances provided retailers, and Shopify's longstanding stated positions. It was nothing less than a complete betrayal of these merchants who had believed in Shopify and trusted them with their bluishness. I'm am convinced other "purges" will follow.

Industry best user/checkout experience, industry best reliability, industry best customer support, fantastic user interface, great tools for automation, helpful merchant success managers who have experience, connections, and good advice... The plus features are worth it and we use them daily: Flow, Scripts, Launchpad etc are so valuable to the business that it is hard to imagine going without them.

Aspetti negativi:

Shopify plus has been suspiciously slow to improve it's software when it will disrupt an existing "shopify app" in their app store. There are many obvious and simple optimizations that they are hesitant to implement because it will cost them money and anger software developers who rely on the income. This is a weakness in their product design strategy and holds the app store back from being as good as it could be. This attitude has slowed improvements to core functionality like Discounts, Customer Communication, Upsells etc. Shopify (and plus) also needs to take a more active role in safeguarding user/customer data when it comes to what is truly needed by apps. One malicious developer can compromise tens of thousands if not millions of shopper's information and there's almost no recourse or prevention. In the same what mobile apps ask for too much information on purpose---there are a lot of suspicious "free" apps on the store which appear to be there just to harvest user data. Increasing and inappropriate "politicization" of terms of service in order to bow to the personally held political beliefs of Shopify executives---regardless of legality, payment processor terms etc.

Great e-commerce software

The store portal is very user-friendly, making it easy for me as a Brand Manager to access everything I need. Creating discount codes is also straightforward.

Aspetti negativi:

It is not possible to use multiple discount codes at once and the code logic building is basic.

It is no doubt one of the best ecommerce platform for small and medium sized businesses

Commenti: We have used Shopify Plus for our e-commerce store to boost the UX of the page and increase conversions, it is very easy to use and has resulted in increased loyalty by customers in just a few months of using Shopify.

Aspetti positivi:

The platform is great for the growth of businesses, it is straightforward to use with an excellent user interface. It is one of the best platforms for B2B/B2C e-commerce, providing a great online shopping experience to visitors. Great to find out the past purchases by customers and use them for retargeting purposes, excellent at providing discounts and vouchers.

Aspetti negativi:

Templates are editable but need JSON coding knowledge, which is a challenge for designers. Customer support is slower than other e-commerce platforms, there are limitations for optimising the experiences for visitors which can be fixed in the near future.

Lots of room to grow

Some aspects can be a little confusing or intimidating without proper training.

I am able to use Shopify Plus on multiple webpages while handling 3+ customers at once. This has made handling multiple customer a very easy.

Commenti: Awesome, if you're thinking about it, just go out and try their free demo, you've got nothing to lose. If you find it's more than you need, you can check out the other cheaper and free options.

Aspetti positivi:

Free demo is good to get a taste of what it's about, and it sold me right away. I've used shopify before on personal, small projects, but this gives you tools to manage a much larger revenue stream and be confident in it. The platform is super easy to use if you have even a small amount of experience with eCommerce sites and operating them. You can get up and started very quickly, post new items very quickly, it's great!

Aspetti negativi:

Some issues with shipping customization that I had to find a workaround for, by updating pricing instead of shipping dimensions since you cant do that.

Shopify Plus has an extremely user-friendly interface. It's easy for shoppers to use, as well as account managers. It's also extremely easy to use the scripts editor when having promotional deals, which is an extremely important feature in retail.

Aspetti negativi:

I think overall this product is great. I don't have anything negative to say about this product, other than the price is a bit high for start up companies. They do allow for a free trial version which was very helpful in determining if this product was right for our company.

Helpful, efficient and informational.

Aspetti positivi:

I like being able to see customers orders and tracking all in one place. This is the go to software that we use at work to view order information. We also can view lifetime spend, whether a customer has created an account with us, and their rewards history.

Aspetti negativi:

The most negative factor is how often it has issues, it may be due to their server but it seems to have been happening often lately.Other than that, Shopify Plus is great and I love using this tool.

User Friendly

I love that the website looks clean and organized. That our clients can navigate easily and orders go through quickly.

I do not like that our company cannot use Shopify payments or card readers since we sell nutritional supplements.

My company upgraded to Shopify Plus for a year and didn't find the features worth the extra money

Aspetti positivi:

The Scripts Editor was the best part of Shopify Plus, especially around sales like Black Friday / Cyber Monday where you could do 'Buy One Get One' on special products

Aspetti negativi:

The limited special features of Shopify Plus can't be justified by the extra amount that they charge. We downgraded to the regular Shopify plan and don't miss anything.

I started an online store on shopify about 2 years ago. I watched a lot of videos on how to use it so the ease of use is easy because there's a lot of information available. My shopify store is my best form of passive income and the Shopify PLus software has made managing the store, orders and returns easy and fast

The learning curve may be a bit extensive for beginners but there's lots of videos to learn

Shopify Plus is great for those with multiple sites!

Commenti: We have had a good overall experience with Shopify Plus Enterprice eCommerce, and we would recommend it to others, unless they could find something similar at a cheaper price.

We have a retail and a wholesale website, and Shopify Plus allows us to have both under the same account, pay a flat fee monthly , and still have both sites separately.

Aspetti negativi:

We don't love the price of the software and wish it was a little bit cheaper, but unfortunately there isn't much we can do about that.

Ecommerce Stores Look No Further

Aspetti positivi:

We were growing quickly and needed a better ecommerce platform than what we were using. The Enterprise version of Shopify is amazing! Uptime, speed and performance are all fantastic.

The price! It's much more expensive than traditional platforms. However, you get what you pay for.
