Best Property Management Software

Delighted with Landlord Studio! It's incredibly user-friendly and has a clean, easy-to-read interface. I opted for Landlord Studio over other options primarily because of its mobile layout, which I find convenient. The color scheme is appealing, and I appreciate how effortlessly everything is presented. It truly encompasses all the necessary features.

Aspetti negativi:

Editing leases, especially adjusting the start and end dates, isn't as straightforward as I'd like it to be. I have multiple tenants who don't stay for the entire year, and terminating their leases isn't simple. It would be helpful if there were an option to end the lease if a tenant vacates before the term ends.

Allows our small business to be professional.

Please add 1099 Misc capabilities to contractor expenses . That can be generated when expense reach the $$$ set point. Can Landlord export to Turbo Tax by property?

A great bookkeeping tool with a few nuances

Commenti: Landlord studio makes it easy to manage finances at tax time. With all expenses and income recorded, you can generate an easy to manage report to fill in the income and expenses in the tax return.

Aspetti positivi:

It is easy to add and track expenses on the property either on desktop or on the app. The app feature of reading through receipts to autofill the form is fantastic and easy to use.

Aspetti negativi:

Rent tracking is difficult to manage as I have an external property manager managing my properties. They pay on a particular date of the month, not each week which is difficult to marry up in Landlord Studio.

An Invaluable Tool for Property Managers

Commenti: Overall, my experience with Landlord Studio has been outstanding. The application has exceeded expectations. I've found it to be intuitive and has met all of my needs.

Aspetti positivi:

Landlord Studio's UX is extremely intuitive and easy to use. Minimal training is needed to start using the application. I've found it to be an easy transition since I started using it. The customer/technical support has been extremely responsive. Often times responding in less than 30 minutes.

Aspetti negativi:

No major Landlord Studio cons. I would make a few minor enhancements to the report templates and add a few things to expense tracking (e.g. reimbursed vs non-reimbursed, paid vs not paid, etc.).

Great value & Service

Aspetti positivi:

The customer service is stellar. So if I’m confused they answer my chat in literally minutes. And they respect you so I don’t feel “dumb”! I can have tenants pay online. Also I love how I can upload my credit card and bank info so I don’t have to manually input these.

Sometimes it’s not intuitive for me) but customer service responds in minutes! So, not a problem.

I don’t know why EVERY landlord in UK isn’t using this yet! No need for letting agents at all anymore, this app does everything they do but quicker and more accurate and just better!

This is the best app I've ever used to manage my tenants agreements and payments. I also love the well put together reports I can send to myself including my tenants. It's extremely affordable. So happy I found Landlord Studio, they've taken all the manual work and long hours out of my day and it's so easy to use

Expenses and payment expense templates needs work on. Also bring in the auto direct transfer option to Australia and New Zealand already

Really useful software for a landlord

Commenti: I really like the way that Landlord studio has improved since I started using it, the company are easily contacted via Facebook and always take on board improvement suggestions.

Aspetti positivi:

I really like this software, it's so easy to use. I don't use all the features but I still think it's good value for the features that I do use. It has massively cut the amount of time I spend on doing my accounts which is great because it's not something that I enjoy doing.

Aspetti negativi:

It would be really useful to have an asset register within the software.

A godsend for a first time investment property owner!

Automatic notifications to tenants letting them know when their rent is due. Payment processing of those payments is extremely helpful.

Aspetti negativi:

Not all features are intuitive. For example, their is a category called "Organization" which is where you can list all of your expenses and upload invoices. Calling this category "Expenses" is more of an accurate description of this category. I recall trying to find where to document expenses and it took me a minute to figure it out.

Why Pay Someone Else

Commenti: Excellent. I couldn't recommend it enough to any potential users. Please do yourself a favour, and use Landlord Studio. You won't look back.

Everyone has a busy life and is time poor. Landlord Studio is an inexpensive tool that is very easy to use, but more importantly, it is extremely quick and accurate. With just a couple of taps on my phone, I can log payments or expenses, or even correspond with tenants immediately.

I haven't encountered any cons yet. Every facet of Landlord Studio I use frequently has performed flawlessly.

New User - Loving It

Commenti: Love it! Customer service is very fast, when you actually need them which isn't often as the platform is very easy to use. I researched a number of other platforms before electing Landlord Studio. It was the easiest with a great dashboard and reporting.

Aspetti positivi:

Integration was super easy. We discovered landlord studio prior to being tenanted so there was zero interruption. Logging expenses was a breeze, and we had a year worth to get organized so our taxes could be done timely. I could not have asked for an easier system.

Aspetti negativi:

I cannot see where I can customize the categories of expense. I imagine this is an option, but as a very new user have not dived into this yet to see. I simply needed to get this year's expenses logged ASAP and the categories offered worked well enough.

Great Management Software

Commenti: Having such a variety of financial reporting allows quick access to a multitude of reports that help give an overview of specific areas of property management.Having my leases all in one place and setting automatic reminders takes the weight off of having to remember key dates.

Landlord studio was recommended to me when I was searching for a user-friendly, inexpensive, detail-oriented program to help me manage several properties. Not only does this program allow me to track my expenses based on the category type, but it provides a multitude of one-tap reports that can give you a clear picture of your property based on specific areas broken down within income/expense reports.

Some of the features that I would like to use are not yet available in Canada. I am eagerly waiting for a wider audience access to these products so that I can use the program to its fullest.

Excellent Property Management Software

Commenti: This software has given me one source of truth for all of my data for my business and allowed for real time reporting that is both current and historical.

Aspetti positivi:

This software allows me to track all components of my investment, from value to income to expenses to notes, etc. The ability to enter and show partial rent payments and total rent due is a great feature.

Aspetti negativi:

Occasionally some bugs pop up, but the technical support team is very quick to respond and very quick to resolve the issues.

Nordskog Properties, Review of L>S

Commenti: This was able to help connect my prop. manager and myself to both have an idea where we are at and moving forward. I really liked that when I emailed L>S about being able to search for my property that with in time that was an option. I would like to see them move forward with the new change that has been talked. I have talked to other landlords who have not used this due to feeling like it is not up to date and to blah. I think the new version with help grab and keep clients.

Keeping everything together, as well as knowing where tenants are with rent

This is a very hard to choose, I am unsure if I would rather have a "connected bank" account or not. I enjoy logging expense/income myself. However if my bank was set up it would be a chore to log my mortgages at split sections. this is why i just dont long my mortgage payments and will do it all as a interest payment at the end of the year.

My most valuable tool

Commenti: The customer support is amazing. I have had about 4 occasions where I have needed help from the software people. Invariably the reply comes within a day and everything I have wanted to do or know has an answer. It is by far the best software for my needs out there and I tried many before I found Landlord Studio.

Aspetti positivi:

Reasonably intuitive to operate. The ease of use and the ability to do via phone app or desktop is most useful. Quickly captures both expenses and revenue by property with reports that tell you exactly where you are at. To be able to capture an expense at point of sale and upload receipt straight into software makes record keeping so easy.

Aspetti negativi:

The higher end reporting sometimes is not as intuitive and I have had to write to ask how to do something.

Streamlined and Professional

Aspetti positivi:

I have never felt so organized before using Landlord Studio. There are never any questions on payment history and my tenants appreciate the emailed receipts. I have recently begun to use additional features built into the app such as texting groups of tenants, tracking expenses, etc. The program really worked wonders for the management of my properties. My wife and I can both login and record payments, as well as see the status in real time.

I would like to be able to customize a few more features, such as rolling tenant expenses into the amount owed at the top of the page.
