Best Label Software

The user interface for designing a label is intuitive and works extremely well. The integration, while technical, is a live-saver. We were able to integrate Label.live into our exciting custom software. We use thermal, roll label printers and the built-in drivers enabled us to print an exact quantity without user input.

Aspetti negativi:

I had one problem, but emailed the developer and I received an updated (beta) version of the software in less than 24 hrs.

Success story that answered our prayers

Commenti: Your software is very understandable and easy to use. Before we were using another one for NFC/RFID card printing jobs, and it was quiet difficult to use.
Also our card printer didnt go hand in hand with it which resulted in regular problems with printer, which seemed impossible to resolve, and bad quality of print.
Your software resolved most of our printer/card printing problems. I even find myself enjoying the quality when the card comes out of printer.
Before I was physically cringing every time when a card printing request came in.
So thank you very much for your work and wish you success in future!

Aspetti positivi:

It was very easy to set up and use, importing from a spreadsheet was a breeze, and the customization and UI for creating labels is very clear and easy to use. The ability to print off so many variables and use data so effectively is a massive boon. Customer support has been amazing in helping me figure things out, including getting a feature implemented that i suggested, and sending me a beta copy to test with.

Aspetti negativi:

There are niche instances of features that i would like to see, but am generally not upset about having as i can bake them in to my excel sheets.

Horticultural tag simplicity

Aspetti positivi:

The ability to design the tag easily was so helpful for someone without any graphic design background.

Aspetti negativi:

Just one small glitch regarding a variable window would not refresh as being empty. So you’d manually have to delete the data so it wouldn’t inherently print on the wrong tag.

Printing

He makes no mistakes and is very easy to work with. Apple supports him. Customers are compatible with him. They respond to customers immediately, which gives him positivity in hard work.-

It's so so "intelligent": you can add sheet on excel file, fields, data inside fields, ...and Label Live update all instantly.
Software house offered me for free a duplicated license permitting me to work on desktop and laptop computer: thank you so much.
I'm so happy to use Label Live and I raccomanded to all people to try the 20 days free version.

Take that SMEAD

Commenti: We have professional looking labels for our HR and Special Education department files designed exactly just the way we wanted them. Everybody is happy.

After getting a ONE day notice that SMEAD was discontinuing their ridiculously expensive labelling system we were left scrambling for a replacement. I thought they would just remove their restrictive environment and place their non-supported software in the public domain and allow us to continue to use it but that was not the case. I needed to find a replacement QUICK. Luckily I found Label Live. I love the trial allowed for full use without worrying about watermarks etc. Once I designed the replacement labels we needed, we could start to use software immediately. The support staff was quickly trained and we purchased the full version. So far so good!

Aspetti negativi:

We are a school system and wished we could have used a purchase order. Just makes things cleaner for the auditors. Disclaimer: they do allow purchase orders for 5 or more licenses.

Hands down most useful and easy to use labelling software I have used!

The importing and variable labelling is intuitive and a lifesaver. Customizing my own label sizes is easy and [sensitive content hidden] has been so fast and helpful with any tweaks I needed to do. I love that it handles my barcodes and general labelling needs for any kind of label I need from big to small.

Aspetti negativi:

I would love to see pre populated Uline labels added to the system such as the Avery labels. Most of us using warehouse order from Uline so it would be handy.

Excellent Label Software

Installing the license needs to be done for EVERY user of that computer. That's a little frustrating as it's on a computer that is used by multiple people. Which means the first time it's used for a new logon the person has to install the license. It would be nice to have a machine wide license instead of installing per person that logs on.

The best at customer service

Commenti: By far the best customer service in the game. We have had 2 issues while using this software for the past 2 years, both of them were created by us not the developer. Within minutes of submitting a ticket we had a personal message and a solution to our issues. The first time we called and instantly talked to a person, and had the solution in minutes as well. I can't say enough about this... this never happens!! It's great to deal with actual customer support, and have problems fixed on the fly. I highly recommend this software, this team is the best.

Commenti: Below is my review of Label.Live. I wrote the review because of the great support I received from your agent Caylan L.. Above and beyond support. Label.Live has changed the way I do business. Throughout the year my taxidermy shop receives many animals from hunters, roadkills, teachers, museums, etc.. All of them need to be checked in properly for our tracking, and also logged & tagged according to State and Federal laws. I enter client information into Excel, “The State/Fed. Record Book”, and Label.Live automatically formats tags in their software using the data. The tags are affixed to the animal the entire time it is in the shop until it is delivered to the client. I print the tags using a DYMO 450 Twin Turbo. It was VERY cumbersome before Label.Live when people would bring multiple animals that all needed hand written tags. Additionally, Label.Live easily allows me to incorporate licensing and other data that law enforcement officers would want to see if my records were audited. It is very important my software works quickly and efficiently since I haven’t a secretary. Thank you for all of the great support I have received and the software! The software seems very easy to use BUT it did NOT print control codes embedded in a data matrix. I sent a message to your support team and Caylan responded and asked what I needed. I explained the feature I needed and he added that feature and sent me a copy THE SAME DAY. This is absolutely amazing. After this experience I showed my distributor ( a multi-billion $$$ electronics distributor in the US ) and they were super impressed. The usually recommend a different brand but they were really impressed and said they wanted to learn more about your products.

The Zebra printer on my desk collected dust because I was unsure how to use it. Then came Label LIVE software that connected with the printer and allows me to periodically print Amazon return labels. Prior to this, I had to insert a label into my printer under my desk, risk banging my head, and then sometimes printed on the wrong side. The software also recognizes my DYMO label printer that I plan on using soon to make labels for holiday cards.When I had a question about importing an image, the customer servive was responsive and helpful. All around 5-stars for this company.

Aspetti negativi:

I have double vision and bright screen contrast sometimes makes reading difficult. Perhaps in the future offer various background and foreground color choices to make this function a bit easier.

Great Customer Service

Commenti: I was having trouble with getting the label, when printed, to fit on the sheets we have in stock (our brand was not listed on the available options). I emailed the customer support and was able to quickly get in touch with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. He did an incredible job of helping me fine tone some numbers in order to get the dimensions correct. The fact he figured it out by just seeing a picture, in no time at all, was awesome. Just his support and assistance made going with this company a no-brainer!

Software is very easy to use and gives you options to adjust multiple facets of each label. Also a big bonus of being able to save sheets of labels - printing 120 at a time is typical in our office.

Aspetti negativi:

Having to save the labels on our computer hard-drive versus the label software itself, takes a bit of time in terms of opening a saved label sheet to print. But if that's the biggest complaint (which isn't a huge deal anyway), that's great!

Commenti: We hoped to find Mac compatible label creation software and stumbled upon Label Live. It appeared it might be a decent solution for us and offered a free trial. Once we set it up, which was simple and smooth, we discovered the label creation interface had none of the frustrating bugs of all other label creation products we've used. Rather, it was intuitive, created great looking layouts and got us printing quickly. We liked it so much we bought the full version the same day. In setting that up we had a couple questions which the [SENSITIVE CONTENT] answered quickly and effectively. We definitely recommend Label Live. It's a simple solution and works seamlessly with Macs.
