I started with simple forms, then I built forms with more custom fields, then I also needed forms that included subscriptions. It is very useful that you can put your Stripe connection on test mode or live mode. Beside using the plugin in English language, I was able to translate it in Romanian. The WP Simple Pay support team were very accommodating in adding a new language to their portfolio. I enjoy their collaboration! The WP Simple Pay team always reply quick and help you with any question you may have. The plugin is always up-to-date with any new Stripe features. This keeps your website payment secure.

WP Simple Pay provides the ability to create simple payment forms for your website that will be processed using Stripe payment processor. I like that WP Simple Pay allows you to do various customizations for your payment forms. You can select between an embedded, an overlay form or a Stripe checkout form. WP Simple Pay shows your Stripe subscription options directly in your form setup, which comes very handy. There is documentation available for the different plugin settings.

WP Simple Pay may seem a bit complex in the beginning, but it is easy to follow the settings as they are align with the Stripe features.

Commenti: I've been building websites for over 15 years and have tried many solutions in accepting payments. WP Simple Pay is PERFECT for quick, easy transactions that don't need a lot of complex solutions. It's a great way to sell small items, accept donations, etc. I absolutely LOVE that buyers can STAY on the same page and can put in their credit card on the SAME form where they put their name and email address. It's so sleek! I highly recommend this is you are looking for a quick, easy, and sexy way to accept credit card payments on your WordPress site!

What I like most is the simplicity of the plugin. Stripe is my favorite credit card processor because I can create multiple companies in one account - which means I can accept payments for multiple entities under one hub. I also mainly use WordPress to build all sites for myself and for my clients, so WP Simple Pay is a no brainer! I love the sleek and simple interface as it makes it so easy and attractive to accept credit card payments! People can pay on one simple form ON your website, rather than going to an external website or additional page on the website. It's professional and slick!

Aspetti negativi:

What I like least is the lack of "smart" features. You can't really make complicated forms where you can gather more information about the buyer. You have to keep it simple - but I guess that's the reason why it's called WP Simple Pay. Don't expect the ability to create complex forms!

At the time I was looking for the perfect plugin to use for my site. I downloaded the lite version thought it was what I needed and paid for the full version. Set up was ok there were a few tasks that were confusing for me to get through. I didn't end up using it for long, I switched to another service a few months in.

Maybe the easiest way to implement a Stripe payment into WordPress

Commenti: We've been using this as our primary 'make a payment' or 'pay an invoice' software both on our own website and the sites of customers for more than two years now, I think, and I am so happy with it. It's grown in smart ways over the years, has continued to get easier to use and *shock* our per unit licensing fees have actually gone DOWN since we started using it. I can't recommend it highly enough, and in fact I do, at least once a month. There are a lot of 'payment' plugins out there, but for a simple payment, I haven't found anything better than this.

This software is really top-notch. Of course it's not perfect for everyone, but for what it does -- allowing you to take payments, including recurring payments, on your WordPress site using Stripe as the payment processor, I haven't found anything easier, or cheaper (with all the features).

Honestly, there aren't many gripes I have with this software. I did try to get it to show one of my custom fields on the payment receipt page and had some trouble, but I'm not sure that is the fault of the software or Stripe's backend. Short of making it a little easier for my non-techy customers to use (we set it up for them) I can't think of any dislikes.

Great Payment Plugin

WP Simple Pay has been the best payments plugin that I have used. The setup, integration, and ease of use are definitely superior to their competitors. The end users have been happy with the interface on the payments side as well.

Aspetti negativi:

The notifications was the hardest part for me to get working correctly, but if I recall, it was more of an issue with the server-side SMTP settings.

Easiest way to do commerce

It is so easy to use and works great for both one time purchases and subscription based purchases. Integrates easily with Stripe. It’s super light weight, very focused plugin, does one thing flawlessly.

I honestly can not think of anything. If it had a companion membership plugin or integrated with a simple membership plugin that would be cool.

Great plugin if you're looking for a simple solution for a payment gateway

It works for Donations!

I love being able to use this plugin to simply create one-time and recurring donation widgets to drop into WordPress.

Aspetti negativi:

About 6 months ago they forced a switch over to a new drag and drop system to create forms that is really user friendly, BUT, that system means that I can no longer weave html and custom css into the plugin the way that I used to be able to.

Cost effective e-commerce solution

It was easy to setup and integrate with our Stripe account. The documentation on the website was a nice resource to consult when we had questions.

The pricing is just too much for the features we use and the subscription mode we would like to use. I can see paying the personal price if it also included Stripe subscriptions. The other con related to pricing is this software only connects with Stripe

Easy Payments with WordPress and Stripe

This allowed us to easily spin up products and take payments without the complexity of implementing a full cart like woocommerce.

Aspetti negativi:

There are some limitations to using a single button for checkout, but in general if you are deciding to do that, this is by far the easiest way we found to do it.

Simple Website Payment Form Integration without extensive coding

Commenti: My experience has been nothing short of superb. I was able to create a web form in seconds, and integrate that into my website as an attractive front end for patient payments. Any questions that I had were quickly answered by the developer. To my knowledge, this is the one payment plug in that allowed for user defined payment amounts without linking payment to a tangible good. So it's the only one that would have worked for my needs. I've since recommended it to many of my colleagues who have used it their extreme satisfaction as well.

Most website payment methods assume that you are selling a tangible good. For someone like me who wanted to create a payment portal for my medical practice, it was difficult finding a system where the "price" was user defined and variable. WP Simple Pay understood that need and created a plug in which was flexible enough to allow for this non-traditional use of web payments.

Aspetti negativi:

Integration with other vendors aside from Stripe would be nice.

Poor customer service when trying to cancel

Commenti: Fine while using and when no problems, but customer service was poor. They send you oodles of material to read to try to find your solution, but have no one to speak with to solve what should be simple solutions. So, if you want to spend hours researching what to do, this is your company.

I didn't even realize it was there while it was being used. Seamless once working correctly. While using it there were no problems, however, I discovered it was almost impossible to speak with anyone.

Aspetti negativi:

Customer service. It was impossible to speak with customer service.

WP Simple Pay was easy to setup and implement by someone who was only moderately skilled at Wordpress. It doesn't require a deep understanding of code to get up and running. Very quick and easy to get set up and receiving payments.

We had a few struggles down the line with some specific custom functionality we needed, but the WP Simple Pay team were there to help us and gave excellent customer support.

The ease of use which passes on to my customers has been huge. It's saved us so much time, as we were invoicing directly or taking payments over the phone before implementing this on our website.

Aspetti negativi:

The only thing that is a bit confusing is the way the form id number and the invoice number shows when I get emails notifying me of a payment. If I didn't know exactly how it has been set up, those numbers would mean nothing to me when I opened the email.

Simple Pay

Commenti: I think that they have great customer support and tutorials. With that said I think this is for more advanced developers and designers. I do not believe the average person would be able to implement this into their website with out help.

I enjoyed the overall concept and understood the functions of Simplepay. As the name suggests it makes it easier for your clients to pay you for services rendered. I did find though that it was not easy to implement into Wordpress as it was advertised. Even with all the tutorials, I seemed to struggle with full implementation. I bought the software and unfortunately have been using paypal because I never got it running.

I still am trying to figure out how to fully implement this into my current WordPress site. It would be helpful to have a video tutorial.

Super Easy

This product is extremely easy to use. We rarely have a complaint from any donors. WP Simple Pay is what it says it is: a simple way for people to pay, or in our case, for donors to donate.

Aspetti negativi:

When people set up a re-occurring payment, they should be able to choose the day when they want the re-occuring payment to come out instead of it just automatically starting on the day they set it up.

Easy Process For A Non-Web Designer

Commenti: I am a video producer that has ventured out to make my own online course which was intimidating enough, but then to try to figure out how to take payments and get the product to customers made me super nervous because I'm not a web designer or a smart guy that knows a lot of code and stuff, so my biggest worry was that there'd be a lot of technical errors that I wouldn't know how to fix and I'd have a long list of angry customers, but that hasn't been the case at all. I've been able to set it and forget it for the most part.

I like that it is simple, there's not very much to mess up in the process, and it seems to just work - I haven't had any issues with it malfunctioning on the website.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish it was easier to customize the "Buy Now" buttons. I'd really like to resize it and have the option to put my own text inside of only having "Buy Now".

WP Simple Pay is pretty straight forward to set up in WordPress. I've used it to process my Stripe donations on our Non-Profit website for over two years now. I have not had one single issue of non-functionality since implementing!

Setting up confirmation emails and that kind of thing could be easier but, hey, I spent three years of bangingy head on the wall trying to get PayPal to work and it never did. WP Simple Pay is a breeze.
