The worst customer experience from any company.

Some, quite frankly I'm so turned of by the terrible experience that I'm unwilling to say anything positive.

I attempted to purchase a monthly Powerdirector 365 plan for my computer. I don't have a credit card so used my visa debit to attempt to purchase, I got an error that it couldn't process even though I had more than enough money in the account. I assumed this was a result of your system not being able to process visa debit card payments so I asked my boss if I could use her credit card to make the purchase as it was for business. She agreed but suggested we purchase the year long subscription to save money. I did so and the card was successfully charged. The reference code for this order was 395247292.I then checked my banking and saw that my card was charged twice for the monthly subscription (this is in addition to my boss having already paid for the year long subscription, all on the same account). I contacted cleverbridge, your payment processing company, and was able to get them to reverse the 2 monthly charges (after many many many attempts) while leaving the charge for the yearly plan alone so I kept access to the premium features. This all happened only a few months ago. I have now lost access to Powerdirector 365 and only have the free version. In the purchases section of my account I only show a monthly subscription which has expired.

Great for your editing needs

Commenti: I would describe my overall experience with PowerDirector as great. I mostly use PowerDirector for morning announcements at our school. I have my students do much of the editing but I help them out when they have trouble.

PowerDirector is much easier to use than any other video editing software. The UI is easy to understand. I like the tutorial that they have you work through when first downloading. It walks you through all the important features you most likely will use. I also like that you can export different file outputs depending on what you are playing to upload your video to.

PowerDirector is a bit expensive. It does have many more features than a free video editing software though.

For daily needs for any in the industrial film business, this product, PowerDirector , does it all.

When creating a film, you used to need several different software packages from Photoshop, to capture programs, to final conversion software. But with PowerDirector you have it all in one product. It is worth the price for all that you get.

PowerDirector does have a learning curve. It follows a lot of the standards, but because there is SO MUCH it can do, even a seasoned pro will need to take some time to explore and learn. But it is worth it.

a powerful video editing software for beginners to serious amateur

Commenti: Enjoyable, stimulating, creative. It enables me to produce relatively polished videos which colleagues in the storytelling community seem to appreciate (to the point where they are asking me to run an editing course for them.)

I like the fact that you can start pretty easily but as your confidence grows there are plenty of sophisticated tools to enrich and enhance your video. There is excellent support form the communityo nlline (youtube videos0 demonstrating a wide range of editing/titling/tracking processes, which makes it easy to practice and acquire new skills. There's a huge resource library of background music (including Asian themed tracks which is important ot me - PD seems particularly keen to cater to Japanese market with fonts and music ) as well as Shutterstock video/images that come with your subscription. The recent addition of AI voice changing has proved surrprisingly effective for voice-overs too., and the sppech to text works very well also for creating subtitles.

Aspetti negativi:

They update frequently which sometimes is annoying as the UI changes and you have to acclimatise to a new timeline/icon/s/location of tools etc. The proliferation of gimmicky effects to carter to bologgs and social media content creators will surely irritate the serious video maker - be prepared to delete scores of flashy, flickering in-your-face titleing templates!

Great for Beginners!

PowerDirector is extremely easy to understand if you never edited videos before. I am a teacher and during Covid, I recorded a bunch of lessons for my class. I used a single camera and microphone and would film me teaching the material. Before I discovered this software, I would have to rerecord if I made a mistake. But now I can keep recording and go back and edit it later. I always thought editing videos was something only professionals could do. But PowerDirector has tutorials you can watch and the UI is very easy to understand. Every time I use the software, I learn something new.

The one thing I liked least about using PowerDirector is it takes a powerful PC to quickly edit videos. If you are using large files, it can take a while to convert your videos and download them.

There are all the options you would need in a video editing software and they're all really easy to use. It has a free version with a watermark, but their cost to remove the watermark is not excessive.

My 6 years of amazing experience with Power Director software

Commenti: With a 6 year of experience, I always recommend to use Power Director software to all the new video editors and youtubers because, it is the most user-friendly and awesome to learn video editing and youtubing. The free version of this software belongs to everyone's liking and so, everyone like me will be satisfied by using it, during uploading the project. Besides, all the uses of the plenty of tools, special effects, background music are, no doubt, awesome to a new beginner.

Power Director software is quite easy to a new learner who is trying to learn video editing professionally. According to the requirement of a new video editor and a new youtuber, all the traits like green screen effect, blending mode and stock copyright free images, videos, transitions, graphics are available in this software. Video quality is also very high after exporting the project in this software. All the amazing tools, present here, are, in plenty, to add subtitles in this software. It is, also, in a word, user-friendly in an Android device.

I think both the fast and the slow motion need to be developed in this software. With the help of this software, audio-editing and color-grading do not seem to me to be highly esteemed in comparison to the other ones. The accuracy of the chromakey feature seems to me to be doubtful to a bit extent. The Android version of this software takes longer time to export the project. The notification for using a pro-version, on behalf of the authorities, is also a matter of annoyance to me during my initially opening this software.

There is a whole bunch of editing software out there. Trust me, I know! The worst thing I had to do when I decided to start a youtube channel was finding the right editing software. I spent months searching for something that didn't confuse the hell out of me! Finally, I came across PowerDirector. Now the first thing you need to know is that PowerDirector is super easy to use. It's incredibly helpful, user-friendly, and flexible. Copy and pasting pictures, as well as downloading music is awesome. It also has filters, background color choices, video transition options, opening and end credits options that you can edit to your specifications, also a myriad of fonts and colors. Volume and audio editing features, as well as skin smoothing, panning, (that's when you do a close up then back to the regular video, for those who don't know). The saving feature varies from saving on your device to your gallery, as well as your dropbox, or social media.

There is no clear way to overlay. The feature is hard to come by. In case you don't what I am talking about, it means that if you want a video over another video for some reason you can't get that. When you add a video clip it goes to the end of your video, no matter if you put it in the position you want.

Budget Video Editor with useful tools

Commenti: PowerDirector is a great budget video editor that likely has more features than the vast majority of users will need. Up to 3 videos can occupy the same space, whether you decide to have one as picture in picture, or split screen, etc. Individual videos can be cropped, can have adjustments in color, brightness, etc. Transitions between pictures or videos are also useful. The "AudioDirector" tools are a hidden gem, and it will export the audio from a video, allow you to apply equalizers, boosts, and moderate sound effects. Compression is another option in the editing. Once done, it returns it to the video. This is true of ANY edit to the audio. So, when there were times when the audio was out of sync with the video originally, I could edit the audio slightly, and when returned to the video, it was a SEPARATE file that I could "nudge" until it was properly aligned. That is tedious to be sure, but I am thankful for the option. I use the audio features as much as the video at this point. Recently I have learned to use chroma (green screen). It is ok, not flawless, but it does allow fun options in changing backgrounds. I have a hard time completely eliminating the slight green glow at the edges, but maybe there is more fine tuning I can do. My hair is fine, and the green slightly shows through it.

Very little that I dislike. I wish it "produced" the videos faster, but that will be true of all, I'm sure. I most recently upgraded to "365," but I REALLY do not like subscription software. I prefered when I owned a version and used it for a few years. During COVID I felt it was important enough to keep it up to date.

Power Director still a top video editor

Commenti: It’s a perfect tool for those looking to begin video editing. I used it for years, but newer versions became clunky and dated. I switched to different brand, though PD is still quite formidable.

I used PD fir several years so I could edit my family home videos so they are mire interesting to watch. I added titles, transitions and music to jazz them up a but. I also used the product to edit out bad clips.

Aspetti negativi:

There isn’t enough included titles and transitions to warrant the amount the software costs, though you can easily download additional content based on your own needs.

App Is Amazing for Movie Making And YouTube!

I love how you can have it in all devices! I love all the features put in free trial mode, its the best software out there! Its got all my favorite effects when a picture or a video transitions to the next, such cool effects! I love how there is free music to use and no limit to how long a video can be. Useful for school projects! Fast rendering on PC and great source of free images and backgrounds to choose from.

The thing that always bothered me was the watermark but thats no big deal, I understand why its there. On the phone or Android should add more features and a more similar set up as the PC version because it feels like using 2 different apps. I don't like how the PC has more features than the android, android should have more cool transition effects. android seems to take hours to render the video but the PC renders super fast.

Complaints are never attended, the support personnel (who may be the developers, I can't say) treat users as if users no nothing and they know everything which isn't fair. The essence of support/feedback centers is to note users complaints and improve on them but this develpers will not have that. I hope they improve

I just recently started a youtube channel - making a lyrics video. Initially I started with subtitle edit software which took me almost half days to complete a single one! Since start editing with powerdirector, it saves a lot of time in creating music videos and I am also satisfied with all the features offered by this. Unbelievably, it is super easy - a very good platform for a beginner like me in this field. The most important is due to the high quality video outputs, I have now significant amount of viewers! A Tool For Making Simple Videos

PowerDirector is good for making simple videos for personal use and also sometimes for youtube. It has some filters and transitions for enhancing the video quality. Ai motion tracking and mask and blend are some special features in this software.

Aspetti negativi:

You can't make some vast videos for your social media. You also can't create more creative video ads for advertisement. Their is a pricing for using many features. It have very few transitions of your work others are just useless.

Great for all kinds of video projects

Commenti: My overall experience with PD has been very good. My biggest struggle with video projects has always been having to go online to find compatible pieces to complete my final output. With PD paid subscription however, I no longer have to spend hours on YouTube digging for copywriter free content, I find everything I need right in the expansive libraries of stock videos and images. This has significantly improved my effeciency and output quality.

My favorite feature of Power Director is it's ease in handling both photo and video editing. Most competing software are purposely built for only one, but not both. So it definitely makes it easier working on projects that consist of both file types. My favorite technical feature however has to be the video motion tracking capacity. With my not-high-end computer, I honestly didn't expect the final outputs to be so near perfect.

The rendering speeds can be a little slow sometimes. I also wish they had more themes for the user interface. All in all however, PD's offerings are above top notch.
