Set of good tools

Commenti: greatly minimizes the time in having to compare files that need to know what type of information it has and thus not have the same data that confuses and fills up space

Aspetti positivi:

I like being able to compare files in the same window and not having to be moving between windows that would take a lot of time and I could not validate the differences more truthfully and thus be able to export the differences to CSV files

Aspetti negativi:

The free offer that they allow does not have even 30% of the tools in total of all that it has, they should implement more to also take the safe step of buying all the complete software

Excellent tool to compare data from variety of sources

Commenti: Using this program has helped my company to save a lot of time (and pain) on data validation activities pre and post deployments, as well as during conversion of the production database from one source to another.
Sure, there are many comparison tools out there, but I use this one every day and it definitely does the job for me. Great job, JuxtAPPose team!

JuxtAPPose is a tool that allows you to compare data by connecting and running the query from different sources (MS SQL, MySQL, Aurora, Oracle to name a few) or just loading it from flat files. All you have to do is define the key for comparison and click the start button! You can navigate with ease within the comparison result to see the details, and it could be saved for and retrieved when necessary. The program is quite intuitive because it marks any differences it finds with colors, making it visible right away. It also displays the comparison statistics.

Aspetti negativi:

I don't think there are really cons.. Sure, the tool may use some enhancements here and there, but nothing comes to mind that would prevent from using it...

My experience using Juxtappose

Aspetti positivi:

The ability to compare outputs from two different databases by running the scripts simultaneously is the feature I most adore in this software. By doing that, the app helps to reduce a lots of time and effort.

Aspetti negativi:

I find the layout and the colors used in the app a bit dull and old fashioned.

Easy to get started, you can do several things at the same time

Sometimes the online feature gets erased the manual entry if you get refresh.

Fast and easy to use

Commenti: The system is great, intuitive, fast and uses little resources even for big amounts of data and works best for comparing different sources and event different source types.

Aspetti positivi:

The extraction and comparison of big data is fast and doesn't consume a lot of memory. I love that it shows you the progress and remaining work.

Aspetti negativi:

The UI needs a hand to look more modern, there are features missing that could be helpful like Export, or showing the coincidences, the UI stops responding at first when the data is being extracted.

How could I live without it?

Aspetti positivi:

I really like the flexibility of this tool. It's possible to write your own queries within this software and compare their results directly. Also it's also very easy to ignore specific columns in the comparisons (without having to write a query).

Aspetti negativi:

It's probably not the most beautiful UI I have seen in my life (but it remains fairly intuitive though).

Great tool for migrations

Aspetti positivi:

- It saves a lot of time making data comparision. - Very useful in our actual data migration process. - The avoid columns features works great. - It consumes low memory (thanks)

- Maybe UI its not the best. - Only works on Windows

It is actually EASY

Aspetti positivi:

I do commonly need to analyse financial data of several publicly traded companies; to do this, we have to filter, compare and use formulas to understand what these figures mean and synthesize it in a conclusion. It gets more complex because most of the analysis have to be tailored for each project and programming a macro in Excel is not very useful in this case. I tried JuxtAPPose and found it very helpful. It is very intuitive, fast and actually easy to use.

Aspetti negativi:

The interface does not look modern (this is not a problem actually). If it had the export feature, it would be perfect.

Great tool for anyone needing to compare data!

Commenti: I'm a systems administrator and I normally don't deal with a lot of "data sets". I do however deal with inventory and manage a lot of user accounts. Once a month, I'll pull my previous Excel sheets from the previous month and compare them with the newer ones to get an accurate count of change that might have been made. This tool is really easy to use for someone like me who just wanted to find the simple numbers. :)

Aspetti positivi:

Easy to use and understand. I was able to put my data in and catch discrepancies there may have been.

Aspetti negativi:

UI is a little dated and could use some update, but really, it's all about the functionality.

This tool is very useful to compare transactions

Commenti: Save lot of time comparing apparently duplicated records from policy transactions and find out what has gone wrong and cause the duplicated records.

Aspetti positivi:

Comparing transactions between policies when something went wrong and there are duplicated records used to be a pain. With this tool is very easy to find what has changed and caused the rows to be duplicated and the color interphase makes it even easier to find.

Aspetti negativi:

there is no actually cons for me. It covers hat I need to do my job and it makes easier than do it by hand one by one record at the time

Roasting Juxtappose

Aspetti positivi:

Me encanta lo fácil que puedes encontrar incongruencias entre tablas, creo que no habíamos conocido una herramienta para esto, es realmente muy util =)

Aspetti negativi:

El producto es fácil de usar sin embargo el tener que descargar e instalar, y solo poder usar en windows es un dolor de cabeza, yo optaría mejor por una solución en la nube (de tener otras opciones). El diseño de ventanas o en general el UX tiene varias areas de oportunidad, por experiencia propia puedo decirte que el contratar un experto en UX es una de las mejores inversiones que puedes hacer para un producto de software. No hay muchas opciones al comprar, creo que los usuarios siempre deben tener opciones (o siempre deben creer que las tienen), yo sugiero agregar al menos un plan "Pay as you go".

Great Idea, will be a good form to reduce time and costs

Easy access, easy to learn and use. I understand how it works really fast.

Very helpful and easy to setup

Aspetti positivi:

Very easy installation and setup. Easy to use, in less than 5 minutes I was using the data comparison and helped me to trouble shoot an issue I was having with different versions of databases.

Aspetti negativi:

I think there is a lot of features that can be added, like listing the tables/sp's of the DB and being able to select a table and compare data as well as schema.

DB For a End User

Commenti: for a en user like me without a big knowledge of data base it's easy to use, the interface it's simple and looks like priority the important part and don't waste resources on graphics and animations

it' easy to use , I am not a DB and was really easy to make the connections and run the queries

I think it's need to solve a security issues in the application , it's only for the installation path

Great crunching tool

Commenti: I use it to identify differences between different version of rating files which can be huge excel data.
