Un software molto utile sia per i neofiti che professionisti

Commenti: Nel complesso Eclipse IDE è un ottimo software per programmare. Mi è stato molto utile per crescere professionalmente nell'ambito della programmazione e lo consiglierei per la sua facilità nell'uso.

Aspetti positivi:

Di Eclipse IDE mi è piaciuta sicuramente la semplicità e la velocità con cui creare una pagina di codice. E' molto d' aiuto per i neofiti della programmazione perché da anche un aiuto durante la scrittura del codice consigliandoti come finire il codice che stai scrivendo e nel caso di errori ti specifica anche che parti di codice hai sbagliato.

Aspetti negativi:

Non ho apprezzato molto la funzione del debugging, perché è poco intuitiva.

Ottimo idea ma non proprio intuitivo

Stiamo parlando di un ambiente di sviluppo e quindi destinato a sviluppatori. Nonostante questo non mi è sembrato il migliore. Ho preferito netbeans, è più pesante ma più completo

Non mi ha mai convinto del tutto nonostante la stabilità e la richiesta di risorse rispetto ad altri ide

La mia esperienza con Eclipse IDE

Di Eclipse IDE mi sono piaciute le sue grandissime potenzialità e la sua facilità d'uso. Mi sono trovato fin da subito bene e a mio agio con il suo utilizzo

Ho avuto un un minimo di difficoltà ad abituarmi al passaggio da un altro software

Piattaforma indispensabile di sviluppo per programmazione e debugging, versatile e completa

Commenti: Usato per poco più di un anno durante lo sviluppo e test di un applicativo, si è rivelato un IDE professionale ed essenziale per la programmazione grazie agli ottimi strumenti di debug, gestione di API, scrittura di codice sorgente, ecc. È abbastanza intuitivo da usare se si ha già esperienza con programmi simili, ma sicuramente non immediato per i principianti. E' molto potente e adatto a diversi linguaggi, per questo può richiedere molta memoria in esecuzione e risultare meno pratico rispetto a IDE più semplici e specializzati.

Aspetti positivi:

Ottimo ambiente di debugging, editor di codice sorgente reattivo e funzionale per vari linguaggi, supporta l'integrazione con Github. E' un software professionale molto potente, ideale per sviluppatori esperti.

Aspetti negativi:

Curva di apprendimento difficoltosa per i principianti, contiene un set molto ampio di strumenti di programmazione per vari linguaggi che possono renderlo meno immediato rispetto a software più specifici, poca disponibilità di documentazione.

A volte si incarta su se stesso... escono fuori popup di assistenza che in realtà sono più di intralcio che altro

Commenti: Da un anno l'ho abbandonato dopo anni che lo utilizzavo, non è più affidabile come una volta, almeno per come lo uso io

Per il debugging è migliore rispetto a IntelliJ

Meno robusto di IntelliJ, a volte rilevo comportamenti inspiegabili e irrisolvibili

Non male ma c è di meglio

Commenti: Ho iniziato ad utilizzarlo a livello scolastico, e devo dire che fin li nessun problem, ma poi quando inizi a lavorare e creare progetti più grandi iniziano a sorgere un po di preoblemi, ed è per questo che poi sono passato ad IntelliJ.

Aspetti positivi:

Buone funzionalità per quanto riguarda lo sviluppo Java, e per per un ide che può essere utilizzato gratuitamente almeno per l'inizio va bene. Inoltre fornisce un'ampia gamma di funzionalità come l'installazione e la compilazione di progetti Maven/Gradle all'interno dell'IDE

Aspetti negativi:

Uno dei più grandi problemi che affligge Eclipse è senza dubbio il debug e la grande quantità di memorica che utilizza.

Buono strumento di sviluppo

Strumenti a disposizione, personalizzazione dell'interfaccia, ottimo strumento di debug e sviluppo

Al momento lo strumento è abbastanza completo. Si potrebbe comunque migliorare la velocità e la personalizzazione

Molto bene per lo sviluppo java, ma c'è di meglio

uno dei pregi più grandi è sicuramente il costo: è gratis.L'interfaccia è molto semplice e ci sono molte opzioni per il debug

l'ho usato solo per programmare in Java e devo dire che con questo linguaggio ho avuto difficoltà, si è dimostrato lento e ogni tanto l'intellisense mandava in lag l'intero programma. C'è di meglio.

Un IDE completo e versatile ma pieno di bug

Aspetti positivi:

Un punto di forza di Eclipse è sicuramente è che supporta molti linguaggi di programmazione (Java, C++, PHP, Python).Inoltre è disponibile per Windows, Linux e macOS e ha una vasta comunità di sviluppatori alle spalle che lo supportano.Utilizzo Eclipse anche perchè è altamente estendibile grazie alla sua architettura basata su plugin, che consente agli sviluppatori di personalizzare l'ambiente di sviluppo per soddisfare ogni esigenza.

Aspetti negativi:

Il software purtroppo è sempre pieno di bug ed è inoltre molto complicato trovare i workaround a questi problemi, soprattutto se si è alle prime armi. Nel complesso sviluppare su questa piattaforma appare spesso lento e complicato, riducendo notevolmente i benefici.

Occorre un minimo di dimestichezza per utilizzare il tool a pieno ma basta creare un singolo progetto per prendere la mano.

Eclipse IDE consente di gestire i progetti JAVA, sia in ambiente di sviluppo base che in ambiente J2EE, in modo semplice e flessibile, integrabile con numerosi plugin e librerie.

Aspetti negativi:

L'interfaccia con l'utente potrebbe essere migliorata, rendendola più intuitiva e meno complessa per gli utenti di livello base, e accorpando le funzionalità per categorie in modo più logico e intuitivo per gli utenti della versione J2EE.

Best open-source IDE - Highly Recommended for Developers

Simple user interface with various configuration made this IDE more attractive and proven its quality in the market. we can adjust all the configuration to the advanced level to deal complex projects in simpler manner.

Aspetti negativi:

Though the user-interface is simpler, it looks older. So that it needs to be modernized. Mobile development and live server integration are the areas need to be improved in Eclipse IDE.

A veteran Java IDE. It does the job but it feels too old.

Commenti: I was mostly using Eclipse during and right after my University studies which was almost 15 years ago. I remember loving it that the time but now I feel that there are more developer friendly IDEs out there.

a very good ide and it is free, it offer multiple language support. Another important point is the extensive plugin ecosystem (coding, database, framework...) As an old IDE you can find a wide range of forum, helps, documentation

Aspetti negativi:

when you computer is not powerful enough you can expect some latency as eclipse is quite heavy impect on the system's ressources. Quite difficult for new commers as there are so much possibilities for configuration

A free all in one Java development IDE

Commenti: Its a great tool for non commercial and commercial java development. But I will inclined to use it more for learning projects and / or non commercial projects. Mainly due to the stability issues it had when I was using it.

Ease of access. As a software QA I feel it provides open source integration development environment to the users. The ease of handling multiple workspaces with support for Android development too.

Aspetti negativi:

Sometimes sluggish and feels heavy weight in performance. Plugins need to be downloaded. Less or narrow suport for language and frameworks.
