Excellent for on-page SEO

Commenti: My experience with Surfer has been great. I've had good results from several other optimization tools, but Surfer has clearly been the best. I use it mostly to update existing website content that's already ranking in Google, and I consistently get higher rankings and more traffic after using Surfer.

I've used several other similar tools for optimization, but Surfer is by far the most comprehensive. It doesn't just suggest keywords to include, it also covers things like number of images, headlines, and lines of bold text you should include. The results have been excellent.

Because Surfer is comprehensive, it takes a while to optimize a page. If I write a blog post, I usually need at least an hour to work on optimization to achieve an optimal score.

I like how simple it is to write SEO-friendly content. I love the writing optimization tool that ranks your content in real-time. It's simple, straightforward. It's also nice that the group on Facebook is so open to feedback, offering training, and answering questions! Makes you feel like you're not lost in some confusing, expensive software, but rather part of a community. They allow you to connect your Google Search Console for the Content Planner tool, which is a cool feature.

Aspetti negativi:

It was a little challenging to figure out how to really analyze keyword trends after coming from SEMrush. I hope they will update their analytics to include more visual data/graphs, as the results are (for now) simple and linear. Simple is good for beginners but I'd love to see them expand this.

Some of the concepts used to score an article are somewhat difficult to understand. For example, NLP(natural language processing). The software scores it, but it's hard to understand how it is scoring your article on the concept.

I have been using Surfer for more than a year now. I first tried it with a couple of trial accounts. And I finally switched to the paid plan from last May. So far, my experience has been awesome. Let me break it down. 1. If you are uncertain what changes are needed to improve your On-page SEO, hands down, Surfer is one of the best, if not the best tools on the market now. It will suggest you how many words for headings, bold, paragraphs and so on by analyzing the top 50 pages from the SERP for your targeted keyword. 2. It will also help you to optimize your content, suggesting a range of word counts for the most important words related to your article using the NLP. There are few more features which is really stands out than the most competitors, but for me the above two is what most important.

Sometimes, due to some technical errors or glitch it can't crawl some websites and that is why the SERP analyzer or content editor will give you incomplete score.

SEO has become very competitive these last few years, and you just can't go without KW density optimized content anymore if you want to be comparative. Most tools that I used before optimize content after it is written. That prolongs the writing/posting time, and it's hard for VA's to learn and do it properly. This tool does it in real-time. The keywords are right there on the right side and are interactive, giving the writer guides on what he should include in the content from the start.

I use mostly Firefox browser because it has better developer tools than Crome. SEOSurfer has good addons for Google Chrome and Google docs (that are also in chrome) but nothing for Mozilla; that is something I find it a bit frustrating.

I don't know if you've encountered this before but for some reason it experiences some glitches that erases all the stuff I've written. Like when I'm writing a particular article, if I switch tabs or sometimes just on its own it reloads (saying that the connection was interrupted) and then all of a sudden everything is gone. It's odd because I'm using an actual ethernet cable which makes my internet connection faster than just using a wireless one. I'm not sure why this is occurring, but it just happened again right now. Even if I press undo over and over, the words I've written don't come back. What concerns me is that this might become a repetitive cycle, forcing me to screenshot my work all the time.

'm still not quite in tune with how to develop the appropriate Focus Keyword or Keyphrase to get started with the Content Editor. I still find myself snooping around in a Google Search to find a good one. I'm not upset because I know that my understanding will grow with the use of the product. I use NLPs all the time, and I wish I had a few more of them each month.
