ProCare goes the distance!

Commenti: We changed from Office Center to ProCare as we'd used Office Center long enough that the adding billing options were limited and we'd reached the limit. Editing any billing options then changed past accounts to the new options.

Aspetti positivi:

Once it's set up the system is very easy to use and quick to post regular billing. Additionally the filter options are exceptionally helpful.

Aspetti negativi:

The time it takes to set up accounts; although that is no different than any other billing program.

Commenti: We switched from Brightwheel to Procare and we have been very happy with most things.

Aspetti positivi:

Very user friendly and you can usually find the answer to most questions. We set up last year for our families to register on line. That was easy. But this year when we went to do it, it was a disaster! And it seemed that a lot of schools were haveing issues. I feel this was something that should have been ready to go for registration time.

Aspetti negativi:

That you do not have a different message platform for administration and families. I do not like my teachers knowing all that I speak to parents about regarding billing, child being sick, etc.

Procare Solutions just ok

Commenti: Overall, Procare Solutions is just ok. We were excited when we were first switched over from HiMama because we thought it would be mostly the same, with the added bonus of syncing information. Because so much key information does not sync, and there are many features that do not work as well as HiMama, staff have been disappointed in the transition. Hoping for continued improvement to the app from the company based on feedback.

The supposed ability to sync seamlessely with Procare desktop (which we've been using for years) was a huge draw for us, as well as the ease in uploading documentation for portfolio/observations/assessments.

Aspetti negativi:

The app does not seamlessly sync with the desktop-leaving many core areas out (like emergency contacts, allergies, and child schedule). The app seems to be down or malfunctioning fairly often. I do not like the messaging feature and how it displays on the home screen because messages often get lost in the shuffle. Staff have also expressed frustration that you cannot upload more than one picture at a time, and parents cannot comment on pictures.

Commenti: Procare is easy to install, support is always quick and helpful. We enjoy how the program is customizable and how they worked with our State to get approved for digital subsidy sign in and out.

Procare makes automated billing easy. Set up is easy and customizable. Sign in/ out and reporting are easy and we love that you can do approvals on the app.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish the app had an admin-only feature where families/ admin could send more private messages not all staff could see.

Commenti: We've used Procare for over 13 years and tried other programs on a trial basis as they came out, but none have been as comprehensive as Procare. It truly serves all your childcare center's needs. And they make changes and updates pretty frequently, especially based on customer requests.

The customer service is fantastic and the reports available on Desktop are the most comprehensive I've seen on any childcare software program.

Aspetti negativi:

There are still some issues with Procare Connect (employee timecard syncing and scheduling messages to go out, for example) that other platforms do better. I'm hoping that Procare will update these soon.

Amazing tool for daycares

Commenti: I have loved Procare! It is amazing as a teacher because it allows me to stay connected with parents while they trust their child to be in my care!

I’ve used Procare at two different daycares and have loved it! I have also used a different app (Tadpoles), so I have something to compare against and I’d choose Procare 100%. I love how easy it is to message parents through the app and stay connected. It is nice that you can put in an activity for multiple kids at once.

Aspetti negativi:

I’ve used this app for a while and I still don’t quite understand how to put my lesson plans in? Or how the evulations work on there but it will be a process of me trying to figure it out!

Attendance Tracking Made Easy

Commenti: They gave us plenty of training in the beginning and we can access customer service people easily if we have any questions.

We purchased Procare primarily for the attendance tracking and incident tracking features. We LOVE it. It makes our jobs so much easier as we were doing these processes by hand.

Aspetti negativi:

On one occasion during the first 6 months of school, the system wasn't working and we had to do attendance by hand. It wasn't a big deal.

Commenti: I love Procare! 5 + years ago when we were looking at to go from all paper to digital for our administrative and teaching needs, we started to research all the companies providing a single program digital service. Many centers in our area were using a mish mosh of multiple programs to cover what they needed. That was not an option for us. We chose ProCare. It had everything we needed from daily updates for parents to payroll and billing to lesson planning and child assessments. A "1 stop shop" so to speak. We love that this program is easy to use and the customer service is phenomenal. We made the right choice in deciding to use Procare.

- Everything we need comes from 1 supplier. - It is affordable - The program is easy to use for everyone. - Parents love the contactless sign in and out option

Aspetti negativi:

- When Procare has updates to their program we often have glitches that we have to work through, but Customer service is awesome and helps us work through any issues

I love the Dashboard! I also love the capabilities to send out emails in mass or set a reminder to parents as they sign in their child.

Aspetti negativi:

Well I understand why this need to be done however it is a pet peeve of mine. Procare will time out and I have to log back in.

Happy customer for over 20 years!

Commenti: As I have said, I have been a very happy customer for over 20 years! I find Procare to be helpful and supportive. I find the reports and data management to be far superior to other products I have used. So much so, I convinced my current employer to switch to ProCare. While I am looking forward to some advancement in the parent messaging/notification engagement I am a very happy customer.

I have been using ProCare Solutions for over 20 years now. Since the very beginning the customer support has been excellent. The team is always there to guide you and direct you. They are very friendly and patient with me as I am not always that tech savvy! They respond quickly and have always taken our suggestions and tried to support what our needs are.

Aspetti negativi:

When we first began with ProCare, there was no parent interface other than billing and email capabilities. For that matter no program had parent interface back then. With time Procare has added a parent portal, although I feel that it still needs to be made a bit more user friendly. Jumping between desktop version and engagement can be cumbersome. Overall, the parent portal works, I just feel it could be made more inclusive to the rest of the program especially with billing and payments.

I find the administrative reports lacking practical applications for day-to-day use in the center. The online PRocare does not work with Kinderconnect to daily report to TWC-CCS.

Commenti: Overall, I do enjoy this product and love when they come out with advancements to make it even better. I think the app itself is so efficient, however, I do think that the website could be a bit more streamlined.

Procare really does have many features available to teachers and administration to help provide strong communication between school and home. Adding in meals, bottles, nap, etc. are so simple and take mere seconds. The teachers are so busy so having that is so important to the management of their day.

Aspetti negativi:

The app is great but on the admin side who login to the website there is a lot of clicking to get to particular information. For example, I would love to click on the child's picture and have access to not only their profile information but also to their daily report. Also, it would be so simple in I can click on the child's picture on the main screen to quickly log them in/out. There are a lot of great features but sometimes it is just so cumbersome to get to them all. Would love to cut down on the clicking and have it more streamlined.

Commenti: I have used Procare for over 20years as an owner of a large child care center and I loved it. Decided to use it for my family child care business. Procare customer service has been prompt. They are able to handle the questions in a timely manner and provide solutions when needed. The interface is easy to use for managing our business and for the parents to see how their little ones day is going. I am genuinely happy with Procare.

Procare offers a easy interface to manage any child care program. The automatic invoices and parent portal make billing and accepting payments convenient.

Aspetti negativi:

The cost for the software is pricey for an at home child care facility.

Commenti: The customer service has been an 7/10, most questions get solutions. Invoicing is great, the app and “lead “ registration need some tweaking.

The messaging, doesn't show when a parent or staff member has read a message so that can be confusing and frustrating.

Commenti: I have used Procare for 27 years and went through the major upgrade and the new Procare Solutions. They just keep getting better.

Aspetti positivi:

I like the fact that the program is easy to use and has more complicated functions when needed. I was able to get rid of QuickBooks and do all my center management for students, accounts, and staff with payroll all from one program that I can also access from anywhere! I love their customer service. They are trained and can really help.

Aspetti negativi:

Are too many choices a problem? So many reports that it takes time to figure out what report you want. Once you figure out the report that works the best you are set. With data reports you can configure your own reports as well.

Excellent Childcare Software Management

Commenti: Overall, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. It does not matter that I am a small, privately owned center or a multi-location center, it can be used no matter the size! It helps me to stay organized and maintain compliance with Texas Minimum Standards with may reminder features. The fact that it is safe and secure to use to manage all of my information, gives me peace of mind while making my job easier!

We love using the Procare solution software at our childcare center. One of the things I like best is being able to manage everything in one software! We can log into Procare and track attendance, bill, manage shot records, manage children's files and much more all in one place! This makes it easy to manage so many things and simplification is important in our busy lives!

Aspetti negativi:

The only issue I really have with Procare is that we get disconnected from the server quite frequently lately. I am not sure what is going on, if it is our internet or something within Procare itself. I am not having any trouble with my internet, so I am not sure what the problem is. It has only been recently that this have been occurring.

We're using it more and more!

Commenti: Overall it's a great software solution, and we plan to continue using it in the future. As with any product that tries to do more than one thing, not everything is done with excellence. We are learning about new features everyday, and in most cases Procare makes our jobs easier!

Aspetti positivi:

Procare used to be just to manage student enrollment and tuition payments. Now it's so much more! We can send messages, photos and newsletters to parents, and we control who can view them. Staff use Procare to clock in, and payroll has become so much easier! We're hoping that using staff to take student attendance will increase the accuracy of the reports.

I have two teachers who are dissatisfied with the parent messaging to the point that they decided to use a different messaging app. That is due to the fact that they have no way to tell which parents have seen a message unless that parent takes the time to send a reply. A quick reaction button would help. We also have parents (i.e. our room representatives) who want to be able to message other parents and cannot. I am not a fan of the staff messaging system - if I send a message to all staff asking who can stay late, and then a second message asking who wants to order lunch in, there is NO way for me to tell which message a staff member is replying to because each response comes individually rather than as part of a thread. None of them can see the others' replies either.

Great Product - Needs Some Upgrades

Commenti: Overall I am pleased. I do believe its time for Procare to expand parent payment solutions with credit card chip readers and Tap to Pay. Especially Tap to Pay. We have had a LOT of requests for that. Parents dont bring a purse or wallet in the center to drop or pickup their kids, but they ALWAYS have their phone!

I like that its multifaceted; attendance tracking, Food Program needs and billing/tuition.

Aspetti negativi:

Still has tuition express glitches when it comes to credit/debit payments. Still having to "force" a lot of deposit closures or manually enter payments that clear but dont show on the ledger. Parents think we are being "shady" when they make a payment that clears their bank, hits our bank, but doesn't reflect on their ledger. We have lost customers due to this.
