Constant Contact excels in handling various groups/lists and large numbers of contacts. I've dealt with companies with a vast customer base, and Constant Contact enables you to manually eliminate subscribers and errors from more extensive groups/lists. They're coming out with a new edition of their email builders, but the existing one allows for individual CSS coding per block, which allows for a lot of customization.

Aspetti negativi:

Constant Contact has several oddities that I haven't encounter with Mailchimp, especially when using external connections for photographs and URLs. The email builder's text and link editing is a little strange and has a few flaws. Also, unless you make folders for all of your emails, the new search option for past emails is quite sluggish and takes a very long time to find.

Since they changed their format about a year ago, there has been a few days that the site has been down for a while.

Commenti: Nice emails that go out on schedule, with ability to see who is responding to what.
Its usefulness is severely limited by its awkward and painful interfaces.
Company responsiveness seems non-existent.

Link tracking, see immediate responses easily, some updates to email editor that have helped, look and feel of emails is good, importing and exporting contacts is fairly pain free.

Email editor shortcomings: no way to create reusable items to be used across emails; hard to get to html when editor features are insufficient or inaccurate. Folder management and use: site does not remember when you work in a folder, always starts at the "All folders" level, forcing repeated navigation steps to continue working in the desired folder. Contact management is awkward: working with large contact lists to clean up/reorganize is a nearly futile effort if contacts are part of multiple lists. Even though emails can be scheduled in advance, Contact lists are attached to emails at the time of sending, no option to change this. So when sending a templated email with contact group dependent links and content, there must be a separate email/campaign created, plus a separate contact list to be used with it. Dead lists and emails are a quickly a mile deep if not regularly purged. Reporting on results over multiple email campaigns appears to be non-existent. Lack of responsiveness by vendor to problems. Feedback and problem reports get an autogenerated email. No other response is ever apparent.

Commenti: I have been extremely pleased with this fine company. Constant Contact is my only connection with my prospect list, which has more than doubled since we started this Spring. I really can't see how I can do without my partners at Constant Contact.

The great deal of information available helps me to invest myself in my business. The customer service team is outstanding. No problem is too insignificant for the best efforts from the reps at Constant Contact. The templates are really inspiring and fully adaptable for my needs and the AI suggestions are really useful. This has really been the answer to my customer relations.

The multichannel campaigns are not as well supported by the knowledge bank as I would like. It is a new feature and I expect that there will be more helps coming soon.

Constant Contact: Easy to use, but on the basic side

Commenti: For a simple newsletter that needs to be maintained by those not looking for a bunch of bells and whistles, this can work. If you want to be more creative, have more testing ability, or desire some unique automation capabilities it's best to look elsewhere.

It's easy to use, even for those that aren't super tech savvy. There is a wealth of templates to choose from. I liked that it has segmentation that is easy to figure out. Also the email deliverability rates are really good.

Aspetti negativi:

Unfortunately is can get pricey if you grow your audience. Automation isn't where it needs to be to be really useful, which is a big deal now. Also missing is the ability to A/B test robustly (since you can only do subject lines right now).

Commenti: I like Constant Contact. Setting up and beginning campaigns didn't take long, and the template library makes it even easier. Like most business owners, there aren't enough hours in the day, Constant Contact, unlike some competitors, is straightforward and your first email campaign is just a few clicks away.

interface is good, system is easy to use and has a lot of templates to choose from.

Aspetti negativi:

I found it a little pricey with the top tier at around £70 upwards a month. As a small business it was a big ask. A company with a larger turnover would find it more cost effective.

I love how simple it is to use and how well it connects with websites, e-commerce platforms, Etsy, and other services. I've found it to be one of the easiest platforms for creating email campaigns, with more advanced reporting and analytics. Also, customer service is excellent.

Sometimes the email is spammed or hasn't reached the recipient's default inbox. I think it's a little bit expensive.

Commenti: This was the worst experience I have ever had, with any company, for any reason. It set my company back days of work. Do not use Constant Contact.

If someone were able to use Constant Contact without ever contacting customer service and if they didn't have a reputation for closing accounts, their interface is adequate for its intended purpose. It's possible to send E-Mails that appear as they do in the editor and their statistics for E-Mails that are actually able to be sent are presented well.

I spent 2 hours and 47 minutes on the phone waiting for their "deliverability team" to answer a question about SPF and DKIM and bounced messages, over six calls, before I finally gave up. I was never able to get in touch with anyone who know what he or she was talking about. I figured out the answer myself through a Google search hours later. When I signed up for Constant Contact, a salesperson called me to upsell their services and asked what industry I was in, so I told her. I used the service for a month and spent hundreds of dollars to have my employees investigate their API. Eventually, I complained to them about their poor wait times and someone called me to apologize. I spent 25 minutes on the phone with her and she told me I would get a 25% discount and they would get back to me about that in a few hours. After a few hours, instead of a discount, they sent me an E-Mail saying my account was closed because I was associated with an industry where I might send spam. I had only sent one message in the history of the account. That's after I had told them before what industry I was in, and after I was helpful to them for 25 minutes of uncompensated time to tell them what was wrong with their customer service.

Commenti: Constant Contact has been a wonderful marketing tool and I have seen results. I love the ability to see who has opened my emails in real time, as I can immediately reach out to them while the contact is "hot".

Very user friendly, but the most important feature is their customer service. I always get a real person right away when I have a question or need support. Helpful templates were there when I first got started, and they continue to be available. Their email functionality allows me to tract my emails and see who opens it (all in real time).

Aspetti negativi:

I have been using this software for years, and I have no complaints. I am a one person business, with about 15,000 customers, so my database is not as robust as larger companies might need for marketing. I do not use Constant Contact for videos, slides, etc.

Twitter (X) was recently removed and would love to have it added back. But otherwise no complaints about this platform.

Invaluable Tool for A Small Business or ANY Business

Commenti: Constant Contact revolutionized the way we communicate with our clients to let them know what's coming up in our issues and how they can participate (our magazine is 100 percent supported by advertising) and our readers (each month we create an email "alert" with Constant Contact which lets our readership know that our free digital issue is now available online). My whole staff knows how to use it and it can be adapted to a great variety of communication purposes. Clients can download our rate kits from a Constant Contact email; readers can link to our issues from it. It has lowered our print bills for collateral materials immensely. No more printed flyers or brochures! And no more use of snail mail — clients can receive your Constant Contact mail immediately or at a pre-scheduled time.

Very easy to use. If you know how to upload an image or a graphic, you can create eye-catching emails or newsletter style communications very easily and modify or update them frequently and quickly. The analytics -- to see the percentage of recipients who opened your email and exactly which person did or didn't, the bounce rate which allows you to keep your lists current, and many other features are not only helpful but simple to use.

As time has gone on, the cost has increased, but it still saves us a great deal of money because our postage costs have gone way down. We hardly ever use our postage meter anymore for marketing mailings. It's all done through Constant Contact. They used to have a free desktop "widget" that allowed you to input an email address right from your desktop, but that has now been discontinued. It was extremely convenient for the way we do business. There are now other ways (paid) you can connect directly to Constant Contact to have new email addresses input, but we have not been successful at getting them to interface for us, even though they are supposed to work. Constant Contact support was not helpful on this at all -- this happened recently and was really our only disappointment with them EVER!

There is no other features marketer research in marketing tools other, then simplicity, affordability, and effectiveness- and that's exactly what makes up Constant contact. Constant Contact is one of my favorite marketing automation tools by far most importantly for landing pages. It's cheap and affordable with superintensive features. It has a ton of professional pre-built email templates and provides great email management possibilities. One that brainstorms me most is the 2-month free trial it offers. I was very excited to learn that I could actually test out the tool for a couple of months before paying. This is what most competitors do not offer. I highly rate its automation capacities in terms of simplicity and effectiveness plus, list management is super easy too. I get on-time notifications and complete metrics on the various conversions my campaigns perform. The tool is user-friendly( I mean, from signup to user-dashboard). The team made everything super easy and they offer quality customer support. Integration with analytic tools like MonsterInsiggt and Mixpanel is super-easy and these tools are very collaborative.
