Un antivirus di ottima qualità

Aspetti positivi:

Bitdefender è un ottimo antivirus, che protegge costantemente il pc. Spesso ricevo segnalazioni in caso di navigazione su siti potenzialmente pericolosi o mail non sicure. Avendone riscontrato la qualità al lavoro, ho deciso di adottarlo come antivirus anche per il mio laptop personale.

Antivirus tra i più efficaci del mercato

Commenti: Si tratta di un antivirus molto efficace, sempre nelle prime tre posizioni tra i test del sito AV-Comparatives che periodicamente analizza l'efficacia di moltissimi antivirus. Il costo della singola licenza è più che abbordabile, considerato il livello di protezione che offre. La console di gestione centralizzata semplifica grandemente il lavoro di controllo del rivenditore.

Il software presenza una protezione molta avanzata da minacce informatiche come virus,malware,ransomware e attacchi a esca come il phishing. Ha disposizione diversi strumenti di rilevamento che riescono a incrociarci perfettamente senza utilizzare troppe risorse di memoria per garantire agli utenti la giusta sicurezza informatica. Permette di scansionare su tutta la rete i dispositivi e attuare contromisure in caso di violazioni o minacce dirette al sistema. Le licenze che si vogliono comprare riescono a proteggere sistemi operativi diversi all'interno della stessa rete, non ha importanza che sia Windows,MacOS o Android. Ottimo anche la funzionalità di filtraggio del web e di poter controllare la crittografia dei dati.

Aspetti negativi:

Per la quantità di funzionalità il costo non è indifferente inoltre bisogna per forza di cose appoggiarsi a un tecnico all'interno dell'azienda. Non risulta ottimale su PC datati di vecchie generazioni o su server troppo avanti con gli anni.

Trovo che sia uno strumento di cybersecurity molto efficiente per le aziende. I report possono fornire rapporti precisi e dettagliati sui malware rilevati o eventuali anomalie riscontrate sulla rete. Altra cosa fondamentale sono le notifiche mail che permettono di monitorare tutto quello che accade su ogni singolo pc e server in tempo reale offrendo così una sicurezza avanzata e di livello alto senza peraltro impattare sulle prestazioni.

Aspetti negativi:

Non è inclusa la protezione per dispositivi mobili e può risultare un po' complessa l'amministrazione centralizzata per chi non ha competenze specifiche.

Ottimo per la sicurezza sul web

Utilizzo Bitdefender da circa un anno e devo dire che mi ci trovo molto bene, mi aiuta a proteggere tutti i miei computer e server, inoltre ha una gestione di tutti i miei servizi su cui è installato molto facile e ricca di funzionalità

The most valuable features that our team like are those related to the anonymous and safe browsing. Bitdefender is also easy to use and automatically reduce its resources usage when you are working.

I would really like this product was faster when analyze our systems. Usually it can take until 9 hours and this process has a great impact in our resources performance.

One of the best AVs out there

Commenti: As an MSP, we have been using Bitdefender for over 2 years now. It sends emails to our monitoring team to notify us of potential events so that we can respond as needed. No need to stare at a dashboard to monitor endpoints. It integrates with our RMM well and is extremely customizable based on our clients' individual needs.

It is VERY protective by default, but is easily configurable to fit the needs of the endpoint.

A great endpoint security solution but not easy to manage

Commenti: Overall it was positive, because it is a powerful and effective endpoint security solution, however, as an IT Engineer it was hard to manage and maintain.

I like how effective it is against threats of various natures. It is without a doubt a powerful solution for any company, big or small.

Aspetti negativi:

It is not easy to manage. We had bitdefender management platform installed inside our on-prem infrastructure, and while it worked great, managing endpoints, creating and managing policies is a complex endeavour and not intuitive at all. Also, it may be trivial to some, but scheduled scanning while active tends to use quite a chunk of system resources slowing down the computer significatly during active operations.

Affordable Business Security perfect for SMBs

Commenti: This was my first foray into setting up a SMB Internet Security program, and as such there was a pretty steep learning curve for me to figure out what the do's and don'ts of setup are. However, once it was set up it very much takes care of itself with minimal interaction from me. I occasionally have to whitelist certain things, or adjust a couple of settings here and there, but for the most part we've been running it for a little over three years with no incidents.

Once it is set up, GravityZone takes a very hands-off approach to Internet Security. It was easy to install and it updates regularly without having to manually push updates. It is a large program, but it doesn't use a ton of system resources, which is great because some of our hardware is older.

Aspetti negativi:

Initial setup was a bit complicated. I had to contact them a few times in order to get all my bearings with the program.

Simplified, not simple security tool

Commenti: Very easy to get running with very little issues. I don't actually know how much it's doing, but my business has yet to have any attacks!

It's easy to get going, but also has the nitty gritty depth and controls an admin wants. I wasn't that versed in IT security software, but when we switched it was very easy to purchase, distribute, and get going. It's almost set it and forget it after that if you don't make any changes.

Aspetti negativi:

There are some features that get disabled at different tiers that seem arbitrary or were available and no longer are at the low tier. When this happens, the clients think they should still have the feature and start throwing security risk messages.

Excellent business antivirus solution

Commenti: I have used Bitdefender for several years both for my internal computers and also for all of my clients. I manage endpoints via the gravity zone online portal when it comes to deploying new devices and managing existing ones.

Aspetti positivi:

I love how functional Bitdefender is, how it will run on client devices with minimal impact or disruption to the client and also how wasy it is to deploy and manage endpoints from a centralised portal.

Aspetti negativi:

I sometimes find the dashboard complicated and sometimes things are hard to find such as when I am trying to exclude a file from scanning modules or temporarily disable antivirus protection on a particular endpoint.

Good security with one package

Aspetti positivi:

Easy to set up for small, medium or big teams. Decent dashboard for team management. Cost effective subscription plans.

Aspetti negativi:

With Bitdefender, it is quite easy to mix multiple subscriptions in the reports and UI. For example personal and work subscriptions can be easily mixed up.

Good protection, but slow response on software bugs

Commenti: Besides the two major bugs I've encountered, my experience has been good in the 5 years I've been using this software. The Android app is solid and quite fast, and support is attentive.

Generally speaking, the software is weel designed and with many normal features. It's not pricey and you will be able to use it across multiple Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices.

Aspetti negativi:

When they release a version with a bug, they take forever to fix it. In 2020 a bug on the Mac version made the software freeze and made the Mac slower. There were active threads on the companies' forums, and it took them over 3 months to fix this issue. And in 2021, a bug automatically boots the VPN app on Mac, even though they have the option to turn this off. This bug was reported at least in early February 2021, the company acknowledge the issue and in mid-September 2021 they haven't been able to fix this simple issue. Also, the VPN app is a paid feature, which would be better to include in the normal subscription package. If not, it would be better to leave this app away of the offering, and instead, make it an optional download.

Excellent AV Software

Commenti: Our experience is that since switching to their software, we've had minimal infections while reducing crypto virus/ransomware to zero.

It's detection rate with minimal false positives. The sandbox analyzer is a lifesaver too. Deployment was pretty straightforward as well.

It's a little resource intensive. We've had numerous complaints about it affecting PC performance from users.

Perfect protection for corporate environments

As an user, I feel it's not intrusive, doesn't break your workflow and does it's job.

It doesn't always update by itself, sometimes I have to manually trigger updates. I am not sure if it's a configuration or software problem.

Best Antimalware Platform I've Used in the last 20 years

Commenti: Bitdefender has been incredible to work with as a vendor. Bitdefender actually listens to their customers. After submitting a number of detailed bug reports and feature requests, I was actually approached by Product Management for my input and to better understand some of the suggestions I had made. When we decided to make the migration to their cloud solution, there was no integration with our LogRhythm SIEM. I worked with both vendors to make this happen and it was Bitdefender that finally provided a solution. they actually went through the process of becoming a LogRhythm partner to get access to resources to make this happen. Migration was held up for a significant time waiting on this. Bitdefender did not activate our subscription license until I have them the go ahead after integration was established. I was able to set up the cloud infrastructure before we started paying for it.

Bitdefender Gravityzone Business is an extremely cost effective and high performance solution that puts the 5 other enterprise endpoint protection products I've managed over the last 20 years to shame. It is simple to deploy and manage. It requires minimal attention. custom exclusions are rare and those I've had to create have been due to vendor stupidity, like sharing updates in an AWS container. I n addition to the typical features of most endpoint protection products, it includes features that are found in specialized products that cost more than Bitdefender alone. I've told many an endpoint security vendor, "Sorry, Bitdefender already does that for me. It might not do it as well, but it does the job your software does and more for less than half of what you want to charge me for your one trick pony." Bitdefender keeps adding security features to the base product without raising the price or drop in performance. It provides amazing network protection without implementing the Firewall. It is the only comprehensive solution I know of that provides true Ransomware Protection, which is behavior based. I have actually seen this in action when migrating data to a niche document management application. Bitdefender saw it encrypting files willy nilly while ingesting them and determined the behavior matched that of a ransomware application and stopped it dead. The application had previously encrypted files that were uploaded to it and it had never triggered before.

The only time I've run into significant difficulty was migrating from on premise to the cloud. The methods for doing that were not ass clean or simple to implement as I would have liked. The migration patch is not "finished" software and I've determined that systems that were "migrated" have leftover information from the On-Premise configuration that causes random communication issues that are invariably cleared by uninstalling and reinstalling.

Lightweight, Intuitive UI, Fast dan Mostly accurate to detecting threat

Commenti: Very helpful and my laptop is not burdened with its performance. All my internet activity becomes very safe because if I make an unsecured connection with a certain site I can see why bitdefender is making this notification.

Complete security suite

Commenti: In General I feel safe as an administrator and user. In the event of any attack, I am certain that it will be identified by Bitdefender and blocked.

Aspetti positivi:

With Bitdefender I can manage all the computers on my network and provide the necessary security. Comply with the policies of access to company resources and ensure the information as well as foresee the loss of data. Forense Inspection its a very usefull module.

Aspetti negativi:

Sometimes the maintenance of the equipment is usually tedious, the browser becomes slow and I have to generate custom reports continuously.

I began using this software when my Anti-Virus software provider of many years was forced to change from a previously top-notch product to Bitdefender - I have not been disappointed. I'm no expert in digital security but need good protection and Bitdefender seems to have an excellent record. It is quite easy to use and manage and I've not had any infections or compromised computers - I guess that says something. Support is very quick and professional.
