Clever is pretty clever

Commenti: Organization is always something that I continue to struggle with. With Clever, however, this solves this problem tremendously. It allows you to organize your logins in one place.

Aspetti positivi:

Clever is the easiest software I have used in a long time. As a user, it is seamless and saves SO MUCH time for searching and organizing all of my passwords and logins. Once set-up, it instantly stores logins and with a click of a button, you are instantly logged into the next website. Also, my children use this for online schooling it has been a godsend. Last school year, we were constantly having to remember MULTIPLE logins for MULTIPLE different sites. Now, the school has even more logins stored and easily accessible.

Aspetti negativi:

I can't think of anything as a user. Every once and a while, Clever might have a glitch and it doesn't automatically log you in. But I think this was due to the thousands and thousands of students who were trying to log on at once. Since then, no issues whatsoever!

great for managing technology inventory

Commenti: We are able to use data from our inventory to plan for and budget improvements.

Aspetti positivi:

We started using clever shortly after the pandemic started when we had to make many more technology purchases in order for employees to work from home and needed a way to manage the inventory. It's very easy to manage the inventory and I love how easy it is for us to track the life cycle of our products and plan for renewal cycles.

Aspetti negativi:

It took us a good bit of time to get up and running with the process of entering every product for the first time. Now that everything is in our data is reliable and informs our improvement projects.

Great for student sign-ins and make it easier, but limited.... needs to be expanded

Commenti: Overall, there are many benefits for ease and time saving for students, however, there is a lot more that needs to be improved to make me want to use it more. I've not used it as much with my students as I'd like because it isn't compatible with everything.

Aspetti positivi:

I like that it saves times with certain websites (e.g code.org) that we use in class, especially for younger students. We always have a hard time remembering and writing down or typing passwords and logins correctly. It is a nice management tool for teachers and students.

Aspetti negativi:

It is not compatible with all websites we use, which is extremely frustrating. Students sometimes login with google, sometimes with clever, sometimes we have to write them down on paper/pencil or try to save them on their ipads or computers. I want something that is compatible with ALL sites!

Easy to Use

Aspetti positivi:

It is easy to use and for the most part is behind the scenes. Never stops working.

Aspetti negativi:

Nothing jumps out as something I like the least.

Commenti: Overall use of Clever is fine. Getting it up and running was easy enough.

Some apps will not work no matter what i do. Clever says they should work but I haven't had any luck.

Clever for Education

Commenti: Clever is the sensible solution for teaching in the 21st century. It solves the problem of having to teach students multiple different platforms and running the risk that they get confused or lose their password to get in. Since each product requires a product username and password, clever simplifies the process by only requiring users to know one. Once they log into Clever, they are given access to all the other products they will use.

Aspetti positivi:

Clever is a one stop shop for all learning apps, links and online content. Clever can easily be customized and altered to fit the particular needs of your students, school and educational demands. Having all of the learning (from ebooks to purchased software) all in one places saves a lot of time and minimizes confusion.

Aspetti negativi:

There can be a delay between your organization adding the new learning app and having it ready for student use. It is not automatic. Sometimes it may take a day.

Great education platform

Commenti: I really love how I can download an app to Clever and it automatically rosters all of my students. I don't have to manually add 25+ students.

Aspetti positivi:

Everything is on one platform for the teachers and students to sign on various online learning sites such as zoom, Google classroom, Splash Learn, Class dojo, math and reading curriculums etc. You don't need to have passwords for the different applications you need to access. With Clever you are automatically logged in. This works so well for the lower elementary grades and students with special needs.

Aspetti negativi:

You may come across a site and/or application that is not compatible with Clever, but ask your tech administrator to see if they can troubleshoot the issue.

Great App for Students

Aspetti positivi:

Clever is used by my daughter's school and they use it for keeping track of their work and assignments. The teacher's communicate with them. We get a parent login to check in on our students and communicate with the teachers as well. I love the simplicity of the software.

Aspetti negativi:

I think there should be a text notification that is sent to the parent's phone and not just to the student when the teacher communicates with the student. That we can track the overall appropriateness of when things are being communicated.

Great for Schools

Commenti: Clever is an amazing asset and all school districts should look to invest in it.

Aspetti positivi:

Clever makes it easy to keep students connected to technology. The ease of one login for every app is beyond beneficial for young students.

Aspetti negativi:

While there are a multitude of apps to connect to, there are still many apps that students cannot log in to. But they make up for it with the ability to link to any site students may need.

Great organizational tool

Commenti: Great tool for organization tool which enables us as educators to protect our students on the internet. It enables us to organize apps and only allow access to those sites which have been approved via our district.

Aspetti positivi:

Easy way to organize the apps we want the students to use at school as well as not enable them on sites which we do not want them to be on. It syncs with our database and has little wait time for new students so they are able to get to the virtual learning immediately in this pandemic time.

Aspetti negativi:

Every so often there are glitches when the software does not let you log in quickly. These glitches are few and far between though.

All your apps in one place

Commenti: This is a good program that makes finding apps quickly. It also is great when I have to have the students go onto apps that are required by the district.

Aspetti positivi:

I like that I can create my own resource page and that I can have that accessible to my students. I also like that it houses my favorites in a special place on the first page. It's also interactive where I can write messages to my students and they can respond.

Aspetti negativi:

There are times when Clever is down and it makes for a very frustrating time. There are times where the links that are put in do not work correctly.

Helps us stay up with changing rosters!

Aspetti positivi:

The ability for Clever to sync with our databases allows us to not worry about incoming students and all the accounts they require to start classes. It easily pulls the data from our system instantly creates all their logins and teachers can see them within moments of the sync.

Aspetti negativi:

Customer service can be hard to get a hold of sometimes. Also not all applications are supported, though the list is growing pretty quickly.

Easy for my students

Commenti: Overall, Clever sets up a library of links that make it easy for my kids to get easily to the site they need to do their work. We love it!

Aspetti positivi:

Clever works by putting links to all the platforms that my kids need all on one page. The district can push things out to Clever and I can add my own.

Aspetti negativi:

There are a couple of websites I use that appear to demand I use Clever if I try to log in with my school login. It added several more clicks than I thought necessary. The work around is to log in with Google.

Commenti: I love it. The interface is clean and straight forward.

Aspetti positivi:

It works all the time. We need data to be migrated from one system to another on a daily basis and it does just that.

Aspetti negativi:

The uncertainty of their security. Your chain is only as strong as the weakest link. If they get breached, some data could be compromised.

A much needed software for distance learning

Commenti: Overall, Clever is a must-have software for distance learning in schools. It is very supportive. It is easy for students to use. The app can be accessed through either scanning the clever badge or entering the user name.

Clever is a go-to place for students doing distance learning. It houses many educational apps. It has a cool feature called messages where you can text people and it is interactive. It is compatible with phones and has the same features as on laptop.

Aspetti negativi:

Sometimes the website has stopped working and I could not access the educational apps. It has apps that is not needed or not important. The visual display is plain and not attractive enough.

Commenti: Clever helps to manage different applications very nicely. It is very user friendly.

I like that Clever can house many applications and there is one single place to sign into these applications.

I can't think of any cons. It is a good piece of software that is very beneficial to its user.

A fantastic way to manage the use of many educational apps

This software makes it very easy for me to easily find the apps my school district uses for instruction, assessment and attendance, placing all available apps in one webpage.

There is nothing that I dislike about this software.

Commenti: Overall, Clever has made accessing sights so much easier for our students.

The addition of Clever to our school account has made it simple for young students to access the necessary links and sights we use.

As a user, I have not found any negative parts. One of the cons of Clever for students has been the organization.

User-Friendly and Team Support

Commenti: Overall, my experience with Clever and the integration of one of the apps I had a problem with was super. The Clever team worked closely and quickly with the other company to get me set up for my incoming students. The CLEVER team kept me posted with how to correct issues on end while they corrected issues on theirs. The entire correcting process only took a couple of days.

Aspetti positivi:

This product is amazing in that it allows students and staff to sign in to their system one where then students can get into their various apps with one click. They are hundreds of apps that integrate with CLEVER. The platform is colorful which makes it very user friendly on the eyes.

Aspetti negativi:

I feel there could be just a little more onboarding support for newbies.But even with what is provided, this product still gives detailed tutorials through there CLEVER University to help you along the way.

Clever One Stop Shop

Aspetti positivi:

I like that this software integrates several different programs.

Aspetti negativi:

I do not like how finicky it can be with user roles. Also I’m a little disappointed with the update without warning.

Not for younger students

Commenti: It's nice to have all of the programs I use in one place

Aspetti positivi:

I am a kindergarten distance learning teacher, and though I've heard Clever is amazing for students in the higher levels, it's still super confusing for my kiddos to get in and have a one-click password experience when I have been unable to work with them on how it's used. Either the parents need to have experience and understanding or it's not being used.

Aspetti negativi:

COnfusing to initially login. It seems like if parent's don't speak English and can understand the directions, it is confusing to get them in.

Single Sign On Platform for Educators and Families

Commenti: This software has made e-learning more manageable because it allows for a single sign on. It has helped parents and caregivers access material from multiple sources and platforms in one place

Aspetti positivi:

I like that it is easy to navigate as a user. In a district with a lot of variance in parent and caregiver literacy and comfort with technology that was fairly easy to adopt.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish there were a way to sort according to your most viewed or most visited elements of MJ enthe platform.

So simple to navigate

Aspetti positivi:

Clever is easy to navigate from a parent/student point of view. Any apps needed for the day(s) are right at your fingertips and whether you gravitate towards a heading or Bitmoji/photo, it's easy to find the instructor you need.

Aspetti negativi:

As a parent, I wish each teacher had the same apps available. The 15 minute timer is a life saver and could be used across the board.
