Il miglior sistema di Business Intelligence in circolazione!

Aspetti positivi:

Da It manager ho contribuito alla selezione di questo sistema di Business Intelligence che permette di raggruppare i dati che l'azienda raccoglieva e che erano necessari alle decisioni.Permette la creazione di dashboard funzionali e molto semplici da leggere.La semplicità è sinonimo di immediatezza in questo caso: abbiamo riunito all'interno di un unico cruscotto i dati relativi alle vendite, agli acquisti, al personale e siamo riusciti anche ad incrociare i dati per arrivare alla redazione di utili kpi.Necessario per un'azienda che intenda managerializzarsi e intenda digitalizzare i propri processi.

Aspetti negativi:

I costi delle licenze non sono a buon mercato e non sempre l'assistenza clienti è superlativa ma sono inconvenienti assolutamente trascurabili rispetto ai vantaggi che tale software Bi fornisce

Software di BI perfetto per aziende di grandi dimensioni

Aspetti positivi:

Ho aiutato nell'implementazione e customizzazione di questo software di Bi che permette l'automazione della reportistica e delle statistiche.Trovo davvero utile la possibilità di creare reportistiche personalizzate e customer oriented: credo che da questo punto di vista sia uno dei migliori software presenti sul mercato.Utilizzabile anche per la creazione di budget e forecast.

Aspetti negativi:

Sicuramente il costo delle licenze non è a buon mercato, ma proporzionalmente il costo per grandi imprese è minore rispetto a quanto sarebbe per le aziende più piccole.

Statistiche a portata di mano

Aspetti positivi:

Utilizzo Board sia come Bi che come CPM. Come CPM lo ritengo molto utile perchè permette di automatizzare o scarnire di molto alcuni processi come il budgeting o il bilancio aziendale. Come BI mi permette di avere le mie statistiche a portata di mano e soprattutto permette l'accesso e la visione dei report ad utenti differenti.

Aspetti negativi:

Il processo di implementazione e le logiche sottostanti sono complesse e se usato solo come BI, probabilmente sarebbe un po' troppo elaborato anche da mantenere. Come CPM lo consiglio molto.

Aspetti positivi:

Board lets you connect and prepare data for analysis, making it easy to create visually pleasing dashboards and reports. Ensures effective management of metrics, which drive performance and productivity. It has excellent analytical and predictive functions, easy and has a lot of potential. Significantly improves decision making and guarantees optimal results.

Aspetti negativi:

Board needs to incorporate more customization options to create dashboards and reports.

Allocation & Replenishment

Commenti: we are able to better respond to store needs for stock with optimized sizing and automated stock changes.

Aspetti positivi:

Easy to use. Like that we are able to do analysis in the tool and then directly go to actions. Straight forward integration

Aspetti negativi:

Difficult to trace issues when they occur.

Terumo Sales & Operations Planning

Aspetti positivi:

Multi user capability. Integrated capabilities: schedule, reader, procedures all provide a good level of flexibility. Support organisation is always willing to help.

Aspetti negativi:

Cube limitations on number of entities. Dataview limitations on number of rows. Lack of time out on infinite sessions. Unable to run procedures on the same database when an infinite session is running. Datareaders have no variable parameter filtering capability. Performing grouping and max/min functions on cubes is difficult.

With Board, coordinating logistics is much easier

Commenti: We use this software to coordinate in a simple but effective way, all the logistics of shipments, routes and freight of our products to different customers nationwide. It has a tracking system that allows us to know the exact location of the cargo in real time.

Aspetti positivi:

The program sends real-time alerts of the entire route of the goods and the entire supply chain, notifying the arrival of the goods, if there is any delay or mishap. It has a fleet management tool, where we can organize and control the entire fleet of trucks, those that are on the route, those that are about to leave, their location and many other important details. It also allows a complete tracking of drivers, to know their history, mileage, location and determine the safety of the load.

Aspetti negativi:

Real-time updates on the location of the parcel do not load properly without a stable internet connection. The signature capture and barcode reader sometimes does not work, so we must restart the application and even the cell phone to read it. I would like the integrations to be simpler. A lot of configuration is needed for the programs I need to work correctly within the software.

Outstanding Product that has become a critical tool for managing, monitoring and operating our biz.

It's easy to train new users and integrate with new data sources. -- Powerful capabilities to "slice and dice" data, analyze different datasets, create KPIs and broadcast reports to others. We utilize Board beyond the financials... use for operational, sales, logistics, customer service and environmental applications. -- Excellent support from Board on both "how-to" questions and any internal IT issues that may arise. They take recommendations and act on them. They connect customers to share best practices. -- Frequent new releases that extend capabilities. Board stays ahead of the curve and provides new features to address their customers' potential needs in the future. -- Good price point with several license types for different user profiles.

Helpful software!

Commenti: Board is what you need to soar higher. A complete package which handles the data competently while managing the performance metrics and boosting the sales with the aid of it multipurpose budgeting features that gives a user analysis from all aspects of the firm.

Aspetti positivi:

It is user friendly, fast, tech savvy and requires minimal assistance to grasp the analytics behind this all-in-one software. Board not only helps you with metrics but gives you an analysis with respect to all levels and integrates well with SQL to give a complete picture of where the firm is standing. Its toolkit is unique and offers a versatile range of features to give you a unified view of a project.

Aspetti negativi:

Technical support is poor as the response is too slow.

Powerful CPM and BI

Commenti: Board offers the advantage of presenting and interpreting data and metrics with the most attractive reports in a unified way and with visually attractive dashboards, with information updated in real time.

Aspetti positivi:

It has an intuitive user interface and the preparation of reports and graphs is really easy to share. It provides a rich set of predefined data connectors ready to be used. Accessing the different data sources is easy, without complications that interrupt data management.

Aspetti negativi:

They can improve the response time of customer support and on the other hand, more documentation is needed to deepen the use of their functions.

Agile and robust data analysis

Commenti: Board is a robust and effective tool that provides effective data analysis and very attractive reports to develop the best strategies that help make the best decisions for our organization.

Aspetti positivi:

It is very easy to use, no programming knowledge is required to use it fully. Data analysis can be based on time, facilitating its contextualization. It allows us to customize the data pipelines to adapt it to our needs. The display and design options are excellent.

Aspetti negativi:

Customer support does not respond within the expected time frame, although their responses help to effectively resolve any issues that arise.

Easy to implement & to deploy new project

Aspetti positivi:

I've started to use Board in 2007, with 6.0 version. In this 11 year of use Board continue in develop easy to use and easy to develop Environment. I like most the support, in particular when they give not only solve to the problem, but give develop solution. Another issue I like is Board in "ALL IN ONE", so you don't need another tool to make your CPM environment . I think that this tools to give to customer the best quality price Ratio (CPM Product)

Aspetti negativi:

I really don't have anything to say in this box, but if I must say something, the documentation could be improved.

Board has helped us trim time off our monthly close process and engage more with stakeholders

Commenti: Faster reporting with more flexibility, more reports, more engagement from stakeholders due to increased communication around pertinent and timely information.

Aspetti positivi:

Board is great at merging useful data from multiple outside sources including Accounting software, Payroll, time and attendance, and even scheduling software. Through relationship management we have been able to analyze data that wasn't previously available to us.

Aspetti negativi:

With every flexible system there is a degree of maintenance and Board is no stranger to that maintenance. Unless you keep up with it, it can become overwhelming.

BOARD is amazing

Commenti: from my own experience I recommend BOARD to users

Aspetti positivi:

The framework can be adjusted to address hierarchical issues.I like the fact that it can work with existing information and have the possibility to provide us with reports. The inferface is very practical even for beginners.

Aspetti negativi:

So far the BOARD is working well for me, I have no complications with the application.

Our company uses BOARD as Management information System tool combining it's BI capabilities with CPM

Aspetti positivi:

- Very flexible software that can be setup in a couple of days - User can setup it's own reports either in BOARD directly or in the Excel/Powerpoint environment - The smaller size of the vendor allows a good relationship with consultants, technicians and marketing experts from the headquarter - Good working interface to SAP, CRM MS Dynamics and Cognos TM1 - Very logical setup of the database structure

Aspetti negativi:

- Limited performance of the Excel addin causes some crashes - When purchasing the software as a BI tool it has to be considered the need of a datamart.

Review Board

Commenti: I very much like it and it really helps getting rid of a million excel files and in having one source of truth. Would recommend it!

Aspetti positivi:

Clean and powerful concepts behind, easy to set up new data pools, reports, screens and share it with the users

Aspetti negativi:

UI is web, but does not make use of modern technology. Obiously needed documentation (e.g. for syntax) is not available or accessible. Features are sometimes at different places on the UI where you don't expect it. Would need a cleaner concept

Aspetti positivi:

What I like about this solution is its reliability. I also really like to be autonomous. Finally, the contact with the Board France teams is very appreciable.

Aspetti negativi:

I don't have much perspective on the solution yet but I would say that managing the format by line by line is tedious.

Substitute for Excel as a Controlling Tool

Commenti: We use it every day as our controlling tool. As i am a Developer I am able to build procedures, but I want to be better in doing that by visiting trainings in a regular period of time.

Aspetti positivi:

- less error-prone than Excel (more stable) - clear demonstrative grafics - you are able to limit someones rights to change anything

Aspetti negativi:

- sometimes shuts down without a reason - the wording is not always clear - the need of an additional software for presentations (convertion into Power Point as a Picture is not the best solution) - Export into Excel destroys the whole formatting

Since several years Board MIT provided the Tools for reporting, budgeting, planning and analysis.

Commenti: The ability to actually see what you want from empty table; there are no limitations to the application to build.

Open tool no limitations to what you want to do ; ability to see what is needed with no limitations. The time for development is short : you can rapidly see results Wide range of reports, tables and graphs can be made out of it Applications can be built, and modified several times without rewriting codes

Aspetti negativi:

Perhaps the lack of a program to load flat files: I could not find a pre-written tool for reading ascii files.

Board is a fantastic product

Commenti: now we have good tool for our Budget and forecast process because we can save several Versions, have a workflow control and always acurate data

One of the best BI tool in market

Commenti: I used this tool for more than a year. The tool uses a multi dimensional functionality which helps retrieve the data faster for reports and forms, which increases the performance .

Aspetti positivi:

Very easy to learn, use and deploy. There are on-premises and cloud versions available which makes this tool platform free. Various interesting BI functionalities available in this tool. Efficient in reporting, dash-boarding and planning/budgeting.

Aspetti negativi:

Only disadvantage I found about this tool is it can be installed on Windows only.

I can't do my job without Board

For me Board is a very friendly tool, one of the most lovely aspect is very the easy of use, not only from the administrator side but also from the user side

One of the positive aspect is absolutely the flexibility but it is linked to the structure created in the first phase of implementation

BOARD, a great performance management solution

Aspetti positivi:

We were introduced to BOARD after many years of experience with using alternative multidimensional budgeting, planning and reporting solutions. While many of BOARD's competitors have come and gone, BOARD has shown both a commitment to support performance management and importantly a commitment to innovation. We use the product for a number of our subsidiaries as well as deliver solutions for our clients on it.

Aspetti negativi:

The initial engagement with the product is slightly different to other approaches and does take a little time to re-educate yourself to its methods, but once you do the reasons BOARD chose this way becomes clear.

Too many functions

Aspetti positivi:

Very flexible software that can be setup in a couple of days, it was very easy to learn how to use this

Aspetti negativi:

There are too many functions and it was a little overwhelming at first really. I think too many hours can be invested just by trying to properly get this to function.
