The applicant tracking system is the most valuable to me in my day to day job. Icims does a great job of tracking resource from start to finish as for onboarding.

Limited attachments for candidate application/profile (couldn't add more than 3 documents); on the candidate status part, there's no confirmation, so once you click on a status (like phone screen or interview), it automatically changes. Clunky interface

Alot - it is very intuitive and System Config being able to do much of what we need to do on our own and / or use that to figure out what we might need assistance with. the test site and being able to easily move new configs to production. the ability to integrate with other products so easily. User Group configuration, permissions are easy to set.
Aspetti negativi:
a very micro response but not having the ability to report on before and after field values. this was discussed in 13 or 14 and still not available. some of the reporting is limited and not being able to compare some statuses to current date would be nice

ATS that has great value
Commenti: We first chose this software because it was more competitive and more user friendly than our previous ATS. As the years have past, the customizable features to make it work for any industry and the reporting capability is why we have continued to renew. The Help Desk team is extremely responsive and don't make you feel stupid for asking a question.
Aspetti positivi:
We like the ease of use for job seekers, administrators and Hiring Managers. The customer service in the Help desk is excellent as well.
Aspetti negativi:
The reporting is so robust, it can be daunting to figure it out. Once you get the hang of it, you realize the possibilities are endless.

Great solution for a large company
Commenti: We have been able to work with the software ok. There is a bit of a clunky feel to it sometimes especially when reporting, going through the various candidate phases /bins, etc.

I like that it has visuals and dashboards for various roles. The best feature is being able to login as a user to see what they see. That is fantastic!
Aspetti negativi:
It is a bit too much and too configurable for our size company (approx 720 ees). I don't like how the reports are really a search. I don't like how iCIMS support doesn't work with us regarding best practices. I think that should be a main focus so that iCIMS is always researching what the best practices are so they can pass along the info to their customers.

Very robust system
Commenti: Overall, I would not recommend this applicant tracking system. It's very overwhelming and difficult to navigate. It's also very difficult to see where candidates are at in the process.
Aspetti positivi:
The software is very robust. There are endless amounts of reports that you can run from iCIMS and there's a lot of features within a candidate profile. I really enjoy using the Dashboard as you're able to pull so much information.
Aspetti negativi:
This software is sometimes very overwhelming. It takes so many clicks to get to a candidate's profile and there are an overwhelming amount of features within a candidate's profile. It is also very difficult to figure out how to run reports and pull information you're wanting to see.

Terrible customer support, over promises and constantly under delivers. A true snake oil product
Commenti: I would recommend to all Talent professionals to stay clear of the headache that is iCIMS unless they are prepared to hire a full-time person who can complain in order to get tickets resolved. They have a great sales pitch but close to all of their features do not work fully as described. Save company time and money by choosing Greenhouse or Lever

The search functionality and report building were great, but require a lot of training in order to use properly.
Aspetti negativi:
Customer support is completely unhelpful in providing answers or fixing bugs. Many cases take 3 weeks minimum to resolve with the more extreme ones taking 6 months. Help desk support just pushes you to the knowledge base center instead of giving real answers to configuration issues. Even when you have taken all the knowledge base steps. The ATS interview scheduling tool is unreliable when syncing with the team’s calendars The feedback form tool rarely operates effectively for our hiring managers to fill out. The Microsoft Teams integration is not as advertised. Does not consistently notify in a timely manner for interviews, job approvals and offers. Often after the fact. The CRM tool with iCIMS was released to us with constant logging out errors, the search fields are incorrectly mapped to bins/status we don’t use in the ATS and our implementation contact went gone completely dark. Data migration did not fully work to allow for resume uploads to attach to candidate profiles like promised. Multiple contracted integrations were never set up due to unresponsiveness. Resulting in needing to find workarounds to keep our hiring moving. The CRM, ATS, and Text engagement are really three systems that loosely sync with each other instead of one like was pitched. All separate products with separate log-ins. The system will routinely log you out after just a few minutes of inactivity.

Commenti: iCIMS was a ever long continuous improvement project that needed constant attention. We paid an implementer to set it up and he did, but there was much left that needed to be changed. I spent endless hours on iCIMS support (who are very good) to make sure our ATS was functioning properly.
Aspetti positivi:
The customization of iCIMS is undeniable. You can create all sorts of reports and integrate it with pretty much anything.
Aspetti negativi:
You really have to know what you're doing in the system to get the most out of it. An iCIMS admin on staff is almost a necessity.
Review on iCIMS Recruit module
Commenti: Our overall experience with iCIMS is amazing. With the help of iCIMS, we gain a bigger pool of candidates from different sources, we manage well of the applications within the system and we build up a stronger talent pool for our company.

- expand our reach to wider groups of candidate: iCIMS has partnered with Google job and other free job aggregators, that job posting function helps us to reach more candidates, we do see a significant growth of quality candidate profiles for our job openings. It is very cost effective and it saves so much time on populating our jobs on different portals. - navigate with ease within the platform: it is very easy to pull out different applications and review the resume and cover letter. I like the tabs which are very clear and categorise information in good order - Very good customer support team: Whenever I call the iCIMS customer support team, there is always someone on the phone and solves the problem for us. The customer ambassadors are professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
Aspetti negativi:
Overall, I would say there is no big issue in my user experience when iCIMS. Just two minor things, - When I move the candidate to the next bins in the recruitment workflow, I couldn't find an update button. If I reload the page, it will show up the main dashboard and I have to go back to the particular job profile again. - The cover letter button does show as the same tab of resume, I have to go back to the candidate details tab and find out the cover letter. It will be great if I can see the resume and cover letter on the same tab. Besides, we think that the hiring manager app may need more modification as right now the app doesn't equip with all the functions from a web version.

Best functionality for objectively and automatically screening candidates
Commenti: With iCIMS, we've become a much more effective and efficient recruiting team. We processed more than 5,000 applications in order to hire approximately 50 employees last year alone. Because of iCIMS' unique functionality, we've spent less time to make the same quality and higher quantity of hires. This is a huge win for our team and we're excited to share our success with others.

When searching for our organization's ATS, I demoed with A LOT of vendors. I was shocked that most relied on very crude initial screening mechanisms. Most were dependent on an HR's manager review of a a resume-- HR managers would give a thumbs up or thumbs down on whether or not to advance a candidate. We are a data-driven organization, and we prioritized an ATS that offered the functionality for us to objectively and automatically screen candidates. This functionally helps to minimize human biases while simultaneously weeding out irrelevant candidates; opening our organization to a diverse but targeted hiring pool. iCIMS was the only ATS that was able to offer us this critical functionality.
Aspetti negativi:
iCIMS is far and away the industry leader on critical aspects of functionality, however user-experience is not necessarily one of those aspects. It's a clunky system (feels a bit like Salesforce in that way), and not super intuitive on how to use. We've been able to workaround this, for the most part, by really streamlining how specific people interact with the platform.

Feature Functionality is Great, Flexibility with Indeed needs improvemetn
Commenti: We have been able to quantify on a week-over-week, and now year-over-year bases key factors such as the number of open positions per region versus the number of applicants, an average number of applicants per job by region, and many other key factors on the regional level. This is important as we now know and have been able to identify why the struggle to hire is greater on one region of the country versus another.
Aspetti positivi:
iCIMS provides us with the ability to manage the thousands of applicants we recevied each year for over 500 locations around the country. Our account teams can independently manage the applicants for their open positions, but we have full visibility to all activity and can choose to be as active in the process as necessary on a per-job level.
Aspetti negativi:
The majority of our employees are "front line" employees who are working at or close to minimum wage. We need a 1-click solution, and have not been able to do that using iCIMS. More than 70% of our applicants come across Indeed, and we have a real need for a 1-click solution, but that has not been negotiated between the two companies. By the time an applicant is asked create a password, provide information that is already on a resume (phone, address, email) and then start answering job questions, they abandon it. If they could simply click once from Indeed and send it directly to the specific job advertised, it would increase our application rates exponentially. Note this is true only for our front line positions, but again, they make up more than 90% of our job postings.

GOOD tool, great support, one big miss on features
Commenti: Overall a GOOD tool. Great email response time and support and most customization is easy. implementation was a breeze, and setup was smooth. price is good when compared to other tools in the market.

We're very pleased with the basic product and with the email support. Up time is like 99%; response time is usually solid. Features are good to great in most areas, and are regularly being advanced adn improved. seem to listen to most customer feedback and build on areas of suggestion -- like the major upgrade to knock out quetsions in the most recent built. we use the system for unit and non, interns to executives, local to national field offices, and with one gaping hole, the product works very well.
Aspetti negativi:
the product has no email integration. so, candidate applies. i have a q for candidate. i send him an email out of icims. candidate answers that question? it comes to my email; it does not also come back to icims. as a result, i avhe an intern who spends 10 hours per week copying notes back into candidate profiles. notes aren't there in real time , things get missed or misplaced, etc. it's a very real weakness that has caused us to seriously consider changing platforms 3 times so far. Other miss? the cost for certain integrations such as background checks, and certian iForms use, is ridiculously EXCESSIVE. If you plan to have them hosting a lot of forms and data collection, be sure you truly understand the costs upfront. the itneraction with sites like monster is nice in theory, but it cannot take into account your job posting profiles, so you end up with a plain, flat job ad if you use the tools, and again they are fairly expensive.
Good hiring software
Commenti: Overall, iCIMS has been a great help with our hiring process. We're able to easily invite applicants to interviews and schedule them without overlap. It's made our whole process so efficient!

- Easy to organize applicants into different categories, based on where they are in the hiring process - Great option to list multiple interview times for multiple people to schedule simultaneously (without overlap) - Can send emails directly from iCIMS and create templates for ease of use

- The landing page is a little clunky when there are multiple open positions at once - We've had issues with default time zones with some users, which has been challenging to schedule interviews when someone doesn't know their iCIMS account is set to a different time zone

iCIMS Review

Aspetti positivi:
The iCIMS product offers everything I need in an ATS. It manages job postings, candidate workflow, and much more. I'm able to create candidate pipelines based on skillset which is a great organizational tool. The tool is also customizable to our needs- we recently added an offer feature and a new scheduling tool was just added.
Aspetti negativi:
Some of the features aren't very user friendly. The search function for the candidate database can oftentimes be confusing.

Comprehensive TA tool that helps organizations drive forward leveraging the analytics provided.
Commenti: We have achieved our initial TA goals with the use of iCIMS; expand our job advertisement reach, install a well managed candidate process that enhanced our candidate experience as well as improved our hiring manager experience, and to be come a data driven talent acquisition business unit. We are building on our second set of initiatives of building a stronger applicant pipeline, increasing our communication with passive and engaged candidates, and manage recruiting events through iCIMS.

We enjoy the organized dashboard views and its ability to be customized. We also enjoy the availability and customization of the workflow process that enhances our ability to manage a better time to fill, maximizing our recruiting team's time.
Aspetti negativi:
To format e-mail messaging in a better graphic format one must know a little HTML to make it better as the basic editing tool is more text driven.
Not user friendly - awful UI/UX

I am not having a good experience with Recruit. It just isn’t as flexible, sleek, and up to date with the other competitors in the market.
If the above were fixed, I guarantee you would keep a huge amount of market share - but we may pay whatever fee we need to get out of our contract as this is just a mess, and we - the customer - have to fix it ourselves (and that’s IF we can even fix it at all).

Where to start? - Ease is Use - UI/UX is clunky and outdated - Scheduling is not easy for interviews - Tasks take so much time to assign to users - Doesn’t integrate with a lot of other systems as easily as Lever, Greenhouse, etc. - Can’t “talk” to hiring managers in real time like competitors above - Ranking candidates is an “add-on” feature (as are most features) while included in most ATS’ - Recruiters have to configure their own dashboards and it is extremely difficult to do as well as time-consuming.

Icims is a great ATS
Commenti: Overall icims has been great and we have no plans to switch to a different software.

Icims overall is very easy to use and intuitive.
Aspetti negativi:
Although there are many reporting options it can be cumbersome. It would also be nice to have the ability to run one report that can capture both job and applicant data in one report.
Robust Tool with a Challenging Interface
Commenti: We've worked hard on getting our sourcing solidified so we can truly see where our candidates are coming from.
Aspetti positivi:
Incredibly robust - most cases anything is possible and can make the system meet that need. Reporting, while difficult to understand at first, is strong and can report on almost any business need that arises. Love the customization when it comes to recruiter dashboards, what we find important, and messaging. First class customer service; love working with our client success manager to improve our use of the system.
Aspetti negativi:
It seems iCIMS is an ATS built with admins in mind which can make it a bit more confusing for Recruiters, especially those just getting started. It heavily relies on our administrators for some simple things in assisting our recruiting team (especially reports). Our pricing went up drastically when we came around to sign our second contract.

iCIMS is top notch!

I love the customization of iCIMS - we have multiple segments of our organization with several different locations all with slightly different needs. iCIMS allows you to customize the applicant tracking system, workflows, reports and platform very easily. In addition, their customer support is amazing! They are always available and helpful in crafting a solution to meet any unique request.

I truly can't come up with anything I do not like about iCIMS.

It's very user friendly, it takes half the time it used to take me in order to post, get candidates and get them onboarding! Best move we ever made switching over to iCIMS Recruit/Onboard!
Aspetti negativi:
It would be nice if managers got an email alert once candidates have completed 100% of the onboarding tasks rather than having to go in and check daily to see if they have completed their tasks. I realize there are reports which are great but a simple notification saying "Joe Smith has completed their tasks", would be awesome!
