Software is very intuitive. Click and drag, clear tabs and icons, colour coding, internal memo system, ease of emailing records/diagnostic reports.
To me this is double work and frustratingly inefficient.

Clear choice for our non-profit animal sanctuary and spay/neuter clinics
Commenti: The implementation team was stellar in helping us switch from Avimark to ezyVet. The conversion team did an outstanding job with almost no involvement from us. All data was converted accurately. Again, because we are not the 'normal' type of customer for ezyVet, our implementation manager needed to find ways to handle many unique things that we required that would not be a requirement for a regular vet clinic. He was almost always able to come up with a great solution. We were very pleased. The support team is very responsive and very knowledgeable. Their ticketing system works well for our staff to input their question or concern and get the direction they need. Turnaround is good.

We are a non-profit animal sanctuary and the majority of our medical services are provided to the approximately 1700 animals we have at the sanctuary at any given time. They are a wide variety of species and their services run the gamut of simple shelter medicine (vaccines, spay/neuter, simple meds) to very complex services (surgeries, hydrotherapy, alternative medicine, wildlife rehabilitation, etc.). We needed a solution flexible to handle all of these variations. ezyVet offered full functionality to manage care for all of our types of animals and types of customers, and was able to successfully report by these breakouts. We also rolled out ezyVet to our spay/neuter clinic which serves our animals, non-profits and public customers. The key things we were looking for when we selected ezyVet were: > System stability > System accessible from anywhere (cloud based) > Able to handle unique pricing of services for our animals, employees, non-profits, and public customers; pricing model also varied by type of product/service > Able to report expenses and revenue by categories of our animals, employees, non-profits and public customers > Able to use same software for both types of clinics > Incorporates whiteboard (integrated with SmartFlow) > Seamless integration with our lab, x-ray and ultrasound equipment and vendors > Significant paperless functionality > Management of clinic inventory > All data available via API ezyVet met all of our criteria.
Aspetti negativi:
Since we are a non-profit, the standard reporting in ezyVet does not provide most of what we are looking for. We are pursuing bringing the data into our data warehouse via the API so we can create our own reports. Also, the learning curve was quite steep. ezyVet is not easy to learn for the less tech savvy staff. However, once they learned it, it has been fairly easy to use. We have used the client portal at our spay/neuter clinic. Because of our unique clientele of shelters and rescues having many animals per client, we have experienced problems with using the portal for viewing records but it has worked well for scheduling appointments. We are setting up the client portal for internal use at the sanctuary for scheduling appointments and getting answers to medical questions. We have experienced some limitations in the functionality to set up questions and answers.

Commenti: Overall, I find it to be very comparable to other products it is competing against.

The major features are intuitive enough.
Aspetti negativi:
Not enough control to create templates and edit them for users, we are struggling to get the templates we need and want because the users have no control of this, only admin, and then it increases the workload. Overly specific timestamps cause more problems than they help solve.
Alternative considerate:
A Waste of Money in More Ways Than One! NOT User Friendly! Support Is Not there!!
Commenti: Nightmare!! Implentars struggle with their own software, which left us hanging on many occasions while they tried to figure something out. I tried to have an automatic report delivered and ended up with over 8000 emails of the same report <--- That is not an exaggeration. EzyVet support had to disable the report totally because they too, couldn't stop their own software from reporting it. Then they had no answer as to why, or what happened. Once the 3 days of "Off-Site" implementation were done, (implementation was done via Zoom) we really were left to our own accord. Inventory has been the most enormous mess. The "Help" tab is useless! It's a word salad game! EzyVet has a communication breakdown with our in-house lab equipment. Something that we knew would have a learning curve and may drop us back on production for 30 days, has truly exceeded those thoughts and has hurt our bottom line.

It's not user-friendly- Inventory is a bloody nightmare- too many steps that need to be taken for some uses, leaving many ways for errors to occur or charges to be missed.

too many ways to do to many of the same things

Efficiency of note taking, speed/ease of working from home, straightforward functionality and organization.
Aspetti negativi:
Not coordinating fully with all lab equipment (IDEXX is good, but Zoetis labs do not entirely coordinate), group codes not able to be used in estimates makes things a little harder

Commenti: I find it a good PMS, it is something that I use daily and I am happy with it and it does actually serve us well.

I find it easy to use, customizable, efficient and it solves almost every issue we have.
Aspetti negativi:
Sometimes, the slowness can be an issue on larger sites.

I like ezyvet more than other softwares I have used. It is easy to use and is constantly updating to make everything more efficient.

The only think I dislike about ezyvet is that it is not able to link to sister clinics that we have.
Good value
Aspetti positivi:
Ease of record keeping, for an affordable price. It will change your workflow for the better.
Aspetti negativi:
Still improving in some areas, most of the times it's for the better. Getting requests in or bugs fixed is rather slow/cumbersome though.

There are a few things that I like compared to our past system. There is an ease of use and as a Client Service Representative that is fantastic. Payment are also very easy. I love that I can email everything straight from the software versus having to download everything. Appointment confirmation is very easy to do as well.
Aspetti negativi:
On the veterinary assistant and CSR side, easy of use can be tough when it comes to medical records and where to look for certain things. I also do not like when I am trying to navigate out of a patient chart and I click on the schedule and it automatically prompts to make an appointment. This can be a very frustrating thing.
Alternative considerate:
Best PMS. I wish I would have switched sooner.

The customizability of the software in every aspect is amazing. You can get as creative or basic as you would like. I also like the autofill functions and snippets.

I would like to see a better online portal, possibly through an app. People LOVE apps and the ability to access their records, medications, appointments, etc. for their pets (possibly even with notifications/reminders)

The calendar, scheduling, internal memos, Dashboard features, clinical layout make each staff members workflow efficient and easy to trace so other staff members can follow up and assure all tasks and patient care is completed

Super simple program

- templates are difficult to learn- poor dental charting capacity - it's there but have to click on each tooth- doesn't integrate with 3rd party Vetcheck which is my biggest need.
EzyVet Practice Software
Commenti: EzyVet software has allowed for growth of our business. Once navigation of the program is learned, it flows very well.

EzyVet has improved the overall flow of our specialty office. It offers features that allow us to customize how we use the system.
Aspetti negativi:
The medication section could be improved to allow better flow with current medications on/ off. The volume of variables can cause differences between doctors that makes it challenging to find information for each one.

It has been an easy system to learn. There are multiple ways of getting things done. The way you can link things to work together helps in multiple ways.

Intuitive and Easy to Use Software
Commenti: It's definitely a step up from any other software I've used.
Aspetti positivi:
Ezyvet streamlines and automates a lot of items that aren't addressed in other software and takes a huge burden off the clinic staff so we can be much more functionally useful to patients.
Aspetti negativi:
There are some places where change logs aren't in place, in particular prescription requests that could be added for easier tracking. Also the memo system does leave something to be desired. There's a lot of instances of lost communications since the reply option doesn't actually group the messages, so we end up with a lot of redundancy in associates addressing issues or looking for answers that have already been resolved.

Love all of the functions, have way more client and patient information at hand.

Splitting payments, and having multiple payment methods show up on invoices would be our biggest clinic complaint.

Aspetti positivi:
I like that there is the ability to see so much information on your patients and clients on on screen. The amount of information that is available on their charts is amazing!
Aspetti negativi:
I honestly feel like there are too many colors on all the tabs. I would prefer a bit of a simpler color scheme. I would also like for there to be a simpler way to get from point A to point B without having to use several tabs.

Highly Detailed, Poorly Organized
Commenti: It includes all the details needed for a veterinary file, but there are way too many tabs and locations to find each small piece of information. Simplicity would be the key to improvement.

I like the green tab and the organization of the current visit. It is easy to find the diagnostic requests/medications due today. It is easy to input TPR and plan. The text message communication option is great.
Aspetti negativi:
I like least that I cannot easily see what a patient is due for (vaccines/bloodwork ect). I don’t like how we cannot add our own options to the TPR section. I would like to have an additional option for gums: tacky, pink & tacky, pale & tacky, pink & moist. There is no option for skin tenting under the TPR. Also, the dental charting is far too basic. I would like a chart with gingivitis, tartar and pocket depth selections for EACH tooth. This will help during dentistries. It would be great if we could see rads from the file as well. Patient alerts should include food allergy options. Also, as a tech I occasionally help the front desk with billing, but have not been able to do that recently since the financial part is too difficult for me to do last minute. It should be simplified and perhaps accessible from the green tab.
