It helps you send invoices as well as get paid in your local currency so you don't have to deal with the hassle of bank remittances and all the additional formalities that come with it. I've extensively used Veem to bill one of my clients and the experience has been good. It has all the basic use-cases covered. Although, it's limited in terms of advanced options such as taxation, GST, email customization, payment gateway integrations, etc. > > **Inconvenienti**: There was an instance when I wanted to attach a couple of documents along with my invoice email and I was surprised to see that Veem doesn't support it at all. I think it's a very common use case where Freelancers bill their clients for additional equipment/software that they've purchased on the client's behalf and want to send the bills for it. Every interaction required unnecessary waiting, and no one provided a clear explanation or timely resolution. > > My experience with Veem was awful from start to finish. The payment was sent on June 18 and took 3–4 business days just to appear in my Veem account. When the funds were transferred to my bank, the transaction failed and the money was returned to the sender. Despite the transfer never being completed, I was still charged approximately USD $30 in fees. The worst part was dealing with customer support. Instead of receiving meaningful assistance, I repeatedly received generic automated responses that failed to answer my questions. After waiting for weeks, on July 3 I was informed that my case had been escalated and that the investigation could take an additional 3 to 21 business days. After already waiting since June 18, asking customers to wait several more weeks for a resolution is simply unacceptable. Veem promotes itself as an international payment platform, but my experience was the opposite of reliable. Slow processing, poor communication, and ineffective customer service made what should have been a simple payment an unnecessarily frustrating experience. This was my first and last time using Veem.
