Commenti: Very positive experience, it's easy to talk to the same people any time you have an issue, and not be bounced around through different employees.

Aspetti positivi:

As the sole developer in a small ecommerce shop, I was in charge of selecting a company to handle our sales tax compliance. I like TaxCloud because they are inexpensive and also because their API is not needlessly complex. Everything is straight forward and we haven't had any problems in the two years we've been using them.

Aspetti negativi:

Nothing in particular, and I don't have any major complaints.

Ability Commerce clients love the value of TaxCloud vs. alternatives on the market. Per an Ability OMS client… “Huge time savings—managing sales tax went from two weeks a month to just one day.” Great application integration support. During the integration work by Ability Commerce to integrate Ability OMS with TaxCloud, our questions were responded to quickly by knowledgeable staff. Seamless integration between TaxCloud and Ability OMS ensures all transactions are covered. Productive partnership between TaxCloud and Ability Commerce from the start is a good thing for our mutual clients!

Nothing here! We would love to see TaxCloud add automation for Canadian tax, etc. We look forward to it being a future roadmap item for consideration.

Tax Cloud

Aspetti positivi:

It is easy to enter in an address and retrieve the tax rate for that destination, on the tax rate page. This helps us when entering in a manual order and we need the correct tax rate. The overall look and layout of Tax Cloud is more pleasing to the eye than our previous system.

Aspetti negativi:

It is hard to navigate and find transactions that have been uploaded. Additionally, it is not listed in full page that you can search under all transactions. You must click the month and filter before you search for the transaction. When uploading a transaction, it asks for the same information multiple times. This is the same for when you are uploading a tax exempt document. It is time consuming to enter in the same information over and over again. Lastly, when entering in a transaction it will have you fill out the information page by page. It would be easier if all information requested was listed in one web page without having to hit "next". From time to time, a mistake will be entered and you have to back track a lot to fix it. If it were on one page I could scroll up.

Commenti: I entered the information wrong and that was my fault. I needed help on changing this information and your customer service refused to help because I haven’t paid. If I don’t know if this isn’t going to work correctly then I am not going to pay for the product yet.

Didn’t get to try this out and I have NO Pros

Customer service is non existent unless you purchase maybe. I don’t know because I couldn’t get ANY help and was told I didn’t have a paid plan and refused to help.

Tax Cloud

Commenti: As long as we have full exemption or fully taxable everything is great. it gets a little wonky with partial exemption.

makes the reporting and collection process easy with our ERP system

Helpful for NonProfits

Aspetti positivi:

Taxcloud makes staying in compliance easy, we have multiple tax codes for Washington state and we don't have to worry about figuring out how to make it work.

Aspetti negativi:

The reports have to be found in TaxCloud and not my WordPress dashboard.

Best value and accurate collection and filing.

Tax Cloud was inaccurately calculating our taxes. Customer Service to try to get this corrected was basically non existant.

Taxcloud Review

Commenti: We are using Taxcloud to have Odoo auto calculate tax based on zip code. overall it has been great

Aspetti positivi:

integration into Odoo CRM was easy. TaxCloud is perfect for those who have very little technical skills or low skills in accounting this software will assist in reports and calculations for you. Overall the service and customer support is amazing. They assisted with everything I needed and pointed me in the right direction.

Aspetti negativi:

I do feel little expensive when it comes to cost per transaction. if you have many calls the price does go down but when your small to medium size business it is little on pricey side. I am technical and I am able to remove taxcloud and use odoo manual tax import and export option. Although integration is easy the support and relying on API is not sustainable. Odoo had error in taxcloud API and taxcloud cant help due to Odoo side.

Cumbersome to use

I only use tax cloud because it is required by our website developers.

Aspetti negativi:

Tax Cloud does not always follow the rules that our state has in place regarding capturing tax on shipping charges, etc. If I need to adjust the order total for some reason - the tax does not recalculate correctly. There is absolutely no way to manually override the amount of tax charged.

Never had any problems

I've used tax cloud for more years than I can remember and it has served me well. It operates in the background, taking care of taxes for my online sales. I never really have to think about it, which is the best compliment I can give.

I can't think of anything that has been a problem.

Hassel Free Sales Tax Management

Commenti: Overall Tax Cloud does a great job for the money you pay them.

I like that they take care of Sales tax and I do not have to worry about that and I can manage my business.

Aspetti negativi:

The only improvement I could add is that if there is a problem that instead of email response - sometimes you just need to talk to a person to get things resolved quicker.

Love TaxCloud

My sales are mostly online and I was really worried about complying with sales tax requirements in multiple states and counties. TaxCloud does all the work for me.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish that I could change my location/the Point of Sale location when needed. If I could change my Point of Sale location I could use it when I travel for shows, instead of having to file as a Remote Vendor for that state. TaxCloud already has the ability to charge the correct sales tax for every state/county so I just need to be able to change the Point of Sale location.

Works most of the time

When you subscribe it just works without much issue.

Aspetti negativi:

If you discontinue you get notices from random states that your taxes need filed with them or you'll get fined. I ended up just reactivating because the states were a hassle because you were required to file electronically and couldn't manually do it after TaxCloud was submitting. While not necessarily a direct issue with TaxCloud, there needs to be a better way to deactivate with all states that they have you submitting so you can start up again with a new vendor or just close your business. When engaging support, sometimes they're fast and responsive, sometimes they're the opposite.

solid product

Commenti: Good product, dashboard could be more intuitive/user friendly, cost is ok but was a big jump from 9.99 to 30.00 per month.

That I got this review before even using taxcloud. And that taxcloud sent us a monthly bill for October and we were still in the process of signing up.

Organized and easy

Aspetti positivi:

I like that it helps me calculate per state and organizes everything for me. I can download documents myself. No more late nights. It takes me about 30 minutes to finish my sales and use tax now.

It’s expensive. I need it so I use it. But I wish I could pay a little less.
