Their customer support is excellent, and they have implemented the few feature requests I've made. We are a large grooming salon with over 6,000 clients and 12–14 stylists and support staff. Since June 17 (today is July 15), the software has become almost unusable. Nearly every click takes 9+ seconds. We're missing client data, Notes have disappeared, and entire phone/text histories are gone in countless cases. Conversations, important client information, and records that help protect both our clients and our business have simply vanished. At this point, I cannot confidently trust anything in the system to be accurate. We've documented everything with videos, screenshots, internet speed tests, and detailed descriptions. We've checked our internet, restarted equipment, cleared cookies and cache, tested from multiple locations and networks, and provided Gingr with everything they've requested. Despite all of that, virtually nothing has been resolved. The customer support has been even worse than the software. For the last month, I have called hundreds of times, and that is not an exaggeration. Every call says the average wait is 6–7 minutes, yet after about 11 minutes on hold, I'm disconnected and sent to voicemail. Think about that. Even assuming only 20 calls a day over 24 business days, that's roughly 88 hours spent on hold, only to be sent to voicemail. I've also left 10+ voicemails. \*\* Not one has ever been returned to date.\*\* On July 9, I finally reached someone, only the 4th time I'd spoken to a person since June 17. I was told they were discussing my case "right then" and that I would absolutely receive a callback. I even gave them until 12:00 p.m. the following day. They promised someone would call. They never did. It's now July 15. No callback. No email. No update. No accountability. To make matters worse, they've now removed the option to even wait on hold. You're immediately directed to voicemail, which, based on my experience, they simply don't return. Meanwhile, Gingr had absolutely no trouble processing our monthly subscription payments. They're happy to collect subscription fees while existing customers are left with unreliable software, disappearing client records, and customer support that is effectively nonexistent. Our staff have been brought to tears. Our clients are frustrated by unreasonable checkout delays, or long hold times while we're trying to process things. I am completely at my wits' end. The amount of time, stress, lost productivity, and disruption this has caused is beyond unacceptable. In my opinion, Gingr seems more focused on signing up new customers than supporting the ones already paying them. If they don't have the capacity to answer phones, return voicemails, or resolve business-impacting issues, why continue bringing on more businesses? This comes after switching from DaySmart just over a year ago. I invested hundreds of hours setting up Gingr, manually moving thousands of pre-booked appointments, customizing the system, and training my team. What wasn't made clear was how much of that burden would fall on us, or how little support we'd receive. When I inquired on the possiblility for assistance setting up the points program, the email responses were surprisingly rude. I don't enjoy posting negative reviews because I know they can make or break a business. I told Gingr on July 9 that if I didn't receive the promised callback by July 10 at noon, I would post an honest review. I waited another five days. I still haven't heard a single word. If I hadn't already invested so much time into this platform, and if my team wasn't already beyond exhausted from dealing with its ongoing problems, we would have switched providers already. The only thing keeping us here is the enormous amount of time and effort it would take to start over while trying to keep our business running.
