Commenti: Fantastic, great team. They are so good it feels like we are part of the same company sometimes! They are fun, very helpful and well mannered! I love customer service and this team are a great example of how a company should project those skills.

I love that rotacloud has allowed me to gain time back for other responsibilities. It makes rota writing so much easier and quicker, helping my work load be more manageable.

Aspetti negativi:

I would say our staff would raise issues because they are reluctant to use the excellent help section. I personally do advise to use the product on the laptop rather than the app for those who struggle with mobile tech.

Good shift management system for arts organisations

Commenti: Its a really good system for our venue (performing arts) that is popular with all our users. The support is quick, helpful and friendly.

Very easy to use and is popular with our full-time staff and our freelance and casual staff. Easy to see who is called and when and what work they are going to be doing.

Aspetti negativi:

The desktop interface could do with a bit of updating to show a bit more information and some different options (views) for how the information is displayed.

Commenti: It was easy to set up and for all stakeholders to use and understand. It has definitely filled a much needed gap for communicating working hours, absence management, payroll reporting and has increased the availability of management information.

The functionality to get effective information for processing payroll and support business management analysis.

Aspetti negativi:

It lacks a little flexibility as not all our workforce are rota-based and so functionality and reporting can be limited for parts of our workforce.

Simple to use, and any issues are address or suggestions for changes are always taken onboard

not so much a dislike more a feature I would benefit from is if there was an option to bulk print rotas, for example we post our rotas 4 weeks in advance (they get posted due to this being the preference as they are not good with technology) at the moment I have to print every individual locations Rota for every one of the 4 weeks and doing this for everyone is just so time consuming, so if there was a way to bulk print chosen locations from a date to date that would be very beneficial but other than that I have no dislikes about the system at all.

Aspetti positivi:

Rotacloud was very simple to set up and very easy to use. Its intuitive and the layout is functional. There are video guidelines to help the set up, and the online support is mostly very quick. Employee online documents are great for storing HR related material and there are options for the employee to sign, so you have proof that they have read the document. Lots of reports on costs, employee lateness and sickness, etc. Shifts are easy to set up and copy.

Aspetti negativi:

Changing pay rates half way through a pay period cannot be done, but this is a mild niggle. A shift week can be copied with ease, but one shift can be copied but not with ease, its a hold the mouse button down and move function. Would be good to have a drop down calendar to enable a single shift to be copied with ease.

Rotacloud for an independent UK based bookseller

Commenti: My independent bookselling business based in the UK has seven locations using RotaCloud and we have recently added Special Events for the shows that we attend. We find it very useful and generally the staff like it.

Aspetti positivi:

RotaCloud can be used easily on both desktop and mobile devices. My payroll specialist is able to see all vacation and holiday taken by each staff member. I'm now using RotaCloud to handle staffing for events.

Aspetti negativi:

Some staff find it tricky to use. I'm not super happy with the plane symbol for vacation, how about a palm tree?

The most efficient way to schedule shifts.

Commenti: It has really helped me in tracking my employees working hours and even monitor their absence. It makes it easier to understand my employees shift costs and manage them well,it's so amazing.

It is a very easy to use tool and I use it for arranging shifts and recording time. We no longer worry about staff looking or staffs showing up for the wrong shift, RotaCloud has our back. For the beginners this is what you need for effective in your work. It drives the productivity and efficiency of my business.

I haven't encountered major challenge so far.

Made rota organising a lot easier

Commenti: Great, initially very different to how we managed rota's here but soon got the hang of it, if unsure the support team are at hand and answer / address concerns rapidly.

Very easy to use. I like how the system emails my individual team members updates of rota changes. My whole team find it easy to use and makes requesting holiday an easier process. Great Support team.

Aspetti negativi:

There areas that could be developed. I would like the system to calculate annual leave off the hours you have created via shifts. Printable rotas for select dates / periods too.

Easy start up and basic function

Commenti: I will continue to use it, I do like it, I have to say the price hike has given me somewhat of a reflection to have a look elsewhere, but I am still happy with the product itself

It’s very easy to access, simple tasks are fundamentally accurate - it does take a little bit of working out to begin with - but once you’ve got it it is very simple, Rotas are easy to understand, colour coding for staff positions make the opening page very easy to quickly check when necessary

Aspetti negativi:

The price fluctuates by how many staff you have, which many others do, but I did find a little issue when starting up, quoted one price - charged another as there “was a price change between quote and start up” this was rectified - but then I had to pay extra for some optional features that I had initially been using and had thought were as standard.

Excellent System

Aspetti positivi:

Excellent system, easy and intuitive to set up and manage. Managers love it, staff love it - 24/7 access to rotas & for submitting vacation requests, live updates straight to their phones - and we love it for it's ability to have timed clock-in/out, attendance records, etc for HR management. Saved us so much time and stress, and well worth the investment. Fingers crossed - also not a single glitch since we started using it, c/w 99% of all the other apps, software, systems we use in the business.

Please add 'Sick Leave' and 'Unpaid Leave' as options in the Edit Shift pop-up on the rotas page!

All the features are easy to use, nothing is over complicated. The customer service is really fast and problems are solved usually within a matter of minutes

Easy to use staff management software

Commenti: Staff management is excellent. We'd struggle to complete staff management tasks now without the software and functionality of the software.

Good to be able to copy shifts forward to cover future weeks. Easy to swap staff from one shift or role to another.

Nothing to fault really, have looked at other software but RotaCloud continues to meet our needs.

UK based- rapid response to queries. Very user friendly - extremely reliable. Employees can use it easily. Easy administrative function. Multiple sites and roles and staff can be managed.

Staff have to use 'Other Leave' for appt requests or shift swaps. Maybe a different tile? Not sure what. 'Request' - don't know

Simple to use and highly effective once set up

The simplicity of the set up. Yes there is a lot of data entry initially but once completed it saves huge amounts of time with paper timesheets being incorrect and attendance records being so accurate.

Commenti: Excellent experience would not want to use any other systems. Rota Cloud TICKS all the boxes. Highly recommend. The days of waiting on call backs and trying to cover shifts are removed by a system that can reach all employees in seconds. Rotacloud is a game changer.

Great system, great customer service!

Commenti: Overall, RotaCloud is our life saver! All of our team benefit from each feature on RotaCloud, from managers to HR to care coordinators to our health care assistants.The customer service is one of their greatest features, as all the team are so helpful, friendly and professional!

Firstly, the customer service from RotaCloud is outstanding, they are always on hand to talk, they are friendly and always do their best to help you via their chat service. It's a great balance between professional and fun, myself and the team will send funny gif's and memes!The system itself is put together very well and is very user friendly - its very easy to schedule shifts on the Rota, to complete time sheets and monitor annual leave. The reports system is an amazing feature, it breaks down everything from sickness reports, to how many hours worth of shifts per month. It saves us a lot of time working it out individually. It is my favourite feature working with HR. Another great feature that we use all the time is the bulk action tool, which allows you to move shifts from one employee to another in one go, rather than one by one. It saves the company a lot of time!

Aspetti negativi:

A feature that would need to be improved on timesheets would be that it would be helpful if when there is a missing clock in record, it flags up which clock in record is missing, rather than flagging up the day. Due to the nature of our business (community care) our staff can have 10+ shifts allocated per day. So when it flags up, it becomes quite time consuming to go through each one to check where the missing record is! We are currently experiencing a bug with the bulk action tool whereby we are unable to bulk action any shifts from the "open shifts". However, this has been reported to Meg and she has been a great help in getting this looked into!

Much more efficient management of holiday allowances and leave requests.

Aspetti positivi:

This software has been great for us and moving to it, from pen and paper, was the best decision we ever made. We have most definitely saved time in both writing and administering rotas, and the app means that all the staff know when they are expected in work without being able to say they hadn't been told! It is generally really easy to use from both a Manager and Employees point of view. The customer support is excellent, with questions being answered very quickly through the online chat facility. This is also great as it means you have a record of the conversations so if you need to refer back to something later on then you are able to do so. We manage two sites and 6 rotas in total across the business with nearly 100 employees. Being able to manage the leave through rotacloud has proven far more efficient and ensured that we are not in danger of finding ourselves at the beginning of December with a lot of holiday to make up with staff - something that seemed to happen every year historically.

Aspetti negativi:

There are some quirks which I would love to see ironed out. The 'Availability' function cannot cope with both ongoing requests and individual requests at the same time which is really frustrating. The majority of our crew are casual employees who have ongoing commitments as well as one off commitments so we have had to come up with a workaround to enable them to add all of their availability without the danger of some of it being missed. It would also be useful to have an easy way to see, and reinstate, past employees. With a very transient workforce, often away at university or travelling for long periods, we don't want to keep them on the system but need to be able to reinstate them when they return. I currently do this via a link but an easier way would be better.

Not perfect, but pretty good

Commenti: The cons I describe above are really small, and are 'enchancements' or dev requests more than problems. I could not run this business without RotaCloud!

Aspetti positivi:

Being online means I can create rotas at home or work, and the app means team can access their rotas in the way that's easiest for them. I like being able to copy a shift from one day/person to another, and being able to copy a week's shift from one week to another. The reporting is good also, enabling me to do payroll easily.

Aspetti negativi:

A few things are bit fiddly and could be improved. 1. having to change between publish mode and rota mode. it would be better to be able to publish a week with a button, or a right click for just one shift. 2. it is cumbersome having to create holidays in a different screen. it would be better to be able to do it from within the rota screen. 3. if I'm creating a rota for next week, and then navigate away to, say the holiday screen, when I go back to the rota screen it will go back to THIS week not the week I was editing. On more than one occasion I haven't spotted that and erroneously then edited THIS week instead! 4. it would be great to be able to include paid leave in the report so that I know to include that person's day in a pay run. At the moment, I have created a role of 'paid leave' so that their holiday hours get included in their hours for that week 5. I like being able to see how many shifts a person has for that week (ie in a row) but it would also be helpful to see how many shifts are logged for each day (ie in a column).
