Printlogic - Great value and amazing support
Commenti: Our overall experience has been a great one. From the onboarding call(s) to the training sessions, [SENSITIVE CONTENT], and all the developers have done an amazing job of getting us set up and making it clear that they will customize as many options as possible to set things up the way we like it. We are still somewhat evaluating the software and haven't fully committed to it, but I'm confident that we can make the complete switch to PrintLogic and use it as our main MIS software to help the company run smoother.

The overall design of the app is nice and clean. There is a ton of customization available and the team at PrintLogic has been unbelievable in terms of support and are always quick to respond. I have yet to see this level of service with any other company, especially not when it comes to software. They are constantly adding new features and it is clear that they truly value their customers and what they are looking for. They are quite adamant about customizing everything so that it meets our needs, despite the smaller size of our company.
Aspetti negativi:
There are a lot of features related to offset/litho printing that do not relate to our (Mostly wide-format vinyl/sign printing) industry, and some features & wording are not required or useful. I understand that this software is geared towards several different printing industries but it would be nice to have the option to remove all features and wording related to offset/litho printing. There are some quirks when it comes to material calculations but we're still in the early stages of setting it up and user error is usually the cause for most of our confusion. Exporting the data so it can be brought into Quickbooks Desktop has been a bit confusing, but I'm confident that we can get it sorted out. Direct integration with QBD would be nice but I understand they can't possibly cover all the possible integrations that clients might need.
PRINTLOGIC REVIEW
Commenti: I have found the programme very easy to use. It exports the invoices into Sage, which helps with time management for our book keeper and eliminates the mistakes from manual entry. The reports are invaluable for marketing, so sales can see chase up quotes that have not been taken up, and chase clients who have not ordered for a certain period of time.

It is easy to use, generates many reports to aid with the running of the business and you can have bespoke reports created.. We have had one created we use at the end of the month showing all the jobs that have not yet been invoiced to ensure we invoice all the jobs we have produced that month.
Aspetti negativi:
When you amend a small item of a quote you are working on it changes everything and can adjust the price that you had worked out completely. You can work around this, but need to be aware of it.
Usage of Print Logic System
Commenti: Overall, Printlogic is actually a convenient and powerful. It is easer to track our orders from customer and details, however, our company is still adjusting the features. I use printlogic for job tracking only.

The most impactful feature is one job can be access to all departments, we can track status, costing and project management. Easy access to get Job Sheet as well.
Aspetti negativi:
Time sheet is convenient however the we as a user cannot give remarks to explain to our analyst and we cannot view or print the time sheet for review purpose. It would be an ease if Printlogic have this feature. We have to get access from website as well, I would like to suggest Printlogic to have an apps that can work on phone and computer for a much better access.

Relatively inexpensive for team use, relatively low learning curve, browser based, responsive support staff

There are certain features that could be improved on, most of all the production manager could be tweaked to be more user friendly. While many things have customization options, more could be added on front end, rather than requiring support staff to implement. Client facing documents (statements, invoices, estimates) could use a facelift and more customization options.

Commenti: Overall, I like it and customer service has been awesome.

Overall, compared to our old system, it was easier to set up. It still doesn't replace common sense when it comes to production, at least I haven't found a way to make it 100% accurate. But some of the features have saved us time, especially in the billing process.
Aspetti negativi:
Setting up run rates was (and still is) problematic, point in case, I had to make 4 different set ups of the same press to cover different scenarios. Also, there's no way I know of to copy and combine multiple repeat orders in to one new order. And there's an issue when copying a quote to a new quote then making that new quote and order, for some reason the information in the description box won't copy over.....something I've been meaning to ask about

SPC & Printlogic
Commenti: Printlogic has enabled us to quote some work alot quicker, we can talk to clients over the phone and quote them items in minutes, where it took much longer with out old sotfware.

We moved from Imprint to Printlogic, originally looked to save money on our current system. PrintLogic had a lot of features that appealed to us from Management Reports to quick and easy estimating and job tickets.It took quite a while to get the software to a point where we could go operational. And the support team also managed in upload our legacy data too, meaning we still have some information for our previous software.

Originally there were a couple of bugs, that soon got ironed out through talking to support.We do not like that we have to request changes to templates via the support team.if more information of data fields were available we could tailer our own templates for dockets, forms and stationery for the product alot easier.

The central storage of information in one application was a massive asset to us, and the overall the system is well laid out and easy to use. We are now very happy with our documents etc and overall happy with PL. *We think PL should volunteer some follow up training after 3 or 6 months of deployment so Users can improve and use the system to its full capability.
Aspetti negativi:
1. Some of the features simply don't work. example entering Manual Items on a quote. When you enter a first item, it will pull in the correct pricing from the pre-loaded Items pricelist, but if you go back into that quote and 'add Manual Items' it pulls a price out of nowhere, sometimes €100s different. 2. There is a significant gap in the Costed Quote area re using Mixed stocks. eg the industry standard for all production booklets is 150gsm silk inserts, and a 300gsm silk cover, it is not possible to provide an accurate quotation for this as PL will not allow you to print and bind mixed stocks in the same quote column. 3. The garment/embroidery quote option is something we would like to use more but find it very complicated and confusing. Perhaps we need more training. 4. The inability to be able to 'Pricecard' or Pricelist industry standard items such as 500 Business Cards or 100 A4 flyers etc, makes the stock/purchase part of the application obsolete as selling these producst does not remove stock from your central file, it needs to be manually put in as Wastage, which most accountants/bookkeepers/owners would never accept. 5. We had hoped to use the Web2Print feature of PL and link it to our software but to me that link needs to be improved before we could develop it further (see point 4 above).
My Review
Aspetti positivi:
the ability to create costed quotes on the fly saves us a lot of time, however we have come across several issues when the system has generated prices incorrectly. This is usually corrected quickly by the support team but nevertheless means we have to stay vigilant
Aspetti negativi:
If you clone or duplicate a quote, for instance for a repeat order after selecting the account etc it takes you back to the original quote not the quote you have just created, which has led our estimators to override the original quote instead of amending the new cloned quote.
Printlogic has been a game changer for our small print studio!
Commenti: I found Printlogic on the Capterra website and after reading the reviews I contacted them that evening. The following morning I had a call back and a demo scheduled for that same afternoon. After a 30 minute demo I was sold and the rest is history! We pride ourselves on our customer support but the Printlogic team have exceeded even my high expectations from the initial call right through to on-going daily support.

Moving from manual quotes using multiple spreadsheets and good old fashioned pen and paper, Printlogic has been a game changer for us! It's incredibly user friendly and the support team behind the software are nothing short of incredible! It takes a little while to plug in all of the data (stocks, costs, machines, finishing options etc) but once it's all in, quotes are easy and super fast to generate. I love the fact multiple quantities and options can be included because this is request we get an awful lot due to the large number of finishing options and stocks we offer. I also love that customers can confirm orders via a link in their email and approve proofs online. The support team have been awesome tackling all of my requests for changes or customisation so it works exactly the way we need it to. The proofing system is quick and easy and the job management section has enabled us to improve efficiency and ditch our studio white board! We offer a lot of bespoke finishing options and have been able to build everything in so it can be quickly and easily costed up by any member of staff. Quotes are going out to customers faster which means we're securing more orders, jobs are going out quicker thanks to better job management and we're making less human error mistakes thanks to the works dockets being generated automatically rather than by hand. All in all I couldn't be happier and am so pleased I found Printlogic. At it's price point it is amazing value for money.

The proofing system wasn't ideal for us initially, however Printlogic customised it for us and in the process saved us a lot of money having a custom proofing system built.
