ACE works.

Aspetti positivi:

I love the interface, it's minimal, but has a logical progression where every detail I need is quickly accessed.

Aspetti negativi:

I would like to see a module that anticipates an asset management deployment, and calibration/PM scheduling requirements. This is all configurable, but that may not be apparent to new administrators where the LMS system and document/project pieces are very apparent.

Working with and on ACE

Aspetti positivi:

The system is highly configurable so processes can be customized in ACE to match your needs and current processes. We actually use the system internally to manage our own training and Quality processes. So, I have been the user in that sense and have always found ACE to be very user friendly.

Aspetti negativi:

Some people may not want to set up their configurations and validate them themselves, but PSC Software does offer services to configure and validate these items for your company if that is the case!

ACE

Commenti: Overall, a really great tool for small companies or those who just want a secure, easily searchable system for storing their electronic documents.

Aspetti positivi:

An economic option and great for small companies that are implementing an eQMS for the first time. Great for companies that are just looking for an eDMS.

Aspetti negativi:

Improvement needed in the more advanced eQMS features that go beyond document control, such as the audit module. Allowance for more customization would be appreciated.

ACE the quality multi tool

Commenti: ACE is a great multi faceted experience with ACE Sign, LMS, Docs and inspection, I find myself leaving the software for other tools less and less

I love that ACE lets me manage my training and quality processes all in one place

Aspetti negativi:

I get overwhelmed by all of the configuration options

ACE Implementation and Features

Commenti: We have been configuring ACE with the intention to use the application for Quality Assurance process. While the PSC team has been very responsive and approachable, they need improved technical writers, a stronger project management (to include communications) team and above all they need Business Analysis skills. The product is a good application with huge potential to be used in Audit, Inspection, Quality and CAPA managements spaces. The easily configurable nature of ACE, combined with their Analytic Reporting capability and collaborative functions makes ACE a very good product.

ACE is an easily implementable SaaS application. The user interfaces, features and response time is really good. ACE has a lot of configurable attributes which makes it very flexible. ACE has very good collaborative functions. The features are an endless possibility: - Chat functionality - Group chat per record and custom defined groups with history - Ease of creation and transitioning of records and capture of data - Acts a good document repository - Configurable workflows - Live Scribe and saved Scribe notes feature - Very succinct and user friendly dashboard - Strong Analytics reporting capability with export functionality - Step-wise configurable inapp notifications and email notifications - Task alerts - Role based access restrictions and permissions - Audit Trail - API The Implementation team is very knowledgeable and responsive.

Aspetti negativi:

Product implementation: the Implementation process needs vast improvements - the team requires a Business Analyst dedicated to every implementation. They need a professional technical writer and solution architecture. The team communications and project management needs vast improvements. The company needs a product roadmap that needs to be published and a process to elicit product improvements from their clientele. ACE: The tool is great but they need the following basic improvements: - a robust and above par PDF rendition capability - Customization Dashboard (to include company specific branding) - Customization of system notifications (to include company branding and remove ACE) - Alerts for Group Chat - Intuitive record creation and parent-child relational DB structure - more configurable permissions around Scribe functionality

A relatively simple QMS system to use

Commenti: This is the first QMS system I have used. Initially, it seems difficult but after some time, it becomes easier.

Aspetti positivi:

This QMS feels like a form-based system where users populate information into the blank space. It can be quite easy to use when information required is conspicuously requested. Document links It is a web-based software with a relatively fast response after clicking 'submit' button. Takes about 1-2 months (daily usage) to be acquainted with the software. Specific to QMS and QMS-related activities only.

Aspetti negativi:

Some functions, e.g. specific document search can be tricky for new users. It needs guidance from an experienced user. It would be helpful if there is a drop down quick help box instead of going through the Help Section and to find yourself in a big pool of information (which you need to search again). Drop down menu only shows document ID. Sometimes it is not possible to remember the title of the document which is associated with the document ID. Would be very helpful if the drop down document ID options also shows part of the document title to facilitate selection.

Highly Recommend this Software

Commenti: I have had nothing but great experience with ACE since we first implemented out first workflow in January of 2016. There were many people who were not comfortable with it, but have adjusted and cannot believe we were without it. PSC Biotech has been an essential part of our growth. They are always willing to help and have taken the time to explain on how to code workflows, or special requests.

Aspetti positivi:

Easy customization, can be used for any QSM, in any type of industry.

Aspetti negativi:

This is something that I like the least, but think it would be great to have: drag and drop when creating workflows instead of using the variables.

ACE in a GMP environment

Commenti: Enormous increase in efficacity to manage documents. Easy to obtain KPIs. Standardization of our proesses. No loss of documents. Better awareness and oversight on the quality system.

Aspetti positivi:

Ease to use Dashboards and direct status of each documents and workflows Cloud based

Aspetti negativi:

Configuration is not simple in order to have workflows that are fully GMP. For example many attempts were required to configure a workflow that would prevent an action from being completed before another one was, possibility to change due dates by users, etc. In GMP, this is important and the configuration of ACE is not easy in that sens. Our system is not yet fully GMP in that aspect.

ACE is the Best....Period.

Commenti: Utilzed to develop and publish SOP's, training management, policy reviews and publishing. I worked on front end configuration, and even developed a continuous, real time employee performance review framwork that preserves supervisor/employee conversations and was (of course) paperless.

Aspetti positivi:

ACE is absolutely the most configurable EMS platform you will find. It is the type of system that becomes your most trusted system of use and record; and which is a force multiplier for efficiency, speed of information, knowledge preservation, document management, SOP development, and countless other activities particular to your industry.

Aspetti negativi:

There was nothing that I don't like about ACE.

Ease of installation, validation and use. Support staff are quick to respond to any requests.

ACE Pros and Cons

Commenti: ACE is a very user friendly software which allows you the flexibility to carry out multiple processes on a single platform which is otherwise done through systems like Trackwise, SAP, LIMS, etc. making it very easy and convenient to use

- ACE software is a one stop for maintaining, modifying, and issuing controlled copies of any kind of documents with audit trail - ACE has functionality to carry out transactions like SAP inclusive of work orders and change controls making it easier to - ACE also keeps a track of all deviations and CAPAs which help to easily attach as a child record to the Master Batch Record (MBR) since they all are in the same platform - Keeps record of purchase orders, raw material specs, and different certificates that are associated with materials and equipment therefore making the inventory process easy - ACE allows to easily carry out User Required Specs, Functional Required Specs, Risk Assessments and System Impact Assessments on systems through its simple to use workflow and interface

Aspetti negativi:

ACE can be used as a dropbox to store all documents regarding a project but this was not successfully implemented as it required a different workflow

A really solid SaaS Quality Management System

Commenti: ACE is a really good document management system that allows for complete configuration of work flows. This provides an excellent user experience for our users at our Company. The best feature of ACE is the seamless integration of document control and the quality management system. Another great feature is they do not charge per "module", instead taking the enlightened approach of giving the customer everything immediately, something that most small and mid-sized companies should appreciate, if they are working on limited budgets. Our team likes the US based development, customer support and implementation teams. I also understand they have a group in Ireland that can support customers with telephone as well as onsite support, and also in Singapore.

Aspetti positivi:

The user interface is simple, clean and easy to use. The seamless integration of document control makes the software really easy to deploy and it is not expensive relative to some other competitors: Sparta System's TrackWise(TM), Oracle Agile (TM), MasterControl(TM), Documentum(TM), OpenText(TM) etc. The fact that it is on the cloud as software as a service really helps alleviate a lot of the system administration issues common with competing systems. Another aspect I like is it is comes pre-validated, relieving us of time consuming and costly validation consultants!!!!

Aspetti negativi:

The software is a relatively new offering compared to the other competitors, that being said, I wouldn't consider this to be a major disadvantage.

ACE review

Commenti: My experience with ACE for pharmaceuticals has been good. I like that although it take a little time and effort to get used to this format, it becomes user friendly as you use it.

Aspetti positivi:

1. All documents related to a product or an item can you added as an attachment. 2. An individual place holder can be linked to a product specifically which will show up on related documents/ links. 3. Ease of moving status of a document. 4. Status of material is visible.

Aspetti negativi:

1. Deviation writing should be more elaborate. 2. Root cause analysis and risk assessment /impact analysis requires emphasis. 3. The types of root cause is not identified. 4. Specific place holders/options for root cause is required. 5. Workflows are tedious to read. The work flow progress must be simplified. 6. ACE requires some access levels based on the department.

Very Intuitive Software Platform for document management in Pharma Industry

Commenti: ACE is very practical software system to log all the test results accurately, and compile and provide data summaries to management in timely manner. Quality Assurance specialist could review the test results remotely (Especially helpful during the COViD-19 Pandemic to minimize employee numbers). Overall, ACE meets the good documenting practices for regulatory organizations to comply with GMP regulations.

Aspetti positivi:

ACE was very easy to use and to maintain a detailed and accurate recording of activities and results on quality control tests. Very intuitive software to enter data into relevant data management systems. This software also very helpful to perform tracking and trending of data as requested. To work remotely to compile data and provide data summaries to management in timely manner.

Aspetti negativi:

In the case of mistake during performing the test, the manual explanation was required to enter. The ACE system could be improved if the possible reasons could be provided as options to choose including the 'other' option as well.

Review of ACE from a QC Microbio Intern

Commenti: Overall, ACE was helpful mainly as an electronic database for QC records. Being able to access all of this data is critical in the digital age.

Aspetti positivi:

ACE allowed for customization of each user's dashboard enabling me to display what I most needed to see and easily access it. It also allowed for filtered searching and exporting of results which helped when gathering data across many tests. The forms were easy to fill out and having all of the records electronically accessible was key.

Aspetti negativi:

The forms were easy to fill out but difficult to go back and change once submitted. Although this is a pro from a quality assurance standpoint, it was hard when accidents occurred since separate documentation would need to be created to correct the mistake. The software was occasionally slow.

ACE Review CAS

Commenti: Easy to setup dashboard to monitor close out of documents. Allowed for easy management of all quality related documents. Was able to adapt to other functions such as receipt of materials and capture data.

Aspetti positivi:

It’s very intuitive and easy to change workflows when required. It’s very adaptable to user needs/ requirements.

Aspetti negativi:

Not we’ll known in the market, so required a lot of explanation of function etc to our clients.

User friendly platform

Commenti: It is a good platform to use for its user friendly approach and all-in-one type of environment

Aspetti positivi:

It’s super easy to learn and use. The search feature gives you easy access to documents being searched. It’s nice to have QC, Micro, validation and engineering documents all in one platform.

Aspetti negativi:

I wish we could link all documents related to a specific equipment by simple selecting an equipment number as opposed to individual protocol or document numbers.

I appreciated that easy-to-use interface and the ability to quickly find information I was looking for. ACE does it's job well.

The search function could be improved, possibly with a context algorithm or systematic related keyword search.

ACE is good for industry which can provide different modules together

Commenti: My overall experience was very good. This software is compliant with all industry regulations and can be easily optimized. There are many occasions I got some issues, they are fixed quickly to suit the process.

Aspetti positivi:

ACE is very unique software which can be used to write/initiate records/deviations and at the same time this software can be used for Material Management & QC Sample Management. Its like having many functions in one software.

Aspetti negativi:

As far as in my experience with ACE, change control initiation was little complicated and can be optimized more.

One stop shop

Commenti: Using Ace solved the problem of buying, integrating and maintaining multiple systems for necessary compliance. One password, one system.

Aspetti positivi:

The software is intuitive and forgiving. One stop shop for your compliance needs - authoring of sops, training compliance, capas ,etc.

Aspetti negativi:

There were no cons from my usage perspective.

Clean interface and easy to use

Commenti: ACE made it easy to take everything digital and stop using old paper validation systems

ACE is very intuitive and easy to use while still offering all the functionality you need.

If you don’t have a technical background configuring the workflows could take getting used to but it is a very simple UI and easy to learn.

Great web-based QMS

Aspetti positivi:

Web-based, so you can access documents from anywhere on any platform. Simple UI that is intuitive and easy to navigate. Highly modular and customizable to your specific business needs. I would strongly recommend this software to any company with GMP operations.

Aspetti negativi:

Electronic batch record support was a work in progress when I last interacted with it day-to-day, but that was a minor thing. This is very good software.

Extremely easy to use

It is the most essential product to have when running any kind of industry since it precisely keeps track of your every single process and documents it all so you would just need to focus on running your business!

It could take just a little time to get used to the system which is the case almost everyone new. But other than that I dont see any flaws in it
