There are several addons to the “standard” file sharing that make this quite worthwhile. We use the Snap tool to screen record and share for trainings. Further, sharing content outside the org is more secure as external users need to verify identity first. The doc management and admin features are standard and quite good.

Aspetti negativi:

Users need to install additional tools to use workdrive and the integration to Microsoft suite of products isn’t as good as OneDrive.

Zoho Needs some work

Commenti: It was exciting at first but then all the bugs started coming out and causing disruption in the workflow. Starting to look for something new

It keeps disconnecting from my log in and says it cannot find my work. It is very frustrating and makes me want to stop using it. I know they are working on it, but I am afraid to lose my work.

What I like most about Zoho WorkDrive is the sharing and collaboration tools. I like that you can share and collect files externally and internally with a simple link.

What I like least is how folders are automatically created in Zoho WorkDrive based on projects I create in Zoho Projects. I am sure that there is a way to disable this option, however, I've not found it yet.

Experience as a Student

Commenti: Overall, I would say that this is better than the competition, especially many featureful settings available at a click. I would definitely use in future in a professional like of work, but under my current circumstances, I feel like the free 5GB is a bit too low for my use.

The UI is much simpler, and it's very easy to navigate within the website with all required settings easily accessible. We don't have to delve into settings to share the files publicly, the options are directly available with a click. I also really like that is shows a percentage bar for our file upload information.

Aspetti negativi:

I feel like 5GB capacity for free users is a bit low at this moment. Currently as a student, I tend to opt for free trials or free alternatives to work with my projects. I feel like it would be more useful to me in future as a professional worker.

Commenti: As a touch company we have vital information about our nature of business such as customer names, locations, emails, number of items and assets of our organization and very sensitive legal documentation which requires a highly secure space but at the same time accessible from anywhere in the world, Zoho Workdrive provides all these functionalities adding capable of security to our information, encourages team work allowing access to shared files according to the roles granted, this far exceeds the traditional way of working as it does not limit the group to be in a specific graphic space, Zoho Workdrive is then one of the best alternatives and the most complete of the segment.

If we talk in terms of collaboration we must bring as a reference Zoho Workdrive as it is perhaps the tool that is a step ahead in the concept of teamwork; this space dedicated mainly to editing, viewing and collaboration of files and documents is located in the cloud under high standards of data protection (encryption and double authentication MFA) which makes this a safe space for our information avoiding intrusions and losses of it, A very useful feature is the direct synchronization in our desktop computers creating a direct link as a local PC drive where I can host the files to share and these in real time are synchronized with our space in the cloud, simply a very complete and forward-looking alternative.

Aspetti negativi:

At the moment there are more benefits that we have obtained from the tool than negative points, initially we did not count that the 5 TB space was shared for the whole team but with the optimal use of the resources we have managed to manage this space complementing it with the other tools of the Zoho suite.
